Secluded away in the northern Georgia wilderness, the property offers plenty of opportunity to maximize your time outside, with access to scenic hiking trails through the expansive mountainous terrain that weaves throughout the area as well as a spacious backyard complete with firepit and Adirondack seating. Day or night, you’ll never run out of things to do and see. Outside of the home, nearby destinations provide access to wineries and vineyards, rafting, ziplining, lakes, river tubing, horseback riding, and so much more. Plan a day trip to Ellijay, less than 20 minutes away, and take full advantage of the shopping, dining, and entertainment scene.

When you’re ready for some much-needed downtime back at the home, you’ll be welcomed by an impressive wood interior providing warmth and depth to open spaces and private corners alike. Soaring ceilings on the main level are complemented by large picture windows, creating bright and open spaces perfect for entertaining. A cozy living room features leather sofa and recliner seating and smart TV accompanied by a gas fireplace for cooler nights or months or when you simply want to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Flow into the kitchen where the chef in your group will be delighted to find it fully equipped with all standard appliances, cookware, toaster, and drip coffee maker. Serve up a spread of afternoon hors d’oeuvres at the spacious island with high-top stool seating for 6 or prepare and serve formal meals at the dining room table seating 8.

Looking to engage in some friendly competition? The lower level has you covered. Stocked with a chess/checker set, board games, and private entertainment area for hooking up your gaming consoles, you can fully immerse yourself in hours of fun. In addition to the bedrooms, this level also has its own full kitchen when you want to whip up a quick snack or breakfast, or supplement a larger meal co-prepared with the main kitchen.

Since we know you’ll want to spend as much time outdoors as possible, the home offers several spaces for dining and relaxing under the open sky with rocking chairs, café style seating, and tables with umbrellas. Dine on your meals al fresco, enjoy an evening cocktail under the stars, or enjoy the views along with your morning coffee.

This home comfortably sleeps 10 guests between 3 private bedrooms and 2 queen size sofa sleepers.

- Bedroom #1 is the master bedroom and includes a king size bed, deck access, and an ensuite bathroom with a dual vanity and spacious walk-in shower.
- Bedrooms #2 and #3 both include a queen size bed.

The home also includes an additional full bathroom with a single vanity and shower/tub combo, and a half bathroom.

- Washer and dryer in home.
- Driveway parking available for up to 4 vehicles. Additional parking is available on the lower level.
- This home has a Ring doorbell camera as well as 5 exterior cameras for the purpose of observing wildlife.

Nearby Coosawattee River in Ellijay is a beautiful waterway with a wonderful paddle/canoe ride through 13 miles of class 1 and some class 2 shoals. When you’re ready for a taste of urban life, explore the nearby towns of Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Don’t let the small-town atmosphere fool you – plenty of shops, restaurants, breweries, wineries, and galleries await. Book a shuttle or wine tour to one of the dozens of nearby wineries to taste a variety of mountain wines, completing the day with views of the sunset from one of the many scenic outlooks. Expedition Bigfoot is nearby Blue Ridge is a must see!

The historic town of Ellijay, GA is located in Gilmer County, an area known for its agricultural way of life and laid-back tourist destinations like mountain wineries and u-pick apple orchards. Although Ellijay has a small-town atmosphere filled with nostalgia, it provides guests with access to the Southeast’s major cities including Chattanooga and Atlanta. Nestled in the green foothills of the vast Chattahoochee National Forest at the base of the Appalachian Mountain Range, Gilmer County abounds with forests, wildlife, clean air, sparkling rivers, lakes and streams. With hundreds of miles of hiking trails and waterways to explore, you can spend your entire day outdoors taking in the mountain fresh air and breathtaking scenery.

GUIDELINES:
- Vehicle Recommendation: While AWD or 4WD vehicles are not necessary and you will be able to navigate this road we do recommended to travel the hilly gravel road leading to the house carefully and do not spin or cause your vehicle to throw of gravel and dirt. This is likely to ensure that vehicles have the necessary traction and control on the uneven surface. Caution should be taken to avoid spinning out. Drive safely and slowly
- Penalty for Spinning Out: There is a fine for any vehicles caught spinning out on the gravel road. This emphasizes the importance of careful driving and control while navigating the hilly terrain.
- Noise Level: To be considerate of nearby residents, especially with regards to music, it's advised to keep noise levels low. This helps maintain a peaceful environment and prevents disturbances.
- Respect Private Property: All properties surrounding the two lots are privately owned. Venturing onto these properties is considered trespassing. It's important to respect the boundaries and privacy of neighboring properties.
- Lights Out at 10:00 PM: All outside lights should be turned off at 10:00 PM. This helps maintain a natural environment and avoids unnecessary light pollution, which can be disruptive to wildlife and neighboring residents.

Following these guidelines will not only ensure your own safety but also contribute to a respectful and harmonious experience for everyone involved.

Our Hot tub fees are included in our pricing - no additional hot tub fees for our properties. You will have a fully equipped kitchen: refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, some properties offer both Keurig/Drip combo, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans.

Our Basic Provisions:
Include all linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-wash cloth PER person, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dust pan, mop, streaming smart TV, internet, and propane grill or both charcoal and gas. (Some properties have more) Please pick up after your pet at pet friendly properties.

In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (2 rolls per bathroom), Paper Towels (1 roll), Garbage Bags (2-3 bags), Dishwasher Detergent (1-2 loads), Laundry Detergent (1 load), and some Dishwashing Soap.

Returning Guests are considered VIPs….(when available) we offer free Early check in or Late check out - ask local management team. All trash must be properly bagged or charged a fine. Please abide by all the rules and be courteous of neighbors. If need be management reserves the right to and can evict rowdy/unruly guests on behalf of our owners. However, we have not had to do so yet!
