Chamonix #076

Everything was more than I had expected, especially the functional kitchen and all the accessories. Only one issue that I came accoss, which is the electrical outlet to the left of the stove was not working. I would like to book this unit in the future directly if possible.

The unit was exactly as described, and thus well suited to our needs. We enjoyed our week's stay very much.

Nice accommodations. There was a faint persistent unpleasant but tolerable odor possibly associated with snow damage to units below. It is understandable as the area is recovering from a federal emergency due to excessive snowfall related damages. Hot tubs were available at will. Kitchen was well equipped. Overall we were pleased with the accommodations.

Great roomy condo. Perfect for small family. The loft is like a small separate apartment. They closed the Canyons lifts during the week so we had to go to the Mill. On the weekends you can have a nice walk to the lifts. To families who need an elevator, this is on the second floor and there are no elevators. Other than that this was clean, with everything one would need..

The condo met all of our needs. It can sleep six comfortably, with four sharing the upstairs loft. King bed downstairs was very comfortable. The price was fair for a 2 bed/ 2 full bath unit. The condo is close enough to walk to Canyon Lodge, but carrying ski/snowboard gear makes it more difficult. We drove our equipment over and then parked back at the condo as parking at Canyon Lodge fills up early. Everything was in working order. Check in process was very easy. We really have no complaints.

Excellent location! This was the closest we have ever stayed to Canyon Lodge. We had a little trouble finding the right building because the snow was piled up so high, but the property manager responded immediately to my text. I told them we could not find a parking space and the unit was guaranteed to have two allotted parking spaces. They said they would have someone call me the very next day after we checked in the first night but no one called. I told the property manager on Day 2 that no one called me about the parking situation and they did nothing about it. The gas fire place did not work. We tried it each night. The instructions on the wall were very simple, but not thorough enough. All it says it "if it doesn't turn on, wait 5 mins. and try again". The first night, the property manager sent someone to get the fire started, but he could not tell me how he did it. I had the same problem the next night and texted the property manager and they never came to fix it. It was surprising to me that they did not follow through. They never resolved the gas fireplace not working and never checked in on us and we checked out the next day. Most condos we have stayed at have provided some games for entertainment. We thought about bringing a deck of cards or some games but thought there would most likely be something to do in the condo. There was nothing. We highly suggest considering keeping a few board games or something for people to do.

Great location for skiing at Mammoth. Easy walking distance to Canyon Lodge (~5min). Slightly older property, but clean and comfortable for a family of 4. Not a problem for us, but this property is on the 2nd floor w no elevators. Kids enjoyed the jacuzzi at the rec center as well as the easy access to the ski lodge. We mostly ate in/cooked and property had all kitchen utensils/ appliances we needed. Pls note that laundry is across the street in the rec center w app/bluetooth to operate, minimum $10 deposit ($3.50 for a wash + $1.50 for dry cycle… 2 dry cycles required).

Accommodations were great and team was helpful. Considering the major snow conditions, there were no problems. Condo was as presented in advertisements. Clean and well stocked with everything needed for a successful stay.

Loved the place. Beds and bedding were wonderful and fresh. Everything we needed was there. The walk to Canyon Lodge was super easy. A great place.

So nice to be in the cool Mountains during a hot summer day! The place was nice and roomier than I expected from the pictures. Club house was great with really hot hot tubs and a cool pool. It would have been nice if they did have a few extra outside lounge chairs. The management team was really responsive with questions.

Really good location near Canyon Lodge. Two hot tubs for after skiing which were easy to get the kids into (family friendly at least in late afternoon). Condo was good with big kitchen and warm fireplace. Closet space was a little lacking particularly in downstairs bedroom so a little harder to keep things organized than would be ideal, compounded by lack of in unit washer / dryer. But overall was a solid choice for three of us for the week

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! The location was fantastic, an easy walk to Canyon Lodge and it was very comfortable for our family. The place was clean and easy to access with plenty of towels and a well stocked kitchen. My only complaint is that it was listed as a 2 bedroom, when in fact it is a 1 bedroom with a loft. With that being said, the loft is very large with an attached bathroom so it ended up working out. Great place, I would definitely recommend it!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at 76 Chamonix over our spring break.  The location is great – walking distance to the lifts at Canyon, even for my 6 year old.  We also had fun taking the gondola down to the village – another easy walk. Condo itself was well stocked with everything we would need for our stay.  There was an abundance of dishes, blankets, pillows, towels, etc for everyone to be comfortable.  The beds were great and everyone got a good night’s sleep.  The spa was open (by reservation) and fun for everyone. The kids loved playing the old school video game system and we had nightly Pac-Man and Pole Position tournaments.  The owners, Bob and Vicki, were great with communication and so nice to work with, even going out of their way to get some property back to us that we left in the unit.  Highly recommend this condo, 5 stars! and would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at Chamonix 76. The condo has a great location, super close to Canyon Lodge. The owner has included everything you need, comfy mattresses, plenty of wine glasses, 2 coffee makers and a ski locker!  We are looking forward to the next trip in April.

This unit was clean, cozy (but not too small), comfortable, perfect location & great amenities. We had a wonderful stay & would love to stay there again!

Super convenient to the slopes, and easy in and out. Cozy and warm family room setting for games, TV or whatever in the evening. Excellent value making for an excellent mountain getaway.

We are a family of four, and stayed here for our first trip to Mammoth in August. They were in the middle of a heatwave, so we were very thankful for the great fans this condo provided. The owners are very accommodating. Great location! Close to village and slopes. Condo is well stocked for cooking your own meals. Beds are comfortable and news fans make it comfortable during summer months. We highly recommend this condo!

We loved it here! Bob and Vicky's condo was perfect - very comfortable and clean, with all the amenities you could want - wifi, cable television, comfy beds, and a short walk to Canyon Lodge. The owners truly seemed to have thought of everything - we were amazed by all the supplies that were available for use. If there's something you've forgotten, they likely have it in the condo. The unit is also nicely updated. We had a great stay and look forward to coming back!

The condo was perfect. Had everything plus! We have been rebting in Mammoth for over 20 years and this condo was one of the best. I highly recommed it. Close to the lifts, walking distamce to the village.

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was very comfortable for myself, my husband, and our two young kids. The bunk beds were a hit! The pool and spa were fun. My favorite part was that while not huge, there was plenty of room for all of us to have our own space when necessary. Bob, the owner, was very responsive and made himself available to us in the event that we needed him. (We didn't, but it was nice to know we could get him if needed.) We would return here on future trips to Mammoth.

My family took a short weekend vacation to Mammoth. From the moment we selected #76 to the moment we checked out we were completely satisfied. The location is perfect, close (walking distance) to the village and the adventure center. The condo is very cozy, plenty of seating for our party of 5, beds were amazing. The kitchen in stocked well. Checkin and out were easy as could be, and Bob provided how to's on necessary thermostats. Bob also provided restaurant recommendations, and offered assistance with anything we needed, we didn't need anything. We loved it and can't wait to go back. Thanks for providing us a great vacation. For the last 8 years we have vacationed in Mammoth and stayed at another condo. This year we decided to try something new and we are glad we did. The layout was perfect for us and allowed for other family to visit and stay with us. You will find the owners are very attentive up to and throughout your stay. Appreciate the check-ins from Bob to make sure things were okay. We received a text from Bob on the day of the check-in to let us know the unit was cleaned earlier and if we wanted to chick-in early we were welcomed to do so. I have never experienced an owner who kept us up to date and followed through like Bob did. You will find the kitchen well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, and a variety of food items from coffee, spices, and condiments. So, before you go grocery shopping check the cupboards. If this is your first time visiting Mammoth I would recommend you consider this unit as the owners provided you a lot of tips, places to eat and other things about Mammoth.

Beautiful condo - great location & owner Bob very attentive

My family has stayed in several condos in St Anton and Chamonix over the years and this is by far the nicest condo with very accommodating and responsive owners. We love this complex because it is an easy walk to Canyon lodge, the lifts and the gondola to the village. The kitchen is stocked with more spices, cooking utensils, glassware for every type of beverage, pans and skillets than I have at home. You can prepare and serve meals here as easily as you do at home. The bathrooms are nicely remodeled and all of the features of the condo work perfectly. The owners have provided instructions with the TVs, fireplace, thermostats, parking passes, etc. which was very helpful. The internet also worked well for our entire stay. Most importantly, the owners were friendly, easy to reach and accommodating to our needs. We will definitely stay here on future trips to Mammoth!

The condo is in the Chamonix complex, which is walking distance to Canyon Lodge. Our family of 4 was very comfortable in this unit. My husband and I took the king bedroom downstairs, and our kids shared the huge loft upstairs which has a queen bed, single stacked bunk, and its own bathroom. The open area of the loft has a metal divider for safety and a pull down window shade for privacy. The living space felt like a home compared to the Westin suite we experienced the night before. The over-stocked kitchen is tiny, though, and only fits one person at a time. We loved having the gas fireplace, which we could turn on with a simple press of a button, and it has a timer so we didn't have to worry about accidentally leaving it on. The owner Bob graciously allowed us an early check-in after we got in town the night before to beat a bad storm. He was also very reachable and knowledgeable whenever we had questions or needed advice. One thing I wish we knew before booking a condo in this complex: the walls are tissue-thin. Evenings and mornings in the master bedroom were filled with the sounds of adjoining neighbors snoring, using their bathrooms, having conversations with their kids, getting ready for skiing--everything. No one was shouting or having a party, so I assume the noise is just part of staying here. This is why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5.

Bob was so great to work with, gave great directions and paid attention to every detail. Condo was well appointed with a stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and fluffy towels. Walked to canyon lodge one day and took the shuttle one day, couldn't be easier. The condo was clean and the fireplace with a fan dried everything after a day on the slopes. The Ms Pacman joystick and Pole Position were a great treat for our kids. Hope to visit again!

We stayed here over MLK weekend. This unit is very clean. Has all the amenities you would want or need. Bob was very responsive and a great host. Described everything in the finest detail and was very interested that we had a great stay. Great communication prior to and during our stay. By far, the most comfortable beds I have slept on in Mammoth. All of the furnishings were clean and well maintained. The entertainment system (TV, etc) was 1st class. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates and even spices, etc. Easy walk to Canyon lodge as well. It really felt like it was our condo while we stayed there - not just a place we were renting. I can't say enough good things about it. I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay in this unit thoroughly. We stayed as a family with our two children. The unit would have comfortably slept six though. It is in a great location; less than a five minute walk to Canyon lodge. The two large hot tubs and sauna right outside the unit were a huge plus. The unit was well equipped with everything we needed, including a fully appointed kitchen, sleds which our kids enjoyed, family games, and even snow brushes to remove snow from our vehicle (it snowed hard while we were there and this came in handy!). The owner was very pleasant to work with and responded to questions quickly in a helpful manner. Would definitely recommend this booking and plan to stay again!

Bob is super cool guy was very helpful in getting us in and settled, and during the big storm that weekend. Condo is set up perfectly and all ameneties fun and functioning. Most convenient stay I've had in Mammoth. Will definitely be back!

My friends and I had a great time at Bob and Vicki's place. They clearly take a lot of pride in their home. The condo was very clean and well kept.

We had a short stay of just two nights for a wedding. The condo was perfect for our needs. Very clean and, as noted, the linens were high quality. Although not needed, it was really nice of the owners to supply toiletries in case we forgot any. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen was very well stocked and it was nice of the owners to offer use of any spices or supplies with a reasonable request that if we used up anything, we replaced it. We had many brochures and guides for review on what to do, restaurants, discount coupons, etc. to review if we had more time. The communications with the owners were extremely prompt and thorough. They refunded our security deposit immediately after the condo was cleaned. In addition, the owners contacted us before, during and after our stay just to confirm everything was as expected. I highly recommend and would stay here again on our next trip to Mammoth.

Great little condo! The space was perfect for our family - large loft upstairs for the kids with a good sized bedroom down for us. The kitchen was one of the best stocked we have ever stayed in. The living spaces were comfortable. The location could not be beat - just a short, easy walk to Canyon Lodge. If we are ever in Mammoth again, we would definitely stay here!

This was an excellent clean ,efficient ,and comfortable ,basically two bedroom condo. The furniture was ample and comfortable as well as pleasant to the eye. I especially liked the quietness and the separation of the two bedrooms. If there are two couples they can watch TV independently without hearing the other one. It is especially nice to be close to restaurants and other services. It is also very close to the slopes and ski lifts.

My husband and I recently stayed at this location and were very happy be did! It is very close to Canyon Lodge for skiing and even in summer months offers a great location which is close to lakes for fishing or hiking. The owners have provided a most comfortable and well-appointed facility complete with all the kitchen items anyone could possible require. If one doesn't feel up to cooking, there are many good restaurants nearby and dining in Mammoth is always casual. We enjoyed playing golf at Sierra Star and Snow Creek which are just gorgeous courses! The condo has the most comfortable beds (Sleep Number) affording a most relaxing sleep. Although we didn't require it this vacation, there is a gas-powered fireplace which would really be appreciated during those chilly nights in winter. A pool, spa and recreation room complete the facilities. Additionally, there is a free shuttle bus that serves the area and runs yearlong. For comfort, convenience and relaxation, this is the place!

The condo is very cozy with everything you would need for your stay. The hosts were VERY good at communicating with us both prior to arrival and during our stay when we had a questions or two. They even had sleds for the kids on the patio, which was great. Overall condition of the condo was great. Couldn't really ask for anything more!

The hosts are very attentive and responsive to needs which is great for renters. The condo is well stocked with "home provisions" like spices and cooking needs, and this is rare in condo rental pools. In addition, the linens, beds, and towels are luxurious. Both beds have a Sleep Number mattress which allows ANYONE to get comfortable - no old mattress of 15 years like many other rentals. Facility was very nice - 2 jacuzzi's - One should be hotter than other other to sync with needs of varied guest needs. Clean sauna and billiard room too. We highly recommend and would return to this lovely condo.

This condo was perfect for our needs. Our party consisted of two parents and two twenty-somethings. It was comfortable, nicely furnished, well-stocked, and very clean. A very short, easy walk to Canyon Lodge. The owner was friendly and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this for a family or group of 4-6 people. We've stayed many places in Mammoth, but this is the one we'll keep coming back to.
