With a backdrop like this, we couldn’t blame you for taking all your meals al fresco, fully immersed in the fresh air and breathtaking scenery. Set out on a hike down to the shores where you’ll discover charming picnic areas perfect for a light lunch and walking trails taking you on a tour around one of the best lakes in the west. The Forks Resort, accessible by car or on foot, includes an onsite restaurant known for its burgers. If you’re feeling like you just have to get out on the water, rentals are available whether for boats, kayaks, paddleboards, and more. If you’re up for a road trip, the historic and must-see destination of Yosemite National Park is a ½ hour drive away.

The cabin’s cozy, modern interior is a welcome space to relax and recharge between outdoor adventures. The open floor plan is designed to maximize time spent together, organically blending living and dining together. The living room includes a leather loveseat and 2 armchairs, with a mounted smart TV ready to stream all of your favorite shows. The dining room table can seat 4 for formal meals or an energetic game night. The spacious kitchen offers stainless steel appliances and plenty of counterspace for meal prep and staging, with all the cookware and dining ware needed to assist within the ample wood cabinetry. End your days by preparing prepare a delicious barbeque dinner out on the deck on the provided grill as you soak in the warm sun during what was another picture-perfect California day!

This home comfortably sleeps 4 guests between 2 private bedrooms. Both bedrooms include comfortable queen beds with fresh linens and soft blankets to ensure a great night’s sleep. The home’s full bathroom includes a single vanity and shower/tub combo.

• Driveway parking available for 2 vehicles maximum.
• This brilliant home is one step from nature and as such is subject to the natural occurrences of snow, rain, wind, falling pine needles and leaves, dust/dirt, animals and insects. As these issues persist long after we clean, there are brooms, snow shovels and other necessary items to assist you in clearing decks, balconies, porches or other spaces.

Just 20 miles from the southern gate of Yosemite, Oakhurst is an ideal gateway town to the national park. Additionally, this home is less than 5 minutes from Bass Lake, a premier destination for water skiing, fishing, and kayaking. Sheltered coves and sandy beaches make for refreshing swimming, while dozens of nearby trails lead into the Sierra National Forest which you can explore on foot or by mountain bike. No matter your choice of nature activities, you’ll already be in the heart of it all!
