Upon approaching this Sea Ranch vacation home, be sure to appreciate the beautiful design by architect Elee Tsai. Pacific FantaSea sits just a short distance from the bluffs, offering sweeping views of lush meadows and the breathtaking Pacific Ocean. With 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a loft this rental is great for accommodating families and friends. Vacationers will have access to a 2-car garage and large driveway to ensure space for their vehicles at all times.

The first common living space guests encounter is a cozy living room. Seating is placed around a fireplace (wood provided) and TV. As the coastal breeze picks up at night, the fireplace offers a homely ambiance. Curl up on the couch with a good novel or turn on the TV to relax with a movie. A DVD Player and high-speed fiberoptic WIFI are provided for your entertainment.

Continuing through the home brings you to the fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen has all appliances and plenty of counter space for the chef in your group to whip up tasty treats and mouthwatering meals. When dinner is hot and ready to be served, call everyone over to the dining table and enjoy a home cooked meal together.

When you are ready for a good night's rest, there are two bedrooms and a loft to choose from. The master bedroom is furnished with a comfortable King size bed, TV, and has an attached bathroom. The guest bedroom holds a Queen size bed. The upstairs loft also has a pull out murphy bed. All guests will have access to a full guest bathroom near the common living area. The back deck is clad with a BBQ.

Sea Ranch is a planned community with over 3000 acres featuring: The Historic Sea Ranch Chapel, The Sea Ranch lodge (restaurant and shopping), a 50-mile trail system with 6 public beach access points, 18-hole golf course (open to the public), dog park, and 3 recreation centers with outdoor pools, locker rooms, half-basketball court, and tennis courts (amenities vary with each center) for guest use. RV's, trailers, or mobile homes are strictly not allowed.

This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.

Wifi did not work

While the property was lovely, we were VERY disappointed that the WIFI did not work. We specifically chose this property as we needed the WIFI so our kids could contact us while being away (6 kids from 2 different couples). When we arrived, the house keeper was there along with the wifi company. They told us THE WIFI was out but they were working to remedy the situation but then never did. They communicated with us the night we arrived letting us know they were working on it but when I reached out to them twice after that they ignored our questions and request for an update. It was really disappointing. It’s. A lovely property but if you need WIFI (cell service in Sea Ranch is spotty) make sure it’s working before you arrive.

We apologize that you and your guests experienced internet connection issues during your stay at our Pacific FantaSea property. The internet service was damaged by a previous tenant and has since been fixed for future guests residing at our Sea Ranch property. Thank you for your feedback, it really helps improve as hosts.

Beautiful location but home needs a few upgrades

We loved the location of the home but found the home could use a few upgrades to make it more modern. The two toilets in the home are very low and could use higher toilets and grab bars next to them. We found the fireplace too complicated to use so we didn’t use it. The late check in and early check out made us feel we paid for a lost day. We also had trouble with the electrical outlets saying it was not charging any of our iPhones and iPads. We found the TV stations to be limited and tried to stream as much as we could off our iPads

Perfect for us

Add street address to check-in instructions

We LOVE Sea Ranch! The house was quite comfortable, in a great location, and utterly charming when the twinkle lights came on each night. But due to bad weather our flight was delayed. We made the drive up the coast in heavy fog and arrived feeling very stressed out, only to find the management office was closed. All we knew was the street name and lot number for the house. The streets are not lit, the street signs can’t be seen at night and there were no identifiable numbers to indicate which house we had rented. We repeatedly drove up and down the street trying to see house numbers to no avail. We tried the lock code we had been given at one house but it didn’t work. Finally, at 10:30pm we called the emergency number for assistance. They got us to the right house but the lock code didn’t work. Fortunately, they gave us a different code that worked. Although we loved the house and the sea ranch experience a house number and a porch light left on for late arrivals would have made a big difference.

Our local office should be open after hours for guests to retrieve any keys or passes you may need. Again, we are so sorry & are glad to hear you still enjoyed your stay! 🙂

Spacious, sun filled vacation home , close to walks along the cliffs of Sea Ranch.

Wonderful location close to cliff walks. Views of ocean from sundry spots in the home or views of pretty green forested hills to the northeast. It was utterly peaceful and so quiet, perfect for a visit with cousins from the East Coast. Great flow from front door to kitchen, dining area and living room. Very comfortable master suite upstairs with window seats for reading and water gazing. Downstairs second bedroom has a very spacious bath. Wall bed in upstairs loft for kids or other guests. Kitchen was very well equipped with cheerful china and linens. We took 3 or 4 walks each day and went to sleep listening to the ruffle of waves to the west.

Shopping is close by in Gualala where excellent seafood comes in each day! There are a few small restaurants there as well although you ought to pack everything you might need for cooking, olive oil, certain herbs, etc. It was quite warm so we never used the fireplace. Guests need better instructions on use of the television and oven, but that is minor. We would be pleased to rent Pacific FantaSea again.
