Looking for a quiet and relaxing escape from San Francisco? The Sea Ranch is a beautiful vacation destination to experience a slower pace. Sixpence is a modern house with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. Spend your days walking along the bluff's coast as the Shell Beach Access Trail is just minutes away.
2 parking spaces will be available on the property. Upon entering the vacation rental you are greeted by a bright open floor plan. Expansive windows offer natural lighting breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean from nearly every room.
The living room is furnished with a large sectional couch placed near a fireplace and mounted flat-screen TV. As the coastal breeze picks up at night, light the gas fireplace to warm yourself and create a cozy ambiance. Curl up on the couch with a good novel or settle down for a movie at the end of the night. WiFi is also provided for your entertainment. A washer and dryer are tucked away, convenient for any swimsuits after a dip in the private hot tub.
The kitchen has updated stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. A chef will thoroughly enjoy cooking scrumptious snacks and gourmet meals in here. Dine, drink, and spend quality time with your guests here. Glass doors lead out to the back deck nearby with a hot tub.
The master bedroom is on the main level of the home. This bedroom has a King bed, has doors to the back deck, and an attached master bathroom. The master bathroom has a walk-in shower and large vanity. Upstairs there are two guest bedrooms both with Queen beds. Two guest bathrooms are available, one with a walk-in shower and the other with a bathtub.
All guests must be 8+ years old for safety reasons.
The Sea Ranch is a planned community with over 3000 acres featuring: The Historic Sea Ranch Chapel, The Sea Ranch lodge (restaurant and shopping), a 50-mile trail system with 6 public beach access points, 18-hole golf course (open to the public), dog park, and 3 recreation centers with outdoor pools, locker rooms, half-basketball court, and tennis courts (amenities vary with each center) for guest use. RV's, trailers, or mobile homes are strictly not allowed.
The Sea Ranch facility reservations for pool, tennis and golf are available on the Sea Ranch Association website. The trails and beaches are open.

by LAUREN F.A lovely four-day vacation! The house was wonderful, the view and walking trails exceptional, and we couldn't have asked for more.
There were a couple problems that were somewhat promptly repaired (stuck window in upstairs bedroom, clogs in upstairs bathroom). The only other issues were that the fireplace was broken which was disappointing and the tv and remotes were very difficult to figure out (instructions that were printed out didn't work), but we managed.
All in all, we are looking forward to returning some time soon!

by Paul G.We really enjoyed our stay. The view across the meadow to the ocean was beautiful. We say plenty of deer (including fawns), rabbits, birds. The open floor plan of the main floor is really convenient and comfortable. The kitchen is great for cooking. The hot tub was divine, as well as the back yard deck. The beds are firm yet very comfortable. And the living room furniture also is very comfortable. We noticed only one flaw (and the reason for a 4-star review instead of 5) -- a couple of the double pane windows may be leaky, as moisture gets trapped between the panes and causes several cloudy windows. Nonetheless, we would stay here again without question.
