Northstar Palace

We liked everything about this house. It is spacious and has a stunning view. The home is well designed and is very tastefully decorated, with so many thoughtful touches. There are two large, new refrigerators. We appreciated the closet full of board games and puzzles, and the very well organized kitchen with labels on every drawer. We had to contact management for a few minor issues and they responded quickly. Everything was above and beyond our expectations.

This home lived up to expectations! Looks exactly like the pictures in person, and everything worked perfectly. The only minor complaint is that the beds are extremely firm, and a simple mattress pad could have made a big difference. But everything else was truly amazing and we will definitely be coming back in the future. Thank you for an unbelievably wonderful stay!

Family had a great time!

This home has a very nice feeling to it. With 5 master bedrooms and a kids room for 6, it provides just enough public and private space for all. Nice large dining room, great conversational living room, and fantastic feel. Close enough to NorthStar Village and Truckee to get all you need.

Thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful home. It was perfect for our group of four families with small kids.

Tastefully furnished and lots of amenities

Great property for a large group. A number of small things were broken, and the fireplace didn't work. Otherwise awesome for our family.

Loved our stay here over New Years. Place is gorgeous and roomy and allows families to spread out. It's rustic and charming and feels like a private lodge in the mountains. Being able to walk to the Northstar Village and to the Ritz gondola is a wonderful convenience. While the glassware was a bit random, the dishes, cutlery, and pots/pans were high quality which is a real perk in a rental. Kitchen is spacious and lovely for families who center their activities around cooking (as we do).

Only issue for us was that the upper deck was closed due to some maintenance which meant we couldn't use the outdoor grill at all which was a big bummer for us because we have a tradition of grilling for our New Years dinner :(.

The amenities at the house were perfect for a large group, from the pool table, ping pong table with plenty of room to spread out. Great kitchen too.

This property is more like a lodge than a cabin. We went with 5 couples and each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom was was a huge plus for picking this place. My only minor complaint is that the upper deck is currently under construction and isn't allowed for guest use (as it states in the listing). There is a lower deck that has the hot tub, but the barbecue is on the top deck which is locked. It would have been nice to use the grill for a few meals, but the kitchen stove top also has a gas grill that we were able to use. Plenty of games and activities to keep everyone entertained and we never really felt a need to leave the house during our stay. It was easy access to Northstar Ski Resort with a shuttle that picks up and drops off from basically the front door. The hot water was a little in short supply with as many people that we had using it, but the heated floors throughout the home made up for it.

The property was wonderful, the managers were very responsive. We had a great stay!

We had a mixture of family members including small children and this house fit us all! Beautiful setting and nicely decorated. Had a great stay.

Overall the place was as described and fit our needs perfectly. Nice mountain escape with a few bear sightings.

This home was absolutely perfect for a Tahoe getaway weekend for my father in-law’s birthday. We had a large group - and felt very comfortable in the space, with plenty of areas to spread out and relax. The house was very clean and absolutely gorgeous. Each of the bedrooms had their own full bath. The pool table was a wonderful addition, and helped us pass the time. Despite the rainy/snowy weather we felt cozy and entertained in our rental. Would definitely recommend for future trips - and especially for large groups.
