This charming cabin tucked away in a secluded neighborhood just south of Big Bear Lake has ‘romantic getaway’ written all over it! While quaint, everything you need to create the perfect couple’s vacation is right here at your fingertips. In just a 5-minute walk you can be at the lake where you can spend a day at the beach soaking up the plentiful California sunshine, hiking or biking all around the shoreline, renting a boat, kayak, or canoe for your own personal tour of the water, or spending a quiet afternoon fishing for your evening’s dinner. In the winter, this area is an immensely popular destination for skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing, offering several resorts to choose from for any skill level. In fact, you’re within a 5-minute car ride from the home to Snow Summit, ready to fulfill all of your desired snow-themed desires. For a more leisurely pace through the powder, the area also includes several cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails. If city life is more your thing, Big Bear Lake has a variety of restaurants and shops to dine and browse where you can leave the car behind and wander around for hours.

After days spent out and about, come home to Cozy Cabin Hideaway to relax in the warmth of the wood fireplace, queueing up your favorite show or movie on the mounted smart TV. The modern interior has been carefully curated with your comfort in mind, so whether you’re reclining on the bed or lounging on the sofa, relaxation is on the menu. The chic, galley kitchen is fully equipped with all major appliances, cookware, and dining ware to help you plan and prep meals right at home, and you can enjoy your hard-earned fare at the café table with seating for 2.

This studio cabin comfortably sleeps 2 guests in a spacious king size bed with fresh linens and soft blankets for a great night’s sleep. The home’s full guest bathroom includes a single vanity and glass walk-in shower.

- To ensure compliance with local city and county regulations, every individual, regardless of age (including infants and children), is included in the total occupancy count. Reservations exceeding the maximum allowed occupancy for this property cannot be accepted.
- Driveway parking available for 1 vehicle only, directly in front of the cabin.
- Pet friendly! 1 pet maximum, dogs only. An additional fee of $35 per day will be included in your final booking cost. To pay your pet fee, please contact the Customer Care Team after booking. To avoid fines, please keep your pet on a leash and pick up after your pet.

Immersed in nature, this little village provides all the best of lake life in the mountains of the San Bernardino National Forest. The recreational activities in this area, such as hiking, biking, skiing, and fishing, maintain Mother Nature as the premier attraction, although shopping, dining, and live entertainment can be enjoyed in The Village.

This location is also ideal for its close proximity to nearby Big Bear Mountain Resort with thrilling ski runs in the winter and serviced mountain biking, the Scenic Sky Chair, and 9 holes of golf to enjoy during the offseason. The resort is just minutes away with 26 lifts, 55 runs, and options for every experience level. Non-skiers can get their thrill with high-speed tubing down the slopes. Big Bear’s 3 snowtubing locations (Alpine Slide, Big Bear Snow Play, and Grizzly Ridge Tube Park) are equipped with moving walkways which carry you to the top of the tubing runs. These fun-filled locations feature year-round options as well with summer tubing, mountain coaster ride, ropes course, waterslides, and more.

House rules

  1. HOUSE RULES: IMPORTANT - must read before booking!
  2. - ARRIVAL TIME: 4:00 PM
  3. - DEPARTURE TIME: 10:00 AM
  4. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the City of Big Bear Lake’s Good Neighbor Policy and the property management’s rules before finalizing your reservation. The City of Big Bear Lake and Property Management can evict unruly guests who blatantly disregard the following rules without a refund. The minimum fine for violating the stated rules is $500 per violation and $1000 for the second and each additional violation. All guests at the time of booking acknowledge and agree to follow all house rules, neighborhood rules, and city laws and ordinances.
  5. - CHECK IN: The City of Big Bear Lake requires in-person check-in with a valid ID and a signed agreement of the Good Neighbor Policy from the person who made the reservation. This is not optional, and you can incur a minimum $500 fine from the City of Big Bear Lake if you ignore this step. Thank you for keeping us compliant with the rules. You will receive your access information at the time of check-in.
  6. - OCCUPANCY: Do not exceed maximum occupancy at any time during your stay. Children are counted in total occupancy. You may not have additional guests during the day. You must be 21 years old or older to book this property.
  7. - PARKING: Street and yard parking is NOT allowed, please park in the driveway (or garage). or you will be fined $500 for the first citation and $1000 for each subsequent violation. Your vehicle may be towed at your own expense. 4WD, AWD, and chains are required for travel during the winter months. You will need them to access the property during the winter months.
  8. - NO EVENTS OR PARTIES ALLOWED
  9. - NO SMOKING, NO VAPING, NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES
  10. - NO UNAUTHORIZED PET: This home can accommodate up to 2 licensed dogs. Please notify us ahead of time if you plan to bring your furry friend. We charge $35 per night, per dog and you MUST pay the pet fee prior to arrival. They must be licensed, leashed outdoors, stay off the furniture, and never be left unattended. We supply bags for you to pick up your dog’s waste. You are responsible for all pet-related damage.
  11. - NOISE CURFEW: This home is in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Please respect the neighbors' privacy. The noise curfew is strictly enforced between 10 pm to 7 am, this includes spa usage. Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7.
  12. - TRAVEL INSURANCE: We strongly advise you to purchase travel insurance, as we do NOT refund for COVID, inclement weather, road closures, evacuations, power outages, bugs, pollen, etc.
  13. - WINTER INFO: During the winter months, Caltrans requires all vehicles to carry chains, including 4WD and AWD vehicles. You will need 4WD, AWD, or chains to access the property and parking areas. The driveway will be clear of snow for your arrival to the best of our ability. There are shovels to use for your departure should it snow during your stay. Firewood is not provided for homes with a wood burning fireplace, please verify if your home has a wood or gas fireplace as wood cannot be used on all fireplaces and may cause damage. Power outages can occur and are a risk when visiting Big Bear.
  14. - AIR CONDITIONING: Most mountain homes do NOT have air conditioning. Please inquire before you book if it’s important to you.
  15. - HIGH FIRE RISK: San Bernardino Mountains is a high-risk area. Fireworks, wood fire pits, improper disposal of cigarette butts, charcoal BBQs are prohibited. You will be fined and/or prosecuted.
  16. - WILDLIFE/MOUNTAIN LIFE: Bears, deer, donkeys, racoons, squirrels, mice, spiders, bats, flies, moths, ants, and other wildlife frequent this area so make sure to lock up the property and your vehicle. We utilize pest control services to control indoor pests as much as possible, but they exist in the mountains! We will not refund for wildlife in or near the home. Please keep doors closed to keep them from coming inside.
  17. - DAMAGE WAIVER: Your booking includes an Accidental Damage Waiver which covers you for anything seen as accidental. You will be charged for anything seen as neglectful or intentional. It is best to report all damage to us when it occurs so we may correct it for the next guest. Please be respectful of our home.
  18. - SECURITY/CAMERAS: This home has a security system, exterior cameras and/or noise decibel monitoring systems to ensure your safety. There are no interior cameras.
  19. - GUEST SATISFACTION: Grand Welcome inspects the property prior to your arrival. If you have any issues, please contact us so we can handle them when you are here to ensure your stay exceeds your expectations. We will make every reasonable effort to efficiently make the repair. If we are alerted to issues after checking out, you will not be refunded so it is important to report them right away.
  20. - REVIEWS: We work hard to earn your 5-star review and appreciate your feedback.
  21. - BE RESPONSIBLE: This cabin is privately owned. The homeowner and property manager are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occur; damage to, or theft or loss of personal items (if found, shipping is at your expense, minimum of $25); wild or domestic animals in the area; and acts of nature.
