Mammoth has year-round adventures to spark the imagination. Mammoth Lakes, together with June Lake is host to skiers and snowboarders in winter and fisherman, hikers and mountain bikers during the summer. Every season is spectacular. Mammoth Mountain has one of the longest ski seasons in the US with ample snow November through May. World-class trout fishing season begins May-November and you don’t want to miss the fall, when bursts of color emerge as the leaves turn in late September/early October. Mammoth is a truly magical adventure land for outdoor enthusiasts.
Before joining Grand Welcome, Carlos spent 28 years as a manager in the restaurant business. Upon moving to the Mammoth Lakes area, he wanted to broaden his scope within the hospitality industry and Grand Welcome was an ideal fit for his next chapter. He started at the front desk, then advanced to Housekeeping Manager, eventually making his way up the ladder to his current General Manager position at the Mammoth Office. He has a hands-on management style and enjoys working with our property owners and works hard to exceed their expectations. Carlos loves to take advantage of the beautiful scenery and the activities the area has to offer. He enjoys walking the trails and taking his boat out fishing.
Alejandra joined Grand Welcome in 2018, starting her career with the company at the front desk. She eventually advanced to Housekeeping Manager in June of 2020 and currently holds that position. She enjoys living in Mammoth Lakes and has a great appreciation for the surrounding beauty that can be enjoyed all throughout the year.
