Joel spent the first part of his career in education after earning a Bachelor’s degree from Rhodes College and a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Mississippi. He then transitioned into the real estate and is now a licensed realtor.
He’s active in the local community, serving as a board chair for Si Se Puede Schools, an organization that seeks to provide quality education for underserved communities. He’s also part of the UT Marine Science Center’s advisory board and a member on the Port Aransas ISD Facilities Committee.
Joel stays active and enjoys surfing, skiing, writing, music, travel, and spending time with his wife and their five children.
He’s passionate about making a positive impact on those around him and looks forward to providing Port A homeowners and guests with premium service.
