Kahala

If you are searching for an Oahu vacation rental that offers a little more privacy and outside of the hustle and bustle of Honolulu, Kahala is a great option.  Kahala is an upscale community with secluded beaches, easy access to Diamond Head, and several other attractions.

Kahala makes for a great destination for an Oahu vacation rental obviously for its upscale homes and breathtaking oceanfront views.  Nonetheless, there are several attractions nearby that call visitors to the area. Diamond Head Crater resides just down the road from Kahala –  offering a great hike resulting in a stunning view of Waikiki and the ocean. If you are interested in water activities Wai’alea Beach Park is close by and suitable for surfing and windsurfing.  Please note this beach park may not be suitable for swimming due to the reef on the ocean floor. The park has lush grassy areas making for a memorable picnic at sunset.

Have you ever swam with dolphins?  Dolphin Quest is a nearby experience in Kahala where guests can learn about and swim with dolphins.  This is a must do experience especially if you are traveling with kids. If you need a break from the Hawaiian sun there is also the Kahala Mall with a wide variety of stores and restaurants.
