Hiking

Explore Oahu’s natural beauty by taking a hike.  All of Oahu’s hiking trails reveal some of the best ocean views and lush mountain scenery.  Here are a couple of our favorites we recommend trying out during your vacation.

Diamond Head Crater

This is one of Oahu’s most renowned landmarks and a great activity the whole family can enjoy.  The trail takes about 30 minutes to reach the top where hikers will encounter stairs, tunnels, and old military bunkers before peaking to the sweeping views of the blue ocean and downtown Honolulu.

Manoa Falls

Follow a beautiful lush trail through rainforests of bamboo trees to a rewarding sight of Manoa Falls.  The short hike is 1.6 miles round trip where you will travel over a bridge surrounded by thick greenery and up some man made stairs before standing before the cascade of water.

Makapu’u Point Lighthouse

Stroll 1.5 miles up paved pathways leading to 2 observation points.  This southern coast trail reveals panoramic views of the crystal blue ocean, lush greenery, downtown, and the Makapu’u Lighthouse.  The historic red roof built in 1909 is a stunning sight with the Pacific Ocean at its backdrop.
