Fishing Seasons in Key Largo

Depending on the time of year, Key Largo offers a variety of fishing opportunities.

The spring season (March through May) is when ballyhoo, blackfin tuna, mahi-mahi and sailfish are in abundance.

During the summer season (June through August), there is good potential to catch wahoo, kingfish, barracuda and other often sought-after species.

The fall season (September through November) brings an array of pelagics including marlin , barracuda, blue marlin and sailfish.

Lastly, wintertime provides excellent opportunities for snapper and grouper.
