Causeway beaches

As you approach the island from Punta Rassa, you’ll drive over the Sanibel Causeway. The three-span, two-lane bridge crosses San Carlos Bay with two manmade islands in between. Besides being the gateway to Sanibel, the causeway is home to some very nice beaches on those manmade islands.
