Centrally Located but Not Walking Distance to Beach
by SusanThe community is well maintained. The interior of the condo is beautiful. The title is very misleading - "Walking Distance to Beach"- it's 2 miles to the beach. I expected it to be a 5-10 minute walk with that title. I chose this listing based on that. When vacationing in a beach town, I don't want the hassle of driving to the beach and looking for parking. There were some issues with the cleanliness & maintenance that I expressed to Guest Services in a reply to their text with me hours after we checked in. They said someone would contact me ASAP. My vacation is over and still no one has reached out. It's a moot point now. Grand Welcome needs to work on their customer service.All in all we had a great week in family friendly Rehoboth. The condo is centrally located to Lewes and Bethany Beach where we took day trips to. Cape Henlopen State Park offers biking (complimentary loaners with park admission), hiking and the beach all in one place. Taco Reho and the Crystal Diner are both delicious food options. Jungle Jim's is a fun way to cool off. There is outlet shopping nearby for those rainy days. Something for everyone!
