The following information is provided to make your stay as smooth and carefree as possible. Please read these rules and regulations carefully before booking and let us know if you have any questions!

This once short-term rental is now a 30+ day rental home due to the passing of Measure T, which banned short-term rentals within the city limits of South Lake Tahoe. This home is efficiently priced, making the 30-day rental a better option than booking several weekend reservations. Here, you only have to pay booking and service fees once. A true home away from home, you can be in and out of this property at your leisure, knowing the space is completely yours to enjoy.

REQUIREMENTS TO BOOK
• Must be 25 years or older
• $2,000 refundable security deposit
• Booking confirmation via phone call with local manager
• A quick walk through of the home will be required every 30 days, to be scheduled on your time

HOME CARE
Home cleanings, hot tub cleanings, and snow shoveling are scheduled on an as needed basis, requested by you. Please text our local team to schedule and please allow up to 24 hours for scheduling times.

TAHOE RENTAL ORDINANCES:
The following laws were set forth by the county and apply to every home in Tahoe. They were put in place to keep Lake Tahoe an enjoyable and safe place to visit for years to come!
7. 10pm - 8am hours are quiet time for all rentals as determined by the county.
8. Trash cannot be left outside and must go into the bear box.
9. We cannot host extra people above the permitted number of guests or allow parties on the premises.
10. We cannot accommodate extra cars on the property. Parking on the street and dirt is prohibited.
11. If your home has a hot tub, please enjoy it until 10pm at which time hot tubs are no longer allowed to be used.

PLEASE NOTE: Noise levels are closely monitored in Tahoe and neighbors may alert the police in the event of excessive noise. Fines will be issued to guests found in violation of noise regulations. In order to protect the homeowner permit, we reserve the right to ask guests to leave in the event of noise complaints.

IMPORTANT INFO:
• QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD: Nestled away in nature, Tahoe at night becomes very peaceful and quiet. As a result, we can only host groups that respect Tahoe's county appointed quiet hours. Our guests generally have no issues abiding by these rules, simply head inside or to the casinos by 10pm. We appreciate your understanding!
• KEEP TAHOE BLUE: Please help us keep Tahoe a natural wonder by appropriately disposing of trash when visiting our beaches and trails. If you pack it in, please pack it out.
• TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance as we typically do not offer refunds in the event of covid, smoke, fires, weather, snowstorms, road closures, etc.
• WINTER TRAVEL ADVISORY: After the historic winter season of 2023, we recommend travelling with 4WD vehicles, equipped with snow tires and tire chains. Drivers should have experience with snowy conditions. Tahoe roads are icy and power outages are common. Please always wear snow boots and walk with care on icy pathways.
• BBQ/DECKS IN WINTER: Due to snow levels and freezing temps, BBQs are not serviced and decks are not shoveled during the winter. But if you can dig it out and there is propane - feel free to use outdoor spaces.
• LATE CHECK OUT: Please let us know 24 hours prior to check out if you wish to request a late check out time. The first hour is free, followed by a $25/hour fee with check out time not to exceed 1pm. Please note our cleaners sometimes travel as far as 1 hour to clean your home, so we ask that you please respect the 10am check out time unless otherwise requested.
• HIGH FIRE RISK: Lake Tahoe is a high-risk fire area. Fireworks, wood fire pits, smoking/improper disposal of cigarette butts, and charcoal BBQs are prohibited.
• BLACK BEARS: Black bears inhabit Lake Tahoe and are attracted to food and trash. Always lock your car doors, roll up windows, and view bears from afar. Please do not feed the bears.
• TOWELS: We supply one bath towel and one wash cloth per occupant, as well as one hand towel per bathroom.
• SECURITY: Most of our homes have exterior-only security cameras and noise decibel monitoring systems to ensure we are in compliance with the county ordinance, but we take our guests' privacy VERY seriously. There are never indoor cameras. Most cameras are only in use to monitor snow and noise levels, plus a little bear watching.
• MOUNTAIN CRITTERS: Any time you’re staying at a Tahoe home, it’s not uncommon to find little mountain mice, spiders, spider webs, ants, mosquitos, etc. Our homes have on-going extermination services but despite our best efforts, these little critters might make their way inside. If found, it doesn’t mean a home is dirty, it’s simply life in Tahoe! Please let us know if you find any critters and we will promptly mitigate.
• REVIEWS: We genuinely value your input and appreciate constructive feedback that can help us enhance our offerings. WINTER TRAVEL ADVISORY
A storm in Tahoe can drop up to 2 feet or more in 24 hours so if you haven’t been to Tahoe during a heavy Winter, please take note. The roads and driveways in Tahoe are only plowed when snow accumulates to more than 6 inches so if it snowed less than that or you are coming during an active storm, you will arrive to snow on the roads leading up to this home AND on the driveway. Since street parking is not allowed during the Winter, you will need to drive over the snow either using chains or with your 4WD engaged (or both) and onto the driveway. There are also shovels provided for shoveling. Especially after the historic Winter of 2023, we do not recommend coming to Tahoe unless you have a higher clearance 4WD vehicle with snow tires, tire chains and experience driving in the snow. Always bring chains no matter what kind of car you have. Even if it’s not actively snowing, Tahoe roads are steep and icy. Power outages are also common. The Grand Welcome difference is we have a very experienced local team who are here to help you during your stay – as long as safety allows. If we can get to you, we will come help! Not all hosts have this kind of local support so this is the benefit to booking a Grand Welcome home!

* CONTACT US: Our preferred method of contact is through the app via messaging. In case there is a delay in response time, we also have a dedicated local team on stand by for your needs who work daily 9am to 5pm. If during those times a problem arises, please text them directly. We will email you their phone number. They prefer to text as they are in the field with limited cell service most of the time. After 5pm, please message us on the app or call our customer care team.

A comfortable scenic stay

We enjoyed our month's stay at Tahoe Keys Tranquility. the view was spectacular and very restful. It was entertaining to watch the boats come and go in the marina. The condo was well equipped. Kitchen stocked with plenty of pots and pans, etc. Family room furniture and carpet are worn, but still comfortable. A brand new washer/dryer was a delight. A TV in every bedroom plus family room; A set of directions was needed. We are used to Cable so ROKU was difficult. Grand Welcome, the management company was very helpful and sent a man out to instruct us. Guests must sign up for their apps for the time they are there. Grand Welcome also immediately sent out a repair man when the sink clogged. Important to know that as a renter you must pay for the use of the facilities, but it was worth it. Loved the indoor Olympic pool, just a 3 minute walk.

It was super comfortable and quiet. Easy access to town. The only thing I wish I would have known is to bring your own wood for the fire place. There wasn’t any and I wasn’t informed of that. But that’s the only thing I can say otherwise definitely recommend and was super clean and comfortable!!
