Breathtaking views!

This home was just about perfect for the multigenerational needs of our group. The view was absolutely beautiful, better than we expected. The beds were all very comfortable. The layout of the home is very unique, and it is well documented in the reviews here. The kitchen is very well stocked, and the management team was very responsive. The home is nestled within a beautiful and safe residential neighborhood. The pool is not heated, and that would have made our stay perfect! It does appear that there is a heater, but it was not in use during our visit. We were in Kona during late December/early January. Pool water temperatures were in the lower 70\'s, while daytime temps were in the low 80\'s. We really enjoyed lounging by the pool, as well as enjoying the views!

Amazing view!

Listing should be a 5 bed/3 bath plus 2 half bath and outdoor shower. The layout is funky but it was fine for our close knit group. Better privacy in the bathrooms is my only complaint. Actual solid doors and better window coverings. Patio and pool area are fantastic and everything you could possibly need is provided. A noisy neighbor with dogs but the pool waterfall drowns them out during the day. And that view!

Very ono

Million dollar view, especially the sunset. The place us huge, and the pool is awesome. Management team was very responsive, and we were able to get a late checkout which helped us out a lot! I highly recommend this place for a family adventure!

Kona Christmas

Property was great. Took a while to figure out the lighting! The stove top is quirky and is either too hot or shuts off. Oven heats quickly. The washers and dryers were a huge help. Kids loved the pool. We have a wonderful time.

Perfect for our group.

This was the perfect house for our group (8 women/girls trip). We loved the incredible and expansive view and large lanai/pill deck area. We spent most of our time on lanai enjoy the view and sharing laughs. The kitchen is large and well equipped. We cooked almost every meal at the house and loved the expansive kitchen and fabulous organization (label maker is this owners friend). This place is definitely funky and may not work for some parties/families. Please note that the three bedrooms on the main living area do not have walls that go to the ceiling. So if your inside, sound is basically in their bedrooms. for families with small children those bedrooms may be challenging. For us it didn’t really matter and like I said we spent most of our time on the lanai. The house is in a wonderful neighborhood and we took a vantage of daily walks and nearby trail.

Fabulous Hawaii vacation house

Two families with 6 kids ranging in ages from 6 - 16, stayed here for 10 magical days. The house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood close to Kona, beaches and excursions. The house is very well appointed. In the kitchen and bathrooms. The showstopper is the view. Sipping cocktails by the pool, watching the kids splash in the pool while the sun painted the sky in spectacular colors as it set, was the highlight of every day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. A few things to note. The walls of the main floor do not reach the ceiling, making for a lack of privacy for those using the master bedroom/bathroom. Being close friends, this did not impact our stay at all. Also, three of the bedrooms are not accessible from the main living space, but rather from the large upstairs veranda or taking the outdoor stairs down to the pool level. Again, this worked well for our group especially since the two downstairs rooms had their own bathrooms. There is a convenient half bath and outdoor shower by the pool as well. Overall, this was a terrific stay and we were super sad to leave. Thank you!

Perfect for a large family!

The house was amazing with unbeatable views. Inquire about the room arrangement and bathrooms before booking depending on whether you have small children or multiple families. The downstairs two bedrooms might not be ideal for young children because they are separate from the main house and can only be accessed by going outside and down the side stairs. The same applies to a third bedroom on the upper level. In the main house there is the master and a bedroom with twins. The kitchen is huge and fully stocked. The pool heater was broken on our trip so unfortunately we couldn’t all use the pool because it was very cold but normally you can request the heater to be turned on for an additional daily fee. We still loved our time there and the management was very helpful and responsive. We would love to return!

Hawaii holiday

Wonderful home for our group of eight in Hawaii. So well equipped. Gorgeous sunsets. Great location. The bathroom arrangement on the main floor is very odd. Three bedrooms on this floor but only one very "public" tub and shower in the master bedroom. The lack of privacy is commented in the guest book many times.

Hawaiian Sunset Paradise

This house was perfect for our group as it meant we each had our own bedrooms. The downstairs bedrooms (poolside) have their own ensuites. The upstairs rooms are a little less private but we had no problem whatsoever. The open roof concept allowed for fresh air throughout the house at all times. We had all of our meals on the covered, spacious deck in front of the huge, well-equipped kitchen. We named the deck area in front of the master bedroom "the Sunset Bar" as the views were like none we had never seen before. Perhaps it was because the house is up from the beach that the sunsets were spectacular every night. Another bonus of the location is to be away from the chaos of the strip along the beach. 10 days went by quickly with morning trips, afternoon pool breaks, "Sunset Bar" drinks and meals prepared either in the kitchen or on the bbq. Also, the house was very clean when we arrived. It was very hard to leave our piece of paradise.

A Wonderful Family Vacation

We stayed at the Outrigger Paradise with our family (two sons and their wives and four grandchildren, ages 7-14). It was a perfect house for the ten of us. We enjoyed the view and the use of the private pool. The grandkids were often in the pool. With five bedrooms and plentiful bathrooms it never seemed overcrowded. The upstairs kitchen is part of the spacious great room and very well equipped. We ate the majority of our meals at the house. Drawers are well labeled so it is easy to find what you need.

Our week was a wonderful mix of swimming, reading and playing games at the house as well as trips to the beach, volcano, coffee farm, and a snorkel cruise. The house is in a convenient location in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is a reasonable distance to the town of Kailua-Kona and other shopping such as Costco and Safeway.

Our whole family agreed it would be wonderful to come back again!
