Welcome to Mountain Oaks! Tucked away in a private, serene neighborhood in Breckenridge, this one is a charming family-friendly getaway! Spend days shopping, dining and foraging through Downtown Breckenridge or choose to stay indoors and savor the host of facilities. For the skiers and snowboarders, this home is just over three miles from the slopes!
Highland Greens are highly sought-after properties that offer a free, private shuttle in the ski season that is exclusive to guests of the complex. Get to and from the slopes quickly and with ease as the shuttle picks up every hour at the end of the driveway and proceeds on this continuous loop. The 4 stops are the Gondola which serves Peaks 7 and 8, the Snowflake Lift, the Base of Peak 9, and Town.
The townhome's living room welcomes you with high ceilings, a flat screen TV, and cozy gas fireplace. From here, you can access the back deck, furnished with a BBQ, hot tub and an al-fresco dining table, perfect to bask in the warm sun.
The kitchen is well equipped with a slow cooker, drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, and more. Cook up delicious homemade meals for you and your family and gather around the dining table for 7. Additional seating can be found by the breakfast bar for 4.
On the 2nd floor, you'll find 3 bedrooms.
- Bedroom 1 is the master, with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom. The large en-suite bathroom has dual sinks, a soaking tub, and a standing shower.
- Bedroom 2 has a queen-size bed.
- Bedroom 3 has 2 twin XL beds. There is a shared full bathroom on the 2nd floor.
- Bedroom 4 is on the 1st floor and has a twin over full bunk bed, great for the kids! The 3rd full bathroom is next to this room.

There are 2 garage and 2 driveway parking spots.
A washer/dryer is available.
The ski shuttle is seasonal and dates of operation may not match the resort's calendar.
Head to Breckenridge Golf Club, teeming with swaying mountain views, restaurants, shops and a clubhouse.
In the warmer months, explore a flurry of hiking trails and biking paths, visit local breweries and enjoy al-fresco dining. Indulge in a host of adventure activities like whitewater rafting, ziplining, paddle boarding and kayaking. Then when it cools and the snow starts to fall, the options are endless - skiing, snowboarding, ice-skating, snowmobiling, and more are all within reach.
This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.

Excellent location, excellent service

We enjoyed our time at the property. We also learned about "mud season" which starts in mid-May when the ski slopes shut down, as do many of the shops and restaurants (until early June). Mud season also seems to be road construction season.
The bedrooms are large and comfortable. In case the property description isn't clear, both bedrooms are upstairs, with one bathroom on each floor. The upper and lower balconies face east, toward town, which helps keep the afternoon sun out. The condo was quiet even though it was only a block from downtown, with the only sound being that of the river below our window. Our only issues were a few minor maintenance items, which management resolved the next day.

Summer in Breckenridge

This was our first time visiting Breckenridge in the summer. My husband, myself and 2 college age children enjoyed the location. It was close to the gondola and very close to downtown bars and restaurants. We barely used the car, except for going on hikes. The bedrooms worked out perfectly. The kitchen was small, would be hard for 2 people to cook, but that didn’t detour us as we mainly ate out. The owner was kind enough to leave shampoo, conditioner and soap. Also dish detergent and soap for the dishwasher. We can’t wait to come back in the winter and enjoy the slopes. Thanks for a great stay.

Awesome location, clean and nice with great balconies. Sound of blue river fantastic. Great communication, friendly people. Only proble is no air conditioner. A bit warm in summer. Hard to cool off first night. Town doesn’t open up activities until end of June.

Great location just outside of downtown Breck

We had ample space for 2 families, each with 2 teenage boys. The shuttle that ran to town was awesome since parking to ski was often full. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Hot tub was clean and so nice after a day of skiing!

Great Get-away

The shuttle service to Breck was great and if you drove it was less than 10min. Great location and easy drive to Cooper or Keystone (as we did ski these 2 places as well). Lots of bed space and there is even a sofa sleeper which is not noted. Humidifiers for every room which was GREAT during the ski season. 3 full bathrooms was also a plus. Great neighborhood! We recommend the place as the price was very fair for all you got.

Good spot, no frills!

Had a couple minor hiccups, the heat didn't work the first night, the vanity lighting went out in the downstairs bathroom, and the freezer froze shut....but that said, all those things were immediately remedied by property management without interruption to our stay.
I wish the place came with a 2nd parking spot because finding overnight parking is a pain in the rear.
Overall, I'd still give the 5 stars because it was a good place, great location, and overall a smooth process.

Lovely place to stay

A wonderful place to stay with a few people. The bedrooms are large and spacious. The upstairs had a bathroom with a tub/shower with vanities in the 2 bedrooms. Bedrooms are very spacious. The living area looks larger in the pictures. It was a little cramped with 4 adults. The kitchen is tiny with only room for 1 to move around. We spent most of the time out and about, so size was not a problem for us. We would definitely stay there again.
