Is there anything better than life on the lake? We don’t think so! Welcome to Lakin’ it Easy, a gorgeous home 10 minutes walking distance from the lake, with all the bells and whistles to make your stay in Truckee memorable. The home boasts panoramic views of Donner Lake from multiple decks and is outfitted with a hot tub, outdoor entertaining space, and an interior that may just inspire you to do some redecorating. The home on its own is perfection, but the location truly makes this property a no-brainer with outdoor attractions accessible in every direction!

Come inside and you’ll immediately see what all the fuss is about! The main living floor is the heart of the home with an open-concept layout and inviting atmosphere. Expect beams of natural light from large windows throughout. The living area features a large purple sectional with complimenting art and a TV.

The kitchen is equipped with a full suite of stainless steel appliances and everything you’ll need to whip up tasty meals from home. A large island with 3 barstools serves as additional prep space or a “breakfast” bar to serve up casual meals. For more formal dining, a table for 7 is just steps away.

Before we head to the bedrooms, there’s no way we can pass by the outdoor living. Between 2 large decks, guests can enjoy a covered hot tub, gas grill, and patio furniture – all while taking in million-dollar views of the lake.

Back inside, there are 4 bedrooms that sleep up to 10 guests comfortably between 7 beds. Each space is furnished with luxe linens to ensure everyone has a restful stay.

Bedroom #1, the primary bedroom, is outfitted with a King bed, TV, and en-suite. The en-suite highlights a double vanity with a gorgeous marble countertop and a shower/tub combo with matching furnishings.

Bedroom #2 is configured with a Twin-over-Twin bunk bed and trundle, sleeping 3 guests total.

Bedroom #3 is furnished with a Queen bed and features a custom headboard of skis.

Bedroom #4 offers a Full-over-Queen bunk bed allowing plenty of space for multiple guests if needed.

In addition to the primary en-suite, there’s an extra full-bathroom and half-bathroom to serve guests.

THINGS TO NOTE:

-Dogs allowed only (1 over 60 lbs or 2 small dogs under 50 lbs) with a fee, the owner is highly allergic to cats and they strictly not allowed.

- Four-wheel drive and either all-season tires or snow tires will be needed in the winter months to access the driveway and surrounding areas in heavy snowfall.

- Interstate 80 is in close proximity to the property so it’s possible to detect background noise when outside.

Truckee is a small town in Northern California with some big-time soul becoming a hotspot for outdoor enthusiasts because of its access to an endless list of recreational attractions. The major draw of this particular property is its access to Donner Lake, a freshwater lake that offers some of the biggest trout in the state. In addition to fishing, the lake is open to both powerboats and sailboats. Hugging the southeast of the lake is Donner Memorial State Park, which offers an array of activities all year round. If you’re looking to hike, there are several trailheads within a 10-20 minute drive from the property. Those who love to golf are also in luck, Coyote Moon Golf Course and Tahoe Donner Golf Course are 2 superb options that can be reached in less than 5 miles. Historic Downtown Truckee is a 10-minute drive where you can enjoy shopping, dining, and historic walking tours. In under 25-minutes, you can be at Northstar California Resort, a popular destination for avid skiers and mountain bikers that offers additional offerings such as; spas, pools, kids camp, and more! A drive to picturesque Lake Tahoe is 25-minutes.

Smoking is never allowed inside or outside the property.
Parties or events of any kind are not allowed.
