Inside this cozy home you’ll find exactly everything you need to maximize your downtime between adventures. The living room offers a plush L-shaped sofa perfect for kicking up your feet to stream all your favorite shows and movies on the smart TV. The stylish kitchen showcases retro-inspired appliances, a farm sink, and cabinetry stocked with cookware and dining ware. You’ll find a chic table for 2 back in the living room for all your dining needs whether unpacking takeout from a local restaurant or simply enjoying a quiet moment with your morning cup of coffee.

This home comfortably sleeps 2 guests in a private bedroom including a luxurious queen size bed fitted with crisp linens and soft blankets for a great night’s sleep. The full bathroom includes a single vanity and walk-in shower.

THINGS TO NOTE:
• Washer and dryer in home.
• Driveway parking for 1 vehicle. Street parking is not permitted. The driveway is shared with the guest in the back bungalow.
• Pet friendly! Maximum 1 pet allowed. A daily pet fee of $35 will be required in addition to your final booking cost. To pay your pet fee, please contact the Customer Care Team after booking. Pets are not to be left at the property by themselves.
• This home is equipped with one (1) outdoor security camera, mounted on the back unit of the duplex, actively monitoring the driveway.

Within less than 5 minutes you can be at lake where you can hike or bike the shores, rent a boat, kayak, or canoe for a day out on the water, or cast a line out with the hopes of catching the evening’s dinner. In the winter, this area is an immensely popular destination for skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing, offering several resorts to choose from for any skill level. In You’ll be just 8 miles from Snow Summit, ready to help you fulfill all of your desired snow-themed adventure desires. For a more leisurely pace through the powder, the area also includes several cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails. After a day of exploration, unwind together with a soothing couples’ massage at one of the area's luxurious spas, or indulge in a romantic dinner at a cozy lakeside restaurant, savoring delicious cuisine and fine wine as you watch the sunset over the mountains.

For a quiet retreat away from urban hustle and bustle, it doesn't get any better than Big Bear. Immersed in nature, this little village provides all the best of lake life in the mountains of the San Bernardino National Forest. The recreational activities in this area, such as hiking, biking, skiing, and fishing, maintain Mother Nature as the premier attraction, although shopping, dining, and live entertainment can be enjoyed in The Village.

This location is also ideal for its close proximity to nearby Big Bear Mountain Resort with thrilling ski runs in the winter and serviced mountain biking, the Scenic Sky Chair, and 9 holes of golf to enjoy during the offseason. The resort is just minutes away with 26 lifts, 55 runs, and options for every experience level. Non-skiers can get their thrill with high-speed tubing down the slopes. Big Bear’s 3 snowtubing locations (Alpine Slide, Big Bear Snow Play, and Grizzly Ridge Tube Park) are equipped with moving walkways which carry you to the top of the tubing runs. House rules

  1. HOUSE RULES: IMPORTANT - must read before booking!
  2. - ARRIVAL TIME: 4:00 PM
  3. - DEPARTURE TIME: 10:00 AM
  4. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the City of Big Bear Lake’s Good Neighbor Guide (Guest Email and House Rules - Big Bear Lake 92315.docx) and the property management’s rules before finalizing your reservation.
  5. The City of Big Bear Lake and Property Management can evict unruly guests who blatantly disregard any rules or regulations without a refund. The minimum fine for violating the stated rules is $500 per violation, $1000 for the second, and $1500 for the third violation. All guests at the time of booking acknowledge and agree to follow all house rules, neighborhood rules, and city laws and ordinances.
  6. - OCCUPANCY: Do not exceed maximum occupancy at any time during your stay. Children are counted in total occupancy. You may not have additional guests during the day. You must be 21 years old or older to book this property.
  7. - PARKING: Street and yard parking is NOT allowed, please park in the driveway (or garage) or you will be fined $500 for the first citation and $1000 for each subsequent violation. Your vehicle may be towed at your own expense. Caltrans requires all vehicles to carry chains during the winter months. 4WD and AWD are preferred and may be needed to access the driveway during the winter months.
  8. - NO EVENTS OR PARTIES ALLOWED.
  9. - NO SMOKING, NO VAPING, NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES
  10. - Pet friendly, maximum of 1 pet allowed. There is a daily fee of $35, please contact the Customer Care team after booking to make the payment. Pets cannot be left at the property by themselves.
  11. - NOISE CURFEW: This home is in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Please respect our neighbors. The noise curfew is strictly enforced between 10 pm to 8 am, this includes spa usage. Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7.
  12. - TRAVEL INSURANCE: Please purchase travel insurance, as we do NOT refund for COVID, sicknesses, inclement weather, road closures, evacuations, power outages, bugs, pollen, etc. Again, there are NO refunds unless you purchase travel insurance.
  13. - WINTER INFO: During the winter months, Caltrans requires all vehicles to carry chains, including 4WD and AWD vehicles. You may need 4WD, AWD, or chains to access the driveway. The driveway will be clear of snow for your arrival to the best of our ability and street parking is NOT allowed. There are shovels to use for your departure should it snow during your stay. Firewood is not provided. Power outages can occur and are a risk when visiting Big Bear. We do not offer refunds for power outages or lack of access due to snow.
  14. - AIR CONDITIONING: Most mountain homes do NOT have air conditioning. Please inquire before you book if it’s important to you.
  15. - HIGH FIRE RISK: San Bernardino Mountains is a high-risk area. Fireworks, wood fire pits, improper disposal of cigarette butts, charcoal BBQs are prohibited. You will be fined and/or prosecuted. Please take this seriously.
  16. - WILDLIFE/MOUNTAIN LIFE: Bears, deer, donkeys, mountain lions, racoons, squirrels, mice, rats, spiders, bats, flies, moths, ants, and other wildlife frequent this area so make sure to lock up the property and your vehicle. We utilize pest control services to control indoor pests as much as possible, but they exist in the mountains! We will NOT refund for wildlife in or near the home. Please keep doors closed to keep them from coming inside.
  17. - DAMAGE WAIVER: Your booking includes an Accidental Damage Waiver which covers you for anything seen as accidental. You will be charged for anything seen as neglectful or intentional. It is best to report all damage to us when it occurs so we may correct it for the next guest. Please be respectful of our home and we understand that accidents do happen.
  18. - SECURITY/CAMERAS: This home has a security system, exterior cameras and a noise decibel monitoring system to ensure your safety. There may be exterior recordings. There are absolutely no interior cameras.
  19. - GUEST SATISFACTION: Grand Welcome inspects every property prior to your arrival. If you have any issues, please contact us so we can handle them when you are here to ensure your stay exceeds your expectations. We will make every reasonable effort to efficiently make the repair. If we are alerted to issues after checking out, you will not be refunded so it is important to report them right away.

  21. - BE RESPONSIBLE: This cabin is privately owned. The homeowner and property manager are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occur; damage to, or theft or loss of personal items (if found, shipping is at your expense, minimum of $50); wild or domestic animals in the area; and acts of nature.
