Southern Utah Hot Spots for Outdoor Adventure

The beautiful region of southwestern Utah boasts three national parks, all of which are worth dedicated trips to visit. Apart from the national parks are a number of cities, national monuments, and state parks that are perfect for day trips or extended stays alike.

The national parks of Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Capitol Reef (pictured) are as unique in scenery and experience from one another as they are splendid. Regardless of time of year, these parks offer a wide range of activities to take advantage of.

Zion National Park is the #1 park destination in Utah, and for good reason. This thousand-foot red rock canyon boasts dramatic views and provides visitors with almost every outdoor activity imaginable.

With its rugged, alpine forest terrain, Bryce Canyon offers sweeping landscape and is home to dozens of species of birds and mammals that avid  photographers will love to capture.

Not to be outdone by the cliffs and stone of Zion and Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef brings its own unique sense of beauty and wonder, where visitors can enjoy a slower-paced experience away from the packed crowds.

The cities of Boulder, Cedar City, Escalante, East Zion, and several more feature rich histories all of their own coupled with a variety of shopping, dining, and nightlife that cater to any type of traveler.
