Smoky Mountain Winterfest

While many think of the Smoky Mountain region as best visited in the warmer months, it remains spectacular even throughout the winter months. Smoky Mountain Winterfest in Pigeon Forge runs from November through February, with events planned virtually every single day.

40-foot-high trees lined with holiday lights decorate the area and surround an illuminated fountain choreographed to music, presenting an incredible show all on its own. 

Light tours by trolley, sleigh, Jeep or bus will take you through over an additional 5 million glittering holiday lights in and around the city. Enjoy live music from local and national artists both indoors and out, and holiday shows ranging from comedy, to theater, a horse show, and even a lumberjack feud.

Simply stroll through the town and take in the sights with a cup of warm hot chocolate, or celebrate with other visitors and locals alike in this unique and fun festival.
