Kolea 14F is nestled along tranquil blue waters and soft sand beaches of Anaeho'omalu Bay (A-BAY). Ideal for families or for individuals who enjoy gracious, exclusive vacation residences, Kolea Villas offers luxurious accommodations for discerning guests. This vacation home has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms spacious enough to house up to 5 guests.

Each room features modern and island decor creating a Hawaiian atmosphere. The gourmet kitchen has everything a chef could need. Stainless steel appliances and ample granite countertops are prepared for home cooking. 2 guests can enjoy sitting at the built-in breakfast bar. Call everyone to the dining table with seating for 6 to enjoy a meal together.

A BBQ and kitchenette are assembled on the private lanai to make this happen. A patio dining table is arranged with seating for 5 - so you can dine, drink, and unwind while enjoying the coastal breeze.

Leave the lanai doors open to allow the fresh air inside while you sink into the plush seating options. A large flat screen TV with DVD player are ready to show you a movie at the end of the night. Central air conditioning, a washer/dryer, stereo, and WIFI are provided for your convenience. The couch also functions as a sofa sleeper for additional space.

The master bedroom has a luxurious California King-sized bed, TV, and an attached bathroom. The master bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub, ideal for relaxing, a standalone shower, and vanity. The second bedroom is suitable for accommodating the kids as it has two Twin-sized beds and a TV. The guest bathroom has a shower/tub combo.

Kolea is a gated community located on the Big Island in Anaeho'omalu Bay ("A-Bay"), home to giant sea turtles and a playground of migrating whales. With the only private beach access in the Waikoloa resort area, Kolea rests amidst palms and ancient fish ponds near the water's edge where Mauna Kea, the world's highest island mountain, meets the ocean. From the expected, an infinity edge pool and concierge services, to the unexpected, like a private beach club, the Kolea experience is one of privilege and perfection.

Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested.   2. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area.
  3. Guest vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area.
  4. The STVR shall not be used for commercial purposes.
  5. Smoking is never allowed inside or outside the property.
  6. Parties or events of any kind are not allowed.

Great place but management company could be better

Loved the condo and the complex it was in. The accommodations were perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). The location was perfect - walking distance to shops and restaurants and easy to get around to other areas of the island. While the condo and complex were great we had a couple issues. The worst being that they shampooed the carpeting right before we got there and it was still terribly wet when we arrived, making the whole place smell like a wet dog. Unfortunately, there was no prior notice of this, nor did the management company acknowledge or help to deal with it and it smelled that way for days. The gas grill was also out of propane when we arrived and while they did replace the tank after we reached out, they never notified us that it was happening or when it would happen, so we had to follow up multiple times. We would definitely stay here again but we were disappointed with the lack of communication by Grand Welcome.

Nice and spacious

Great location. Convenient access to beach. Close to restaurants and shops. The unit is located on the 3rd floor but there is an elevator. It is very clean and spacious. It had a nice terrace with a view where we ate breakfast everyday. Beds were comfy. Kitchen had most of the things we needed. Overall, a great place to stay for a family with kids.

We love the layout of the condo, the location, and the amenities provided. There's accessibility to the beach and a pool within a block's walking distance. It's extremely peaceful and clean. The grounds are kept immaculately groomed. Other guests are respectful.

Excellent Place to Stay

We had five people and found this to be an excellent place to stay. The walk to the pool area (also excellent) is about a block and the beach is about a block beyond that. The condo is large and comfortable. Our fifth person had the couch hide-a-bed; no complaints, but the couch itself looked comfier. Be aware of 3 things: 1) It’s hard to find the right building if you arrive in the dark. There’s good signage around, but it’s not lit well at night. 2) The covered parking for this unit runs parallel to the building. There’s another area that runs kind of perpendicular to the building, but that’s for building 15, not 14. 3) Some rentals have a lot of staples (oil, salt, etc.) in the kitchen, but this one did not when we were there. Overall, this was an amazing and convenient place to stay that provided us with a week of luxury.

We love staying in Kolea! It is a beautiful property! Unit 14F is actually very well appointed: everything we needed in kitchen, all appliances provided (nice blender & coffee maker) even little items like: seran wrap, foil, baggies, some spices and coffee filters. However when I asked Property Manager (prior to departure) what beach items the condo had available for our use (beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, cooler etc) they replied to my email, “no, owner does not provide anything other than bath towels and a basic welcome kit of toilet paper, soap. If you require more you will need to bring your own.” This was quite disappointing as we’d never stayed in a Kolea condo that did not have such items full stocked and available for our use. So I rented items in advance and checked a bag with beach towels. . However, upon arrival ALL of those items were found right there in the condo closet/cupboard: 2 beach chairs, 1 umbrella, 2 boogie boards and 6 beach towels.So for those renting 14F, the owner HAS INDEED gone out of their way to make your stay comfortable both while in the condo and while enjoying the beautiful beaches. I recommend Property Manager make a quick visit to ALL their properties so they may provide accurate information to renters. We would definitely renter this unit again.

Nice, but interior, 2BR Kolea condo

Kolea is our favorite place to stay on the big island. Chill pool & hot tub. No crowds. Balconies with grills. Easy access to a nice beach. Proximity to restaurants and services. This condo is nicely decorated, equipped and well maintained. The management company called to make sure everything was OK. In the past we'd always stayed in 3BRs, which are 2 to a floor and have lots of exterior windows. This time, with only 2 of us, we booked a 2BR without thinking about how the buildings are arranged. As we learned, the two "interior" 2BR units (DEFGHJ) on each floor have no windows in the kitchen/living area except the pocket doors, and fewer bedroom windows. Still a nice condo, but if windows are important to you find an exterior 2BR.

Great place, super location

Beautiful!

We had a lovely time and staying at the Kolea Village condos was a great choice! Short walk to the beach and a lovely partial view of the ocean. A very short walking distance to A Bay and the village restaurant and shops. We would definitely stay here again. Great beach for the kids and a short drive to Hapuna beach.
