Beautiful and clean space, amazing location. Instructions for check in and check out procedures were clear, and host very responsive. Cute decorations and the guest book was the perfect touch! Would definitely stay again when visiting Tampa.

Amazing location! Such a beautiful neighborhood. Best location just steps from Hyde Park. Small (cozy?) home but the location tops everything. House had everything you’d need…but maybe could’ve had more toilet paper and toiletries (or told us to bring our own). We’d absolutely stay again (family of four with a 3 year old and 9 year old). Highly recommend!

Nice place very close to shops, coffee shops, and restaurants. Plus, it was only a 1/2 mile walk to the Bayshore path to see the water. Lovely place.

We had an amazing stay ! The only down part was trying to find the location of the Airbnb cause maps directions wasn’t accurate . However everything was good.

Great location/house and communications with the host were very helpful. Given the street is not accessible by car, I would suggest they provide directions on how to locate the hidden driveway to access the house to make it easier for the renter to find.

Overall, our stay was good. We loved the convenient location. It was walkable to Hyde Park village, which was a huge plus! We did not utilize the upstairs bedroom and I would not want to because the stairwell was steep and there were signs to “watch your head” making it challenging for anyone who is tall. I can’t imagine navigating those stairs in the night! Also, the parking behind the house is suitable for only one car, not two, as it is marketed. However, there were many positives about the house. For example, the kitchen and bathroom were nice and we loved the front porch and the new furniture out there. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this to one couple, but feel that it would be too cramped for two, knowing you had to share one bathroom which was hard to access from upstairs, as I mentioned.

First, you can't beat the location. So convenient to everything in Tampa. very safe and secure. The home definitely has the old Florida bungalow feel to it while having modern amenities-- a great mix and it is unique. minor but we felt unnecessary issues: The couch is broken. we sent a photo to confirm we did not cause the damage and the host was aware. So they knowingly have broken furniture. This was a problem because it's the only lounge space. We were traveling with an infant so we did need to spend time at home-- and unfortunately for me that was spent on the straight-backed swivel chair in the living room. the comfort level in the living room could be enhanced to provide a better stay-- not just usable but comfortable. Second, the host advised of an AC repair for Saturday, access would need given by us-- very surprised when they showed up Friday as we were about to leave for the day's activities, Causing us to scramble and change plans for both that day and the next.

Regarding the couch, it has been fully repaired in the past and while there is some sagging on one side (which we acknowledged), it does not impact the functionality or comfort, and we want to clarify that it’s still perfectly usable. In fact, there’s a whole other section of the couch that comfortably accommodates 2-3 people, so we’re sorry if this caused any discomfort during your stay. We do our best to maintain the home furniture included. As for the AC repair, we do apologize for the timing of the visit. While the majority of the repair was done outside, there were minimal tasks that required access to the inside. We made sure to inform you that your presence wasn’t necessary, but we understand how it might have disrupted your plans. We aim to address any maintenance issues promptly, and most guests are grateful for quicker resolutions. We appreciate your understanding and hope you'll have nothing but amazing stays in the future.

We had an amazing stay. Easily accessible and more private than we expected. Restaurant, Starbucks and other retailers close by. In town for work and this was the perfect place to stay!

This is tough one to review. The location is nice, in a safe historic community. Other than the house being musty (either the age of the house or dampness from recent storms) and the arrival temperature at 78 degrees, we enjoyed our stay. If I was aware of the following requirements below ahead of booking, I would have unfortunately passed on this property. There are details that need to be listed on Vrbo explaining the requirements outside of the Vrbo agreement that you will be responsible for after your Vrbo booking and payment. The property is managed by "Grand Welcome" which requires you to digitally sign a 30 page rental agreement. A lawyer would probably tell you not to sign this given the details, however it was too late to cancel and book another property. "Grand Welcome" also uses a service called "Superhog" which makes you send a picture of your drivers license and submit a selfie photo before they will send the arrival instructions and entry code. I have used Vrbo several times before and this is the first time I have had to deal with these requirements. I understand the owner wants to protect their property, but I really felt stuck at the last minute with signing and sending this legal and personal information that I can only hope is protected adequately.
