Hale Lanikai Ocean View Retreat

We loved our stay at this condo! The property is stunning—beautifully maintained with great pools and a magical little rock beach for kids under six. It’s a safe, stress-free spot for families, and having a bar nearby is a bonus! The lagoon beach feels like a Caribbean escape in Hawaii. However, the unit itself was disappointing. The mattresses were in terrible shape—lumpy and sagging. We reported it, and while the owners tried to help, nothing was resolved during our stay. I even slept on a camping pad on the floor. If booking, check reviews for better-maintained units. Check-in and checkout were also frustrating. At checkout, Maria at the front desk was overly strict about key returns, with an unnecessary scolding tone. Mahalo? That said, we had an amazing trip! The building is fantastic—just be selective with your unit choice.

Ko Olina is such a beautiful place and this suite had an incredible view of the pool area, gardens and ocean. The suite was very clean and appropriately stocked with linens and dishes, and some beach items. We were looking for a relaxing get-away near the beach and this place did not disappoint.

The most impressive feature of the property was the incredible ocean and grounds view from the patio. We were on the 11th floor the ocean was directly in front. The unit itself was very large. Loved the kitchen. There were too many light switch’s and honestly we had trouble turning lights off and on. The furniture was a little. Dated. And the mattress in the master bedroom was uncomfortable. Over all this was a very beautiful resort. Location was safe. Would recommend this unit to friends
