This blue-roofed A-frame sits on a wooded lot along the river in La Pine, south of Bend. The main cabin has a king bedroom and a loft with 2 queen beds. The detached Bunk House, a short walk across the yard, adds a log king bed, a full-over-full bunk, and its own Smart TV. Up to two dogs are welcome, and the driveway fits three vehicles.

The back deck gets plenty of sun and looks across the meadow to the river, so it’s a natural spot for morning coffee. A path leads down to the water’s edge, where you can sit and watch the river or look for wildlife. The firepit sits out in the open between the cabin and the river, with room for the whole group to gather around. Out front, a wraparound porch greets you on arrival.

The great room is built around a woodstove and the tall A-frame windows, which frame the forest outside. It opens to the dining area and kitchen, so the space works for the whole group at once. There’s a Smart TV for movie nights, and a sliding door goes straight out to the deck.

The kitchen has knotty-pine cabinets, a granite breakfast bar with seating for 3, and an island with plenty of counter space for big group meals. It flows right into the dining nook, where a table for 6 sits by sliding glass doors with views of the trees.
