Where Wildwood Ends – A-Frame Cabin

Inside, settle into the living room, where the wood-burning fireplace creates a natural gathering spot, with a TV and stereo system for entertainment. The kitchen’s blue cabinetry, appliances, cookware, and dishes make it easy to prepare meals, while the dining table seats up to six and the kitchen counter offers room for four more. When it’s time to step outside, enjoy the deck’s outdoor seating and unwind with a soak in the private hot tub.

This home comfortably sleeps 6 guests between 3 private bedrooms.

Bedroom #1 includes a queen-size bed.

Bedroom #2 includes two twin-size beds.

Bedroom #3 includes a queen-size bed.

This home has 2 full bathrooms. Bathroom #1 is located on the first floor and includes a shower/tub combo. Bathroom #2 is located on the second floor and includes a walk-in shower.

Things to Note:
- A washer and dryer are available for guest use.
- Street parking is available for 2 vehicles. Please park on the paved road in front of the house. Do not park in the dirt driveway next to the house, as it is not easily accessible.
- The loft area is not accessible to guests and will remain locked.
- A $60 hot tub fee is charged separately. Please confirm payment instructions before arrival.
- A 2-night minimum stay applies, increasing to 3 nights during holidays.
- (3) exterior security cameras are located around the home: (1) in front of the house below the deck, (1) above the front door, and (1) above the back door.

Carnelian Bay offers access to Lake Tahoe’s outdoor activities throughout the year. In warmer months, visitors can enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding, and time at nearby beaches, while forest trails offer opportunities for hiking. During winter, nearby Northstar California Resort and Diamond Peak provide options for skiing and snowboarding, with cross-country skiing and snowshoeing available in the surrounding area.

- PETS: There are no pets allowed.
- AGE: Primary renter must be 25+ years old
- QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD: In Tahoe it’s so quiet at night that you can hear a pin drop! As a result, we can only host quieter groups that will abide by all the county laws. Quiet hours are designated from 9 p.m. - 8 a.m. and will be strictly enforced. Noise that is “an unreasonable annoyance or nuisance to neighbors(s)” is prohibited after 10 PM.
- Outdoor lights must be out after 10 PM to enjoy the mountain stars and minimize light pollution.
- FURNITURE: Do not move or rearrange the furniture.
- PARKING: Parking vehicles off the pavement, on other person’s property/driveway, or on access easements is prohibited.
- EVENTS & CAMPING: Parties or events of any kind are not allowed. Camping on private residences is prohibited, including tents, carts, RVs, etc.
- KEEP TAHOE BLUE: Please help us keep Tahoe a natural wonder by appropriately disposing of trash when visiting our beaches and trails. If you pack it in, please pack it out.
- FIRE SAFETY/SMOKING: Lake Tahoe is a high-risk fire area. Fireworks, wood fire pits, smoking/improper disposal of cigarette butts and charcoal bbq’s are prohibited. Smoking is strictly prohibited on the property, Tahoe Donner facilities, parking lots, and open spaces.
- LATE CHECK OUT: Requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in arranging. Please note our cleaners sometimes travel for up to 1 hour to clean this home so we ask that you please respect the 10am check out time.
