🚗 Parking, Safety & Notes
• Parking is available for 2 vehicles in the driveway. Parking passes are required and are located in the home. Please display in vehicles for the duration of your stay.
• Access to Sea Ranch outdoor pools is offered through the community. Hours, availability, and seasonality may vary.
• Stairs to loft sleeping area may not suit all mobility needs
• Dryer temporarily out of order; parts on order, no ETA (washer available)
• This home is not pet friendly. If there is found evidence of an animal's presence during your stay or post check-out, guests will be charged an additional cleaning fee.
• Check-in time is 4:00 PM and checkout time is 10:00 AM.

- No events, parties, or group gatherings unless pre-approved.
- Vacation rental use only.
- Check-In/Check-Out: Early check-in requests within 24 hours of arrival. Late check-out requests by 10 AM the day before departure. Early check-in and late check-out may incur a fee up to $100.
- Occupancy: Follow city occupancy rules; children under 2 not counted. Over-occupancy incurs a $500 fine per extra person.
- Quiet Hours: 9 PM – 7 AM; noise under 60 dBA. $500 fine for noise violations.
- Property Inspection: Notify us of any issues immediately. We may inspect at any time for rule violations.
- Pets: This home is not pet friendly. If there is found evidence of an animal's presence during your stay or post check-out, guests will be charged an additional cleaning fee.
- Cleaning: Remove trash upon check-out. Extra trash incurs a $150 fee.
- Utilities & Appliances: Normal utility usage included. Excessive use could incur additional fees. Use appliances as intended.
- Parking: Follow local parking rules. Fines for violations.
- Safety & Security: No illegal activities or hazardous materials. Properties may have surveillance.
- Maintenance: Report issues promptly. No refunds for mechanical failures.
- Payments & Deposits: Major credit card required. Security deposit may be used for damages.
- Lost & Found: $25 minimum shipping cost for lost items.
- Legal: Violation of rules may result in eviction without refund. By booking, you agree to all rules and regulations.

Kathleen’s place was by far the best spot I’ve stayed at in Sea Ranch. It was even better than the photos. Beautiful interior design, immaculate kitchenware, a great location, and so much coziness. It’s only a few minutes down to the chapel with easy access to the beach walk and the community center. It’s also about a 15min ish drive to Gualala! Make sure to book a sesh at the swimming pool or tennis court through the community center. It’s magical like a movie scene on a lovely sunny day. Kathleen is very thoughtful, friendly, and responsive too. She was really respectful and nice when I asked to extend my stay, even though it didn’t work out because it’s already fully booked :) There’s no microwave which is the one downside, but I really enjoyed spending a lot of time in the kitchen so it honestly didn’t bother me much. Won’t be able to get over the view through the windows while cooking. I feel lucky to have found her place and will definitely be back!

The absolute perfect retreat in Sea Ranch. So thoughtfully designed, cozy yet expansive, and well located from the bluffs and Tide pool beach. We loved sitting by the windows at pretty much all hours of the day. Kathleen was super helpful during our stay and we would recommend staying here for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a one of a kind community.

The Sea Ranch home was a wonderful rental. The location is peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature and ocean. The community has several recreation centers with pools, tennis/pickleball, and other amenities. Nature trails abound. The home was just lovely. Cozy, clean, and well-appointed. The loft bedroom was spacious, sunny and large. 2BDR/2Bath plus a study was surprisingly more space than envisioned. We cooked a lot in the kitchen. The home was exactly as described. Kathleen was responsive and had good, local advice (we hired a Yoga instructor to come each morning for sunrise Yoga, thanks to Kathleen's help).

Great spot and it’s at the Sea Ranch - can’t go wrong. Heads up: the dryer is out of order and there isn’t a convenient alternative. Additionally, the owner states there are no cooking supplies (oils, spices, etc.) but there are plenty left from previous guests. Save some money and use the olive oil in the pantry.

This is a very special place, even by Sea Ranch standards. We've stayed at a few houses, and this one is by far our favorite. What really struck us is the owners' love of the little things; we spent a lot of our time just gazing out the window enjoying the view or browsing beautiful art books, which in turn resulted in reduced screen time 😊. The location is perfect: very private but in a livelier part of Sea Ranch, so it feels less remote. Make sure you check out the Sea Ranch Lodge and any events they may have during your stay. One thing worth mentioning is that there is no microwave: not a big deal, but plan accordingly (we would've taken our instant-pot =)). If the opportunity presents itself, we'll definitely stay here again.

Overall a lovely property. A short stroll straight down to the beach. The property was decorated fabulously. Parking passes are an added bonus for the area. The bed & bath linens were comfy and clean. Plenty of light in the space. More than ample space in the kitchen. Tasteful dish-ware, glass-ware & table linens in the kitchen for an extended stay, along with a great breville espresso/coffee machine with built in grinder. The office space works well if you’d plan to work from your stay. It was more room than the two of us needed. Would be great for a small family as well. We would happily stay at the surf’s whisperer cozy home again.
