You'll be a 25 minute drive from 3 ski resorts: Northstar, Sugar Bowl and Borreal Mountain! Pick up groceries at Safeway for delicious meals at home or check out the local eateries in Truckee like Old Town Tap or Zuri Coffee.

There are 2 spacious living rooms with endless amenities to keep you entertained. The main living room has a 49" Smart TV, gas fireplace, piano, and comfortable seating. The living room has French doors that lead to the large wrap around deck with a gas BBQ grill and amazing views of the forest/mountains.

The game room has a basketball hoop, poker table, TV, and gas fireplace. After a long day on the slopes, gather around with some hot cocoa and friendly competition.

The spacious kitchen features marble countertops and a breakfast nook by the windows. It is well equipped with a Kitchen Aid mixer, coffee maker, toaster oven, blender, and more! Enjoy cooking up large dinners and making popcorn for your friends and family! The dining table is just steps away for 8.

The master bedroom has a comfortable King bed, 32" Smart TV, and an en suite bathroom. Open up the doors to the balcony and wake up to crisp mountain air. The 2nd and 3rd bedroom both have Queen beds and a TV. The last bedroom has 2 Full beds, great for the kids!

There is a laundry room available with a washer and dryer for longer stays. There is plenty of parking for 3 cars in the driveway and 2 in the garage!

Our cleaners travel from great lengths and have tight schedules and therefore will arrive right at 10am. Failure to abide our check-out policy may result in fees.

QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD: In Tahoe it’s so quiet at night that you can hear a pin drop! As a result, we can only host quieter groups that will abide by all the county laws. Quiet hours are designated from 9 p.m. - 8 a.m. and will be strictly enforced. Noise that is “an unreasonable annoyance or nuisance to neighbors(s)” is prohibited after 10 PM.
Outdoor lights must be out after 10 PM to enjoy the mountain stars and minimize light pollution.
FURNITURE: Do not move or rearrange the furniture.
PARKING: Parking vehicles off the pavement, on other person’s property/driveway, or on access easements is prohibited.
DRONES: Drone use on Tahoe Donner property, including open space, is prohibited.
EVENTS & CAMPING: Parties or events of any kind are not allowed. Camping on private residences is prohibited, including tents, carts, RVs, etc.
KEEP TAHOE BLUE: Please help us keep Tahoe a natural wonder by appropriately disposing of trash when visiting our beaches and trails. If you pack it in, please pack it out. Do not leave trash in garage or house, place inside bear box.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend that all of our lovely guests purchase travel insurance as we normally do not refund for Covid, smoke, fires, weather, snowstorms, road closures, etc.
WINTER TRAVEL ADVISORY: Due to the potential of heavy snowfall, we recommend 4WD vehicles with snow tires, tire chains and experience driving in the snow. Tahoe roads are icy and power outages are common. Please always wear snow boots and walk with care on icy pathways.
FIRE SAFETY/SMOKING: Lake Tahoe is a high-risk fire area. Fireworks, wood fire pits, smoking/improper disposal of cigarette butts and charcoal bbq’s are prohibited. Smoking is strictly prohibited on the property, Tahoe Donner facilities, parking lots, and open spaces.
TOWELS: We supply one bath towel, one wash cloth per occupant and then one hand towel per bathroom.
SECURITY: Most of our homes have exterior-only security cameras and noise decibel monitoring systems to ensure we are in compliance with the county ordinance, but we take our guests' privacy very seriously. There are never indoor cameras. Most owners only look to see bears and snow levels at their homes.
MOUNTAIN CRITTERS: It’s not uncommon at any home in Tahoe to find little mountain mice, spiders, spider webs, ants, mosquitoes, etc. Our homes have on-going extermination services but despite our best efforts, these little critters might make their way inside. If found it doesn’t mean a home is dirty, let us know and we will do our best to mitigate such findings.
BE BEAR AWARE - Tahoe is bear country—secure food and lock vehicles. Do not leave garbage or food of any kind outside the home. Trash must be locked up in your bear-proof container, never in your neighbor’s container, or dumped anywhere in Tahoe Donner.
