Cradled by the northern shore of Lake Tahoe in Nevada’s Incline Village, Tranquil Tumbleweed is an idyllic getaway for families and adventure-seekers alike. Glade skiing, lush hike trails, swanky casinos and a world-famous Shakespeare theater festival are only some of the major attractions nearby.

Combining the rustic charm of a ski cabin with the luxuries of modern travel, the home oozes a charming vibe. The living area boasts dewy white walls, glossy wooden flooring and tasteful decor. A crackling fireplace is perfect for leisurely times indoors, as is the comfy seating area around the smart TV. The room opens onto a sprawling gazebo, offering a BBQ, 6-seater al-fresco dining table and scenic views of the landscapes.

The kitchen is bright and roomy, with white countertops and wooden cabinetry. Stainless-steel appliances include a coffee maker, blender, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, oven, refrigerator and wine ware. Enjoy a casual round of drinks on the 3 bar stools available or tuck in for an intimate family meal at the 6-seater indoor dining table.

There’s a lounge area with a TV, foosball table and bookshelf to keep you entertained.

The home accommodates 7 guests in 3 bedrooms, all with lush views of the outdoors.

Bedroom #1 has a queen-size bed and smart TV.
Bedroom #2 comes with a king-size bed and smart TV.
Bedroom #3 features a twin bunk bed and a full size bed.

There are 3 bathrooms - 2 with walk-in showers, and one with a shower/tub combo.

Blessed with an enviable location, the home is only a 12-minute drive from Diamond Peak Ski Resort. With miles of inviting runs, majestic views of Lake Tahoe and rugged snowy peaks in the backdrop, it is a paradise for ski lovers.

Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in arranging.

SMOKING: Smoking is never allowed inside or outside the property.
PARTIES/EVENTS: Parties or events of any kind are not allowed.
PETS: Pets are not allowed.
AGE: Primary renter must be 25+ years old
QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD: In Tahoe it’s so quiet at night that you can hear a pin drop! As a result, we can only host quieter groups that will abide by all the county laws. Quiet hours are designated from 10 p.m. - 7 a.m. and will be strictly enforced. Noise that is “an unreasonable annoyance or nuisance to neighbors(s)” is prohibited after 10 PM.
Outdoor lights must be out after 10 PM to enjoy the mountain stars and minimize light pollution.
FURNITURE: Do not move or rearrange the furniture.
PARKING: Parking vehicles off the pavement, on other person’s property/driveway, or on access easements is prohibited.
EVENTS & CAMPING: Parties or events of any kind are not allowed. Camping on private residences is prohibited, including tents, carts, RVs, etc.
KEEP TAHOE BLUE: Please help us keep Tahoe a natural wonder by appropriately disposing of trash when visiting our beaches and trails. If you pack it in, please pack it out. Do not leave trash in garage or house, place inside bear box.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend that all of our lovely guests purchase travel insurance as we normally do not refund for Covid, smoke, fires, weather, snowstorms, road closures, etc.
WINTER TRAVEL ADVISORY: Due to the potential of heavy snowfall, we recommend 4WD vehicles with snow tires, tire chains and experience driving in the snow. Tahoe roads are icy and power outages are common. Please always wear snow boots and walk with care on icy pathways.
FIRE SAFETY/SMOKING: Lake Tahoe is a high-risk fire area. Fireworks, wood fire pits, smoking/improper disposal of cigarette butts and charcoal bbq’s are prohibited. Smoking is strictly prohibited on the property, parking lots, and open spaces.
TOWELS: We supply one bath towel, one wash cloth per occupant and then one hand towel per bathroom.
SECURITY: Most of our homes have exterior-only security cameras and noise decibel monitoring systems to ensure we are in compliance with the county ordinance, but we take our guests' privacy very seriously. There are never indoor cameras. Most owners only look to see bears and snow levels at their homes.
MOUNTAIN CRITTERS: It’s not uncommon at any home in Tahoe to find little mountain mice, spiders, spider webs, ants, mosquitoes, etc. Our homes have on-going extermination services but despite our best efforts, these little critters might make their way inside. If found it doesn’t mean a home is dirty, let us know and we will do our best to mitigate such findings.
BE BEAR AWARE - Tahoe is bear country—secure food and lock vehicles. Do not leave garbage or food of any kind outside the home. Trash must be locked up in your bear-proof container, never in your neighbor’s container, or dumped anywhere in Tahoe Donner.
LATE CHECK-OUT - Standard check-out is at 10:00 AM. Please be mindful that our housekeeping team requires adequate time to prepare the home for arriving guests. If you would like to request a late check-out, please call (888) 919-4987 as soon as possible so we can coordinate with our team. Late check-out is not guaranteed and is subject to availability and approval. Approved late check-out fees are: 11:00 AM – Complimentary, 12:00 PM – $30, and 1:00 PM – $60. Check-outs after 1:00 PM will be charged as an additional night's stay.
