We think this is one of the best homes in South Lake Tahoe - not only is it super close to town but it has almost every amenity a Vacation Rental has to offer. Very few homes in South Lake are pet friendly, have a private hot tub, pool table and community pool. This home has all of the above!

LIVING SPACE
The 3rd floor boasts a large open living room, dining room, kitchen and pool table area. The vaulted wood beam ceilings and stone fireplace make this area very cozy. There is a front deck with a gas bbq and a back deck with hot tub. There is also a half bathroom up here so no need to go downstairs to use the facilities.

BEDROOMS
3 out of 4 bedrooms are masters with an ensuite bathroom attached. Another rarity for Tahoe! On the 2nd floor there are 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. One has an ensuite bathroom. There is a 3rd bedroom with a King bed and ensuite bathroom on this level. Downstairs on the very bottom level there is a kids bunk room with a full bed and a twin bunk bed. This room is also a master with an ensuite bathroom. Lots of room for the whole family!

LOCATION
This home is located just past the casinos in the very desirable Lake Village community. This particular unit is at the end of the street and right next to some amazing hiking and walking trails. You are a 2 minute drive, short bike ride or $5 Uber to the casinos, the gondola where you can access Heavenly mountain and beautiful Lake Tahoe!

PLEASE NOTE
- This home is 3 stories with the main living room and kitchen on the 3rd floor so those with mobility issues be aware.
- This home is a duplex condo so there are shared walls with the unit next door. Please be courteous and keep noise down. This unit is the right unit.
- This home does not have AC and the upstairs main level can get warm during July/August.
- Parking passes can be picked up at the HOA office daily until 8pm. Parking for 3 cars total.
- Lake Village is the HOA name so please visit their website for the most up-to-date HOA information.
- There is a loft area next to the kitchen. Please be careful when going up and down the ladder. Our guests assume any risk involved with using the ladder. The ladder can be removed and stored in the garage if you have small kids.

PET FEE
There is a $35/day pet fee per dog. 2 dogs max. Please contact as after you book to pay this fee. Thank you!

PET RULES
1. 2 Dogs max - unless otherwise approved.
2. Must pick up all poop or there may be a clean up charge.
3. Do not leave pet unattended unless in a crate (this is when damage happens).
4. Keep dogs leashed while on walks in the neighborhood.
5. Keep pets off furniture and bedding or there may be a pet hair removal charge.
6. Please do your best to wipe your pets paws when they come inside to avoid carpet stains.
**You are responsible for any and all pet related damage including carpet cleans and door scratch repair.
 
TAHOE RENTAL ORDINANCE
The following laws were set forth by the county and apply to every home in Tahoe. They were put in place to keep Lake Tahoe an enjoyable and safe place to visit for years to come! :)
1. The hot tub cannot be used after 9pm (if this home has one)
2. 9pm - 8am is the county quiet time for all rentals.
3. Trash cannot be left outside and must go into the bear box.
4. We cannot host extra people or allow parties.
5. We cannot accomodate extra cars, parking on the street or dirt.
PLEASE NOTE: If a neighbor alerts the police to any ordinance violations, they may come out and issue you a fine. In order to protect the owner’s rental permit, we do reserve the right to ask you to leave. Things rarely escalate to that level because most of our guests are lovely but it can happen. We always give our guests the benefit of the doubt and will alert you if we know a neighbor is disturbed. Please have the phone number associated with the booking available in case we need to text you. Thank you!

The home itself is in a perfect location with quick access to Heavenly Ski Resort and the lake. While the property matched the overall description, the "lived-in" details were lacking. We found hairballs on the floor from previous guests, the trash bin was already full upon arrival, the dressers were in poor condition, and there were no instructions for the fireplaces or extra towels for the hot tub. However, the management company was the most disappointing factor. Their communication is fragmented; they jump between the app and text, often losing track of previous requests or providing conflicting information. Because you speak to a different person every time, it leads to constant miscommunication and inaction. Most frustratingly, they showed zero flexibility during a severe snowstorm that closed major roads, and were unwilling to approach the owner about a date adjustment (which they classify as a policy “cancellation”), opting to prioritize the bottom line over guest safety.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The place was clean and cozy, with lots of games and activities for the house. The host was very responsive and resolved any issues quickly. The location was only a couple minutes away from Heavenly Village and it was easy to get around. We would definitely recommend!

Nice place! Cozy, charming, hot tub was a plus. Only downside was lack of towels and linens (there was also no laundry detergent provided for the wash). Communication was pretty slow and not helpful when we needed it. But overall solid rental and we still enjoyed our stay!

My guests and I were very pleased all around with our stay. We plan a trip up here every year and this cabin was my favorite I’ve chosen so far. The pictures matched the description and really showed good detail and sizing on what to expect. It was very cozy, clean, and comfy! My only complaint is that my code to get inside the residence wasn’t working so thankfully they provided an emergency code that worked. One of my friend’s complaints was that the towels provided weren’t big enough. Thank you for a great experience.

The cabin was great & had a perfect amount of space for our family! It was a bit difficult to get in touch with the host and responses were very slow/automated. Also had difficulty with clarifying pet fees and such before the actual stay began. Location was perfect! Overall was a great stay, was mostly very clean despite a few things and had very easy check in/checkout. Thanks for a great stay!

I had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect, close to restaurants, casinos and zephyr cove beach. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making check-in smooth and stress-free. This house was pet friendly, but we really expected to have a clean sheets without any hair on it. The barbecue was very dirty and we had to clean up, also garbage disposal was broken and kitchen sink was clogged. we let them know but no-one respond. Key lock wasn't working and we couldn't use keys and we had to use parking door for commute. The location was great, very quiet and peaceful.

This is my second time staying at a Grand Welcome home and the customer service is top notch! The home was nice, a bit dated and could definitely use some remodeling but things went okay. Major complaints are the towels that were provided are great for a middle schooler but not really suited to an adult; they're a bit on the smaller side. Also, the primary bedroom had a leak through the windows on the day it rained during our stay. Kitchen was fully stocked (which was great) but one of the microwaves was broken. Best part definitely how close the home was to downtown South Lake Take and the nearby lakes in the area.

Thought the unit was as described and very spacious and the pool table and hot tub were fun features The location was great, right next to a trail that was beautiful to walk through The negatives were that the keypad code was not correct and after a long drive was frustrating to wait outside until they provided a backup code Also the toaster was broken and the dishwasher kept shutting off Took several tries to find a setting that worked to run dishwasher We did enjoy our stay and thought the location was ideal for close access to attractions

We enjoyed our time at this air BNB location. I rate our stay a 4/5 for the following reasons: I thought the place would be nicer based on the photos and high cost but I was met with a "meh" vibe when we first entered the space due to lack of detail and aged asthetics. This location advertises and prides itself on offer a pool table but there is not enough space in the pool room to play an actual game, which was frustrating. The hot tub was nice and the 10pm rule was easy to follow. It was also a nice added benefit to have a grill on the front deck. I think with a little more attention to detail and moving the pool table to a different room my review would have been 5/5.

Great cozy home and very spacious. The neighborhood had a trail right next to this location. The Stateline downtown area is a few minutes away with a lot to do and the lake is also down the street. We loved everything about the place. We did have an issue with the check in code but the back up code we were given worked just fine.

Everything about the host was awesome, they responded promptly to all my questions and the whereabouts of the washer and dryer. The kitchen in this home was amazing - excellently stocked with everything you could possibly need. I rate the owners a 10 - they went above and beyond by replacing the x-box within two hours.

We found this duplex unit very comfortable for our party of six, and loves the location on the edge of a beautiful protected forest perfectfor morning walks with our dog. It is a short drive away from the Heavenly Gondola and casinos. We would definitely stay here again.
