Charming Cherokee Cabin - Secluded Stay for 6 Just 10 Minutes to Tahoe!

This is a cute little place that looks exactly like the pictures. Heed the other warnings about the shower- you've got about ten minutes before your shower runs cold, but as long as you stagger showers and don't run the dishwasher at the same time, it's quite manageable. The neighborhood is very quiet, safe, and pleasant overall. I really enjoyed my stay here.

It was a great time and space, my family and I had a great time. It's a nice quiet neighborhood. The snow in the back and front yard made it convenient to stay put and play without having to drive far. Very cozy and we would love to come back. The only minor issue I had was having to pay more for an early check in which is about $35/hr for each hour before 3pm (same for late checkout). Overall it was really a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend it for families.

place was as described. Responsive management for everything we asked. Only issue was dishwasher had an issue, they could not fix the problem when we were there. But there was a snow storm, so we did not expect someone to come and fix it. Management was kind enough to be ok with unwashed dishes to be left in sink as a result.

I stayed at this place over New Year’s holidays with my family and we absolutely loved it! Cozy, clean, warm and comfortable home: we needed it so much after whole day of skiing in Heavenly. Short walking distance to park and trails at Lake Baron - great location. We hope to come here again soon!

Beautiful place to stay at, love how private it is and you can walk around without anyone bothering you. Very peaceful and quiet, not much snow but still very pleasant. Heater was a 100% good, we loved how warm it got immediately after turning it on. Only problem was the downstairs toilet but overall was super nice.

It was our first time in Lake Tahoe. Myself, husband and 4 kids and we enjoyed our stay. The cabin is about a 10 minute drive from the main area but perfect for us when we wanted to reset and just hangout as well. The outside area is beautiful and in a nice neighborhood. The cabin had everything we needed but if we did need something, there is a Market very close by.

This was a great spot to stay, only about 20 mins from Stateline, unfortunately the listing info really made it seem like there was a hot tub from posting clear hot tub rules all over the listing, but there was a very small portion sent post booking that confirmed this location does not include it, so don’t be confused as I was with that. Otherwise great stay.

Is you are traveling to Lake Tahoe, you can’t miss this beautiful house! Great location ever — only 3-5 mins drive to Lake Tahoe Golf Course if you want to play there ;) 10 mins drive to downtown South Lake Tahoe where you can find numerous shops, restaurants, and other attractions! The host is very responsive and friendly. The kitchen is so great — my family LOVE it. 5-star recommendation :D

Location was great, private but also close to town and so many activities. We headed to Lake Tahoe's beaches and Fallen Leaf Lake, all within 15-25 min drive. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The two upstairs bedrooms were warm but opening the windows helped and there are fans in each bedroom. The hot water does run out after a few minutes but we expected that based on previous reviews. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will be coming back.

This cabin was perfect for our trip. It gave us all room to spread out and each have our own space. It was me, my husband and our two college age daughters. The beds were very clean and comfy and the cabin had everything we needed. It’s only about 15-20 mins to down town South Lake Tahoe. Also it was near plenty of shops, restaurants and stores. There is no AC but it was only 80 during the day and 57 at night so we were able to open windows and turn on fans to cool down. The hot water doesn’t last long for showers due to the amazing rainfall shower head so we just tried to spread showers out and time them well. It really wasn’t an issue since we were hot anyhow. We would definitely stay here again!

This family home was perfect in every way! This was my family’s first time in California and Tahoe. However, with all the great instructions, tips and recommendations provided by the wonderful host, we felt right at home! The house is very clean, cozy and is equipped with all of the necessary amenities to make your stay a worry free and peaceful one. The location was also perfect—quiet, pristine and a short drive away from grocery stores, pharmacy, restaurants and fun activities! well, my parents have had their house there for over 35 years so we are used to Tahoe but since my dad's place is being remodeled, we never miss an opportunity to go up to Tahoe so we found this place. It was great. Location was great house was comfy . We had a little bit of issue with the fireplace and the hot water, but they were very fast within a couple of hours to fix everything after that the day was great. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice stay as a family of four! The house was cozy yet spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. We especially enjoyed the large picnic-style kitchen table—it was perfect for both breakfast and family game time. The host was communicative and responsive throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. The only downside was the water heater—it ran out of hot water quickly, so we had to wait 1–2 hours between showers. That aside, the location was great, and we had a really nice experience overall.

Easy to find with the instructions. Place is clean and peaceful. Nice and cute wood bear at the front of the house. We really like the kitchen, it is well-equipped. If you want to cook, you can drive 3mins to the nearest market to buy ingredients. Rooms are clean and quiet, the heater is efficient. But be attention about that there is only one full bathroom can be used to take shower at downstair. Also each time, the hot water is only enough for two people to shower. The next person needs to wait at least two hours for enough hot water, so shower times need to be planned accordingly.

Nice clean cabin, a good distance from the mountains. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of space with responsive hosts. Only downside was the lack of hot water for the amount of people staying there. Even after maintenance came and fixed the hot water in the shower there was only enough for 2 people and this space is advertised for up to 6. The only other thing was the downstairs wall heaters not working but they brought us a space heater for the downstairs bedroom that kept it nice and warm.

We spending a great time at the charming cherokee cabin ,we enjoyed quality time because the cabin offered anything that you need for those great memories with family and friends that we looking for so definitely I recommended this charming cherokee cabin to make ours memories and have a great time because the cabin offered everything that we need like if you're in home because you don't need to buy anything because the cabin gives anything that we need so rent this cabin was worth it because very nice and clean cabin so we don't need anything at the cabin because everything is already in the cabin like home so we're very happy making great memories as a family at the cabin that's why we given five 🌟 because we love this cabin and we had a great time !!!!!
