This place was a lovely getaway and the house and area are very cute, convenient, and cozy. The outdoor amenities with the firepit was a plus and lots of windows for great lighting. There were a lot of spiders/bugs/cobwebs and some light fixtures did not work. Also bare minimum essentials like toilet paper/dishwasher pods/etc which we had to get ourselves. Floors and furniture could benefit from better cleaning— wearing socks in the house, they were black by the end of the day.

My trip overall went well. However there were a few things that I wasn’t pleased with. Trying to accommodate an early checkout was a hassle and was dealt with unprofessionally, ending with not getting an answer at all. Walking in the floor was extremely dirty. And there were ants and spiders all around the kitchen and in the rooms. One of the bedrooms didn’t have a light. And the fridge and oven were extremely outdated. We made a pizza in the oven and one half came out burnt and the other side raw. The same ordeal with the freezer where some parts formed icicles and other parts wouldn’t even freeze. Air didn’t circulate through the house as much as I would’ve appreciated. With all that being said the neighborhood was beautiful. I appreciated the house being extremely private. Along with the outdoor seating and amenities. I had never been to this part of the cape and was pleasantly surprised by the location. Despite my issues the house accommodated us nicely and was extremely cozy.

We had a fantastic stay! This home was perfect for a weekend getaway — cozy, clean, and ideally located. Just a short walk to the beach and Popponesset Marketplace, it couldn’t have been more convenient. Highly recommend staying here!
