We had a fantastic stay at this home. The location couldn’t be better — just two houses in from the beach, making it incredibly easy to walk back and forth throughout the day. The house was very clean and the perfect size for our family of four, with plenty of room to comfortably accommodate an even larger group. One thing we especially appreciated was the huge selection of beach toys and gear available for both kids and adults. It made our beach days so much easier and more fun. As a bonus tip for anyone staying here, Andrade’s Café by the Bay on 62nd is a hidden gem and an absolute must-visit. It’s an easy 2-minute walk and the food is fantastic. Overall, a wonderful place to stay — we would absolutely come back.

Clean house right on the beach in a safe neighborhood, and close enough to LA if you have plans in town. The hosts clearly communicate the proximity to neighbors and the upstairs tenant, so there were a few moments of noise, but we were aware of that ahead of time. Overall, a great stay and we would happily stay here again.

The home and amenities were a great place for my family to meet and enjoy stand up paddle boarding in the canal and board games in the living room. The welcome instructions say to check for supplies before purchasing— and they really had everything: all paper supplies, garbage bags, towels, extra blankets, etc. They provided more than enough to feel comfortable and at-home. The garage parking was needed if we returned in the evening. It’s three houses from the beach boardwalk. And you hear the waves when the house is quiet. It was very comfortable. There are sand berms that prevent you from seeing the ocean-I didn’t know about those before hand.

The house was in a very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed walking around the peninsula on both the beach and bay sides.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the location, steps to the beach, close to the bay and walkable to 2nd street restaurants and shops. Set up perfectly with everything needed for the beach, including plenty of beach towels, chairs, toys and even kayaks and SUPs. Very quiet neighborhood and comfortable space.

We loved our stay in Belmont shores! The peninsula was quiet and walkable to the bay and the ocean. Lots of things to do including paddleboarding and kayaking. The house provided everything we needed to enjoy the beach, including toys for the little ones! Would definitely recommend this as a great spot to stay to enjoy Southern California and we would definitely stay again!

If you and your family are looking for a great beach vacation, you don’t have to look any further. This beach cottage is your spot! Our family of five, plus my mom had such an incredible time that we are still talking about all the fun adventures we had out there. This place was clean and well taken care of and the neighbors were incredibly nice and helpful. Both beaches were easy to get to and were just steps from our place. We were able to fill up the fridge and pantry easily at Trader Joes down the street. Just make sure to grab a ton of filtered water bottles on your way out. If you’re looking to dine out too, there are so many amazing restaurants to choose from close by. This place truly thought of everything to make our experience great. They had paddle boards, kayaks in different sizes, boogie boards, sand toys, even chairs, coolers and a wagon to help us haul everything down to the beaches. We can’t wait to come back and vacation again next summer!

Our 2 night stay in this beautiful beach home on Alamitos Bay was everything I've always imagined. The 3bedrm/2bath property was less than a minute from the sand & shore. Our children (18, 15, and 5) were completely floored by the easy beach access, and they spent every available minute out enjoying the sun. From the seamless check-in, to the tasteful furnishings & decor, my first impression was that our stay was going to be amazing. As we settled in, the pleasantly well stocked kitchen, the convenient laundry room with mud sink + dryer, and the highly coveted garage parking, all solidified my choice to book. We rarely get all the comforts of home from an Airbnb. You don't realize how much you use a spatula or tong until you don't have one - and this place has both! We are grateful to have spent family time together here, and we plan to book again in the future. Collectively, we did not want to leave - so the next time will be an extended visit! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This was our 3rd time staying at this beautiful cottage & my kids love it. My twin girls have been coming since they were babies and never want to leave. The location is perfect to either enjoy the bay or the ocean. We will be coming again next year for sure. Thank you for hosting us!

We enjoyed our quick stay! The beds were VERY comfortable, decor was cute, and the close proximity to the boardwalk by the beach was a perk. The door access was a little tricky at first, but we figured it out. The hosts were super accommodating and very quick to respond to any messages! If you are looking for a spot in Long Beach, this was a great choice. If you have a large SUV, plan on street parking, but if you have a smaller car or suv, the garage was very convenient!

Wow! Such a beautiful place...very clean, SO close to the beach and Alamitos Bay. Beds were super comfortable, great water pressure, garage with water toys. Overall, just a great place in a great location.

This property was perfect for a relaxing girls' weekend!! Super close to the water, absolutely EVERYTHING you would need to enjoy the surrounding beaches, very clean, nicely appointed!!! I will mark this property a "favorite" for future trips.

So many good things to say ...First, they brought in a small Christmas tree for us we were grateful !Location is everything and it was perfect.Beds were very comfortable and the living area was large! And the couch was quite large and very comfortable Light and cheerful feeling throughout the house.......2nd bathroom was very very small.. but if you're not a big person, it will be ok.Krueg coffee maker... fyiThank you ... we loved it!

Small older beach house near the ocean. We used the beach chairs once, though the weather was cool for April. Second street has nice shops and restaurants.

What a wonderful, relaxing few days we had at this property. It is steps from the beach and bay sides of the peninsula. The home was perfect for being together as a family and enjoying the beach. There were plenty of sun, sand and water toys to keep us all busy. The A/C didn’t get very cold in the bedrooms, but I will take that as an offset to how wonderful everything else was here. I wish I had found this place years ago, I would have booked it a few times a year.

Our stay was fantastic! The place was bright and airy. When you opened the front door you could hear the sound of the waves crashing. About a mile away was another beach (Naples) i would recommend this as opposed to swimming the ocean. But a GREAT place to get away and hear the beach and relax!

What a wonderful place to vacation with the family! My family loves puzzles and we were excited to see there were a few at the house. My kids loved having a puzzle out on the table while we enjoyed our stay. We loved all the paddle boards and kayaks and couldn't get enough of the beach! We shopped at a grocery store nearby and enjoyed bbqing on the grill and really just enjoying this very comfortable and very family friendly home. The hosts were great and responded quickly to our questions. Thank you for everything, we cant wait to come back
