Responsive host and was what we needed for the weekend. The place smelled funky of cigarettes and just a few things could have been better. Overall, fine stay and host was nice about it.

The place was great! For the people giving feedback about thi fs like the toilet crack, etc: this is a charming old home. If you’re expecting pristine, modern bathrooms, etc you won’t get it. BUT if you’re looking for a house with tons of character, this is it! Extra bonus points for responsiveness and help with recommendations. Loved this place!

The place was clean. this may seem strange to say, but it SMELLED dry lol. it was quite peaceful and our host was very accommodating and responsive. the few complaints I might have I will address straight to the host as they are small and I feel that if I address these issues with the host, they will remedy them and it won't be an issue for future guests. I would absolutely stay here again.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATIONS! This place is nestled in a perfect spot 5 minutes from a handful of great restaurants. That’s both in Kentucky and Ohio. It’s also about 5 minutes from Xavier university so it would be great for visiting family. I’d recommend when you come check out jungle Jim’s which is a awesome experience and then swing over to skyline chili for dinner. All in all this was truly an amazing experience and would definitely book again.

This place has a nice balance of new and old and is very charming. Especially the upper floor. It's also on a quiet street even though it's very close to the interstate. I would recommend you have a car if staying here as it's in a neighborhood and not much in walking distance

The property is spacious and nicely decorated and has everything you need. Location is great - green, close to parks but also close to the highway. We stayed here while visiting Cincinnati Open and it was an easy 20-min drive. The owner kindly allow us to check in and check out 1 hour early for free. Communication was smooth as well.

The house was in much different condition than the pictures. The door was left wide open upon check in. The communication with the property management was excellent. They were quite responsive. While I wouldn’t stay here again I appreciated the company.

I was here on an extended visit to do training for work, and this location was just wonderful. It was easy to get to other parts of the city, and this neighborhood was beautiful, which was wonderful because we had a little dog with us! For anyone thinking about how to call dibs on the bedrooms, upstairs is a softer bed, and the main floor is on the firm end :) I would absolutely stay here again!

Such a charming place! And so close to all of the best activities in Cincinnati. Within about 10 minutes of the zoo, the museum center, Smale Riverfront Park, Washington Park, and the Cincinnati Reds home stadium! The balcony was our favorite, we spent mornings with coffee on the balcony and evenings watching the sunset with a book. Super fast internet that was perfect for remote work, super comfy furniture, and up-to-date appliances to make everything easier. The host was friendly and responsive and we did not have any issues with the house during our stay. We’ll definitely book again if we come back to the area!

Here are the main issues we had: The house and upstairs were way too warm upon arrival. Took a couple hours to cool off. It was 1:30am before the house cooled. There are no three-prong plugs in the main bedroom. So if you have charging cables with a ground (third prong), you have to get creative. The bathroom has exposed pipes behind the toilet. The tank cover on the toilet is cracked and maybe glued together. The bathtub is chipped The shower curtain is falling The toilet paper holder is falling off the wall and therefore uneven The bathroom needs to be updated The TV was logged into someone else’s profile, so we could never access the TV. The yard needed mowing desperately. Until you get close to the house, there are minimal outdoor lights. Once you get close, motion lights do turn on. The blind in the master bedroom by the bed is too short. We had to use a blanket for privacy. Upstairs rooks have no curtains or blinds. AC unit sitting on floor of the upstairs rm.

Lovely location and a great stay for the price. Very comfortable master bedroom. The attic bedroom is hot and since it's an attic, very low ceilings. I would only recommend the attic for kids...it's not comfortable to have to stoop or slouch the whole time you are up there. Otherwise, the stay was comfortable and the host was very responsive.

We enjoyed our stay in Cincinnati and were very happy with our host, Grand Welcome. The two-bedroom apartment was perfect for our needs. We had an issue with the downstairs apartment (a dog that barked non-stop when the owners were away). After three hours I decided to message the host. The host was very helpful and immediately notified the owners. We were also missing an item/amenity that was listed on the VRBO listing, and the staff took care of having the item replaced and delivered. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the cozy feel and thoughtful design of this historic home. The bed was comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and the water stayed warm. The covered balcony was a nice bonus, and in nicer weather, it would be a great spot for coffee. The neighborhood felt safe and was full of charming, well-maintained historic homes. Having off-street parking in the back was also a nice convenience. That said, the home is very old. The bathroom had a strong sewage and mildew odor, and the blinds in the main bedroom were broken, making privacy difficult. Noise carries significantly due to the wooden stairs and flooring, which is something to consider for light sleepers or guests with pets. The loft worked for a short stay with a third adult but gets stuffy. We also had some inconveniences upon arrival—the key code we were given didn’t work, so we had to call and get a generic code. Then, the WiFi wasn’t working, and I had to go into the downstairs unit to reset the router, which had been completely unplugged. Luckily, the other renters hadn’t arrived yet, so we were able to access it. While the host was very responsive, we felt these were issues that should have been checked before our stay.Overall, this place is best suited for two adults and has a lot of charm, but some maintenance and attention to detail would improve the experience.

My wife and I just moved back to Cincinnati, and this stay was a like a warm hug back home! Much more spacious than we originally expected, the upstairs is a great extra bedroom and hangout space. All the things you need. Don’t expect it to be a luxury home as it isn’t brand new- but very well taken care of, clean, and extremely responsive team. In unit laundry in the basement was a big bonus. And while we were concerned about noise/privacy with is being a duplex, we had a couple great neighbors during our stay and it was quiet and comfortable. And the neighborhood is beautiful. 10/10 would recommend!

Hi Max, Thank you so much for this wonderful review! We are so happy to hear that your stay felt like a "warm hug back home." We are delighted that you found the space more spacious than expected and that you enjoyed the extra bedroom and hangout space upstairs. It's great that you appreciated the clean and well-taken-care-of space, and the responsiveness of our team. We're thrilled you found the in-unit laundry in the basement a bonus! It's great that you found the neighbors quiet and comfortable despite being a duplex. The neighborhood is beautiful, and we're glad you enjoyed it. We're so glad you had a great stay! Very nice apartment in a safe and convenient location with easy access to downtown Cincinnati and shopping areas. I would stay here again for sure.
