Loved, loved, loved this place. I would say, it is up the mountain and the drive up was beautiful with beautiful scenery. The place itself was beautiful. A short walk within the condo park and you can watch a beautiful sunrise. Breathtaking.

The condo was great! Great views around the property and late night walks gave us the opportunity to see multiple bears. We seen bears every night we stayed at the condo. The condo was clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend this for people who like views and bears!

We enjoyed our stay a lot. It was nice to have a place to come home to after our travels. It was clean and comfortable. There were a few minor issues, such as a very strong curry smell that never really left during our two week stay, and the master bath tub didn't drain well. Pots and pans had a lot of Teflon flaking off and the stove top was uneven, making it hard to cook on. None of these were deal breakers for us, but the property could use some updates. Every time I had a question, I sent a message and received a response within an hour usually. We would definitely stay with Grand Welcome again.

Five members of my family stayed at this apartment and had a very enjoyable experience. The location is peaceful, while still being only about a 15-minute drive from most of the area's attractions and activities. We appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, the complimentary coffee, and the board games, which added to the overall experience. The host was accommodating, and the property was comfortable and relaxing. As a small suggestion, it would be helpful to provide a few additional bath towels and consider a larger or extended couch to better accommodate groups of six. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this place to others visiting the area.

Place was kind of clean. Bare minimum was provided and the place is not 5 minutes from anakeesta and other attractions. The listing for how far the attractions are not accurate. I got all chat gpt responses when texting with the person. I don’t recommend this place if you are scared of tight windy roads. The place itself was super nice but host was not very helpful and site lies about some things. One of the views were decent but it was blocked by a counter so we didn’t even see it for half the trip. Overall, the trip was fun but I do not recommend staying with this person or at this place.

The drive up to “ The Loft” is very much a series of tight uphill white-knuckle switchbacks and I was glad we had read reviews about it and brought our SUV and after awhile we were adjusted to it and were very pleased with the mountain view from the Summit parking lot especially as the sun went down and changed all the colors on Mt. LeConte. Our secluded porch faced the other way and had a nice view of the woods and adjacent higher mountain ridges . It was nice that it was Spring and the leaves were off the trees behind the unit so we could see further. My 10 year old son loved his loft bed and the spiral staircase as well as all the kids his age in the pool at night. The proportions on the pool/ hot tub are much smaller than pictured but everything else was just as presented and we enjoyed our stay away from the crowds and bustle in Gatlinburg. Condo was just as listed and had everything we needed except for the tv issue. Listing says ‘smart tvs’ but we couldn’t log into any of our apps in it or add apps so watching the Olympics and an important game to us didn’t work out. I reached out but was told that is not an amenity they offer. I usually travel with a Firestick but opted not to bring since indicated smart tvs in every room. Other than that we loved it.

This stay was okay. The cleanliness of the property was very disappointing. I found food and other items in the floors from previous stays, the blinds were nasty and had hair, dead bugs, and visible dirt stuck to them. We had to buy our own towels due to the majority of them having stains on them. Luckily we were on the 3rd floor because neither one of the patio doors would lock properly but it was still made us a little weary with a child. The communication between us and the staff was great though. Their response time was great. We enjoyed the pool.

The pictures make the living area appear larger than it is. The couch is tiny. The bedrooms are decent size. overall not too bad it is much cheaper than other options. Cabins have gotten ridiculously expensive. Takes about 20 mins. to get to town.

Hot tub was close and nice! Hours for hot tub could be extended. Unit was clean and set up nicely. Water heater needs to be a little larger for the number of people the unit can accommodate. The living room and loft were great!

Read all about this property before you book. It is on the third floor with no elevator. Also, the air filter was super dirty. Someone was supposed to come in the next day and change it and all they did was tape the rugs down so they came the next day and changed it. There was mildew in the master bedroom, shower, and one of the pots that they have for you to cook with is full of rust. To drive into Gatlinburg is like 15 to 17 minutes going down the mountain and like 20 to 25 coming up going into pigeon Forge is like 20 to 25 minutes going down and 25 to 30 to come back up.

Super nice condo, beautiful views of the mountains. Only thing was that the master bedroom did not cool down like the rest of the condo, but I brought my own fan anyway. Would recommend staying here!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! Host gave clear instructions on how to access and it was very clean. Their starter kit of TP, paper towels and trash bags were enough for this family of 5 for a 4 night stay. We love playing board games so we appreciated that there were plenty for us to play. Beds were really comfy. Not really a complaint but just a heads up, there’s no basic cooking essentials like oil, salt and pepper BUT there are tons of dishes and utensils. Would definitely recommend

The loft worked fine for our family as it was a last minute booking. As a heads up the place is quite far from town on really narrow roads and I would say the view wasn’t as good as we were hoping. We had friends staying in a different condo on the property and they had a much better view. I am guessing they also probably paid more and they definitely booked earlier than us so there’s that. There were some dead bugs around the windows and on some of the floors when we got there. Other than that the place seemed clean. We were there on spring break so the place was busy and the pool is not as big as it looks in the photos. The pool and hot tub were basically packed every time we wanted to use it so our kids didn’t swim. The hot tub was also not over 99 degs(my husband and I sat in it for 5 mins and then left because there were so many ppl around us). I would also rec’d that the place get a regular drip coffee maker (they only left us 1 Keurig cup to use so bring your own).

The condo is well decorated and clean! Has a nice view of the woods and mountains! Only issue we had was hot water for showers don't last very long so you'll want to take a quick shower! And the drive up and down the mountains gave me extremely nervous!
