Great location! We were able to walk to canyon lodge to ski and not have to worry about parking. We felt like at home and enjoyed watching the Olympics on TV after a long day skiing!

We had an amazing stay in Mammoth Lakes! The place was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and very well organized. The location was perfect, close to everything but still quiet and relaxing.

The condo was very clean and ideally situated for our needs. Everything was as listed and we enjoyed some of the complex amenities like the pool and hot tub. We did have some difficulty getting in our first night - the check-in instructions on the AirBnB app had an incorrect key code. The host was quick to respond, however, and we were able to get in without too long a wait. The only negative was that the space was smaller than it appeared in photos. We had some bumped heads on the TV in the master bedroom as the bed left little room to walk around. Similarly, the dining table was short on space because of a shoe bench taking up some walking room. For the price and convenient location, though, it was a good stay.

This is a great and cozy condo for a short or long stay at Mammoth Lakes. The condo had everything from kitchen utensils to WiFi. The quality bath towels and bed pillow-top were a plus! Check in & checkout was easy, parking was easy, and seeing a bear 🐻 while chilling on the balcony was a final touch. I would deff book this place again.

I really enjoyed satying here. The place was cozy and felt like home. The kitchen was well stocked and functional. I was surprised to see how close we were to the Canyon Lodge. It was within walking distance so that was nice. Both hot tubs we in working condition, and felt wonderful after a long day on the slopes. I would recommend this place to any one of my friend's or family. Thank you Brandon.

The location was decent—easily walkable to Canyon Lodge. If you're traveling with kids, I’d recommend unloading gear at the lodge first for convenience. The place was well-equipped, which made for a comfortable stay. The management was responsive and addressed concerns promptly. The uncovered parking and available storage were nice. Overall, a good stay with a few minor inconveniences.

We had booked another property with Grand Welcome, they cancelled our reservation 3 days before our trip. They did offer alternatives but only 1 was in a similar location and size. They stated that it would be $500 less than our original reservation. But when looking on Airbnb website it was listed for $1000 less. When asked about why there was a discrepancy, they did not have an answer. Instead of honoring the price on Airbnb, they told me they may be able to refund the difference after check in. I decided to take a full refund and rebook. This seemed to upset them and the rest of our stay they were very short and unaccommodating. Even for something as simple as extra towels to use for the hot tub. Only 4 towels for 4 people were provided for the stay, so had to use 1 towels for showering and the hot tub. I will not be booking any properties involving them in the future.

Awesome place to stay. Would 100% come back to this place if possible. 100% would recommend this place to anyone. Beds were extremely comfortable. Very homey feeling. Extremely easy 2 min walk to chair 7 for beginners. 4-5 min walk to canyon lodge Only had 1 issue It would have been nice to have had more parking. We had people coming from all over to meet at the lodge. But not enough parking for the 4 cars between the 6 of us. We were told we could park in from of the Chamonix sign but there was a sign advertising tow away zone without passes, and we didn’t want to risk it. So we had to pay extra for parking which was 75 bucks a day. Until we figured out from locals that we could park at Vons and not get ticketed or towed. So if you have extra cars it’s good to know you don’t have to pay for parking just gotta move the cars every day at Vons.

Came to go snowboarding at Mammoth and the property was just as convenient as described. Walking distance to the lifts which made it extremely easy to get straight onto the mountain. It had a nice cabin like feel that made the experience very pleasant. Overall great stay and would recommend for a group looking to go snowboarding or skiing!

Good place for the money. Needs a little attention to detail. The closet doors were falling off and the king bed in the bedroom had a weak frame that sagged. Other than that, I would recommend staying here, again, particularly for the cost as compared to other units.

Great location with five minute walk to the Canyon Lodge. Renovated and very clean; two bedrooms with one of the bedrooms on the second floor with a full bathroom which makes it very convenient and private.

The property was great, had everything we needed but the location is unmatched. We could literally walk to the lifts by canyon lodge and on top of that walk to and from the apres. This is my go to spot at mammoth.

If you ski, it’s a great location up at the top of the hill. Otherwise, decent location for hiking and being outdoors. Our apt at Chamonix, seemed a bit dated. Best part was the well equipped kitchen.

Good location. Convenient unit. Dated, but that was expected. One negative was the check in process for two reasons: 1) E-mailed access codes did not work. 2) I asked about being able to check in at 3:30 pm instead of 4 pm. Got a long e-mail saying how they will try and do their best. We showed up at 3:45. Nobody was cleaning the unit. Access codes did not work. Called the office. Were told "no, not possible, nothing we can do". "ok, fine", came back at 4:30. Access codes still did not work. After multiple calls they WERE able to open the unit remotely, i.e. they lied the first time. Then they texted us the working codes. What was the point of jerking us around?.

The condo had all the supplies we needed. It was clean and we felt safe. The bed was comfortable i had a good night sleep. The downside was during checkin had a hard time making door code work. Also would appreciate to indicate the condo on the second floor without elevator. Hard for a senior like me. Overall it was a nice stay. By the way i would also have liked if i could directly talk to the host instead of just exchanging text messages.

I have stayed at Chamonix in probably 10 different condos over the years and I prefer this one over most of the others. The updated furniture and aesthetics are nice. Only complaint is the bed in the master is a little soft for my taste. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances and cookware. Showers are in nice shape. Wish it had a wood burning fireplace but the gas one is nice, produces a lot of heat and looks good too.
