Horizons Bliss - Near Year-Round Activities!

Very responsive and kind hosts! Everything was very clean, looked like new towels for all the bathrooms and even bath mats. The sheets and pillows were very clean. Super convenient spot, you can walk to the little stores nearby, coffee, ski shops, bakery, etc. If you’re not up for a walk then it’s a 5 minute drive at most! Overall very convenient and great for a little weekend snowboarding trip with friends/family. Had lots of fun!

For the location and price compared to other condos- I would recommend this spot! The space is a great size for two couples or perhaps a small family of 5. Vons is very close and there are two bus stops within 10 minute walk to get you to the village gondola. The heaters in each room worked well, the kitchen was well equipped for basic meals, and there were plenty of towels and blankets! Amazing! There were no cleaning solutions provided to clean up general messes (besides dish soap, dishwashing detergent, and hand soap) so take note of that before going to the store if you want to clean off the kitchen counters, tables, etc after eating/living in the space. The pool table is not free to use. The jacuzzi and sauna are only open from 3pm -10pm. I thought I could skip a ski morning to relax my body in the sauna but this was a huge let down. I do still recommend this place but want to make sure future guests have clear expectations of the amenities.

Great place for the price we paid. Comfortable and clean, location is perfect for the green-line to eagle. Kitchen was good for cooking - bedroom thermostats worked well. Showers were hot and water pressure was fine! A couple of things to note/improve - some of the printed information (e.g. the wifi) is not up to date - the heating/theromstat system in the main apartment had issues while we were there, the host was very responsive but despite the issue wasn't resolved by the end of our stay - be aware of the sleeping situation being very unequal. There is a very large master room, then a small room with queen + twin + trundle (on the twin) that takes up the entire available floor. The sofa bed mattress was not good, so we made the best of the situation by putting one of us in the living room on the trundle mattress, as it was too cramped in the small room. Otherwise a great stay, thanks!

Overall our stay was very nice and pleasant. The condo itself needs to be upgraded. The beds were very uncomfortable and condo didn’t have that cozy feel compared to other condos we stayed at in the past.

The only thing great about this Airbnb was its convenient location. Thought we were going to get a great deal, but NO. The lights and heater DID NOT work in my room. Had to shower in the dark every night. The floors were sticky upon arrival. Others peoples stuff was left in the freezer. None of the TVs worked.

This place was a great air bnb to rest our head in Mammoth for 2 weeks. The condo was cozy and the host was quick to respond. The heat is a pellet fed furnace and when we ran out of pellets, they were quick to restock. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider booking again next time we’re in Mammoth!

Enjoyed our ski trip of 4 adults. Plenty of space for us to relax at the end of the day. Enough kitchen supplies to make simple meals. Very conveniently located. Short car ride to the ski resort, less than 10 minutes. Friendly and timely communication with the host. Overall, very satisfied with this pick and would love to return for our next mammoth trip.

This is a great place for a large family. Location is great being close/walkable to town and green line bus stop which we loved. It is a bit dated and you can hear lots of noise from unit above. Host is very responsive and helpful should you have any questions.

Nice enough for a ski trip. Comfortable beds and all the essentials. Good parking. Host responsed promptly to questions and requests. Everything was loud: fireplace, dishwasher, upstairs unit when using water. Sounded like a waterpark in the walls. Floors could have been cleaner.

Place was great for the value and centrally located! I just can't give it a full 5 stars due to cleanliness and the jacuzzi not being available. The home had some trash on the floor (perhaps not all rooms were vacuumed) and the bathroom toilet wasn't wiped down. There were also unfolded blankets in the closet, which we assumed were still dirty so they went unused. And while I understand that communal amenities like the jacuzzi will need maintenance from time to time, it didn't seem like management made the effort to get the jacuzzi up and running for their guests during peak season. While searching for a rental, I made sure the chosen property came with a jacuzzi. We were super bummed we couldn't make use of it during our stay. I'm hoping this review helps communicate the importance of such communal amenities in addition to the home rental experience!

The condo is very well located near Vons. Easy access to nearby ski resort. Large condo, parking right right in front and ground level making it easy to bring in luggage or gear. Nice ski rack at front door. Large jacuzzi and game room was close to condo unit and the jacuzzi was clean. The furnishings were fine. Only problem was the floors were a bit dirty and it took a while to figure out and get the pellet heater to work routinely well, but once figured out it worked fine and kept the space warm. The price was very fair and for Christmas week, this was a great value. I would stay again.

We have stayed at a lot of different units here at Horizons 4 for over 20 years. This unit has many of the upgrades we like. There are a couple things that should be addressed like the second bedroom shower valves are hard to turn on and they need to be serviced and lubricated. The other thing that should be addressed is the kitchen lights and the lights above the sofa should have dimmers installed so you can control the brightness. And the blinds covering the slider has one strip missing that needs to be replaced. Other than those couple minor things we loved our stay at this condo and we would definitely stay there again.

The unit fit the needs of my son and I. We were gone most of the days fishing and hiking and used the unit to eat and sleep.

Host info book was outdated. WiFi info was wrong. We couldn’t figure out how to work pellet stove. I thought unit had a wood burning fireplace. Microwave door broken. Kitchen had many old pans that were warped. Plumbing problem was fixed in a timely manner..

Stayed for a long weekend. Everything was clean but it was missing some necessary items such as a toaster and some other kitchen items one would assume would be present. Also the towels were really cheap and the bed was too soft but otherwise was ok. I would stay there again,

We have stayed in Mammoth condos for over 35 years. Horizons 4 is by no means a new fancy spot, but offers a solid family accommodation with badic amenities. Kitchen is alright with a variety of just ok pans, but needs some more lids. Coffee maker is cheap but at least there were filters. We cooked 4 meals for 4 without major issues. Beds are a bit saggy. A hair and fuzz on the otherwise clean sheets and some darker marks on the white towels kinda put a damper on feeling comfy. A new smart TV for living room so you could stream would be nice. Wifi was fine. Curtains in bedroom are tired. Shower in master is TINY. Stove in living room is so loud we honestly think it may need to be serviced, but it kept the living space toasty warm.Location is great! Short drive to Eagle and shopping. First floor makes a huge difference in unpacking your cars. Communication with host was good. No issues with check in.
