What a beautiful spot! We jumped on the Bluff Trail every day for gorgeous hikes, and soaked in the hot tub to recover. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and electric car charger. A prior review mentioned some stains on the sofa...that's no longer an issue as the sofa looks to be brand new. Someone also mentioned the master bed being firm, which I agree with but not in a way that interfered with my sleep. It was wonderful to fall asleep each night to the sound of the crashing waves just outside! I would not hesitate to re-book next time we come to Sea Ranch.

This place was absolutely stunning. In fact, the pictures didn’t even do it justice. The ceilings are high, the fireplace is quite cozy, the home is very modern and tastefully furnished, and the view is out of this world. Truly, one of my favorite homes that I have in the Sea Ranch. 10/10.

Place is great. Walking distance to 2 beaches. Beautiful spot, great views. We took the chairs from the garage and popped them right on the bluff. Amazing. Few cob webs, but nothing crazy. Hot tub needed to be wiped out on the sides, but the water was very clean. Furniture is nice and newer. Beds were comfy. Over all fantastic.

This is our third time staying with friends at Pelican Landing. The views of the ocean are outstanding. The ocean is literally right outside the back door. We saw many whales traveling south while sitting in the living room. It was a magical weekend. Thank you Grand Welcome for making all the aspects of this trip easy. Amazing week with three families and three toddlers! Spacious house with incredible ocean views and fully stocked kitchen made everything easy. Del Mar Rec Center was super convenient, trails were fantastic (spotted whales!), and close to Gualala for supplies. Clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. We're already booking our return trip! Highly recommend for families seeking the perfect coastal retreat. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

What a beautiful property in a truly perfect location! We enjoyed 180-degree ocean views from every angle of the house. Inside, the home was equally impressive with its high ceilings, spacious rooms, and a well-maintained kitchen complete with a hot tub. This is truly the way to experience Sea Ranch. Our group of friends and family absolutely loved our stay and we'd highly recommend it. An added bonus was the excellent and communicative host who made everything seamless.

My friends and I had the best time at this stunning location! We spent the weekend crafting in the spacious living room, lounging on the giant (and super comfortable) couch, making delicious meals in the beautiful kitchen, and just enjoying the breathtaking views from the ample windows. It's also perfectly located near stores, making it easy to grab anything we forgot with just a short 5 minute drive. We made lifelong memories in Sea Ranch at this listing and we would highly recommend it to anybody who is considering a visit!

This Sea Ranch home is positioned fantastically on the sea-shore bluff. The layout of the house is fabulous with clear views out to the sea and shoreline. Plentiful windows bring the soft sea-breeze. The living room fireplace can balance the night chill. The outdoor hot tub worked well. The living room hutch was well stocked with games.

Sea Ranch is one of our favorite places to unwind. the scenery is gorgeous and we love walking along the bluff trail and into the neighboring regional park. Our stay here was just what we needed. The house was clean and had beautiful views. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fairly well stocked for cooking, with tons of storage. One thing I would suggest to the property managers is to get different chairs for the dining table. The current chairs are noisy, don't move well, and are likely to damage the tile over time. Not a deal-breaker. Also, maybe some more chairs for sitting outside. There was plenty of seating in the living room for our group to enjoy movie nights. We would come back to this house.

Beautiful house, well supplied with cooking equipment and amenities. Excellent responsiveness to requests, needed extra blankets and they were quickly delivered. Perfect location next to bluff trail, amazing views. One of the best Sea Ranch houses we’ve stayed in!

During our stay, all communication was entirely automated, lacking any personal engagement. The property's name, "Grand Welcome," felt ironic given our experience. The house itself needed a thorough cleaning; we discovered hair and crumbs on the leather chair, and the master bedroom had not been dusted properly. Additionally, there were no tongs available in the kitchen, and we were provided with only three trash bags for our three-night stay. The furniture was mediocre at best. Last year, we stayed at an Airbnb in Graywhale, and the property at 194 Pelican did not come close to that experience—except for the beautiful views it offered. To top it off, the cleaner was waiting outside the house for us to leave, which certainly wasn't a pleasant way to end our trip.

The view is absolutely beautiful, and it’s in a fantastic location. Kitchen was great and good sound system. Home was warm without heater even at night. Very close to the trail, so not much privacy in the main bedroom unless you completely close the blinds. We were disappointed in the quality of the home. The beds were very uncomfortable - one was extremely hard, and the next we tried was soft enough but very squeaky and small (felt full size not queen). Not very restful. It looks like a luxury home from the photos, but doesn’t feel it in person. There were also lots of stains on the sofa (it needs a cleaning), and a previous guest’s sock was under one of the beds. I think they should fix up the house or lower the price. I would not stay here again.

First, the property is excellent. We are picky, and it was very clean and well maintained. The property was actually better than the VRBO description and pics. We are frequent VRBO customers, and that is a rarity. The issue is with the property manager. While we were there, construction was happening right next door (50ft away). We go to Sea Ranch to escape noise and enjoy the peace. The property manager has a responsibility to know what is happening in and around the property that may impact the renters' stay. When asked for assistance, we were told we were on our own to contact Sea Ranch and deal with any sound issues. However, quiet hours are 9pm to 7am. So, when the construction hammering, sawing and grinding started at 7am, there is nothing that could be done about it. My issue is that this is bait and switch - and really bad business. Our guests in the back two bedrooms had no choice but to awaken at 7am. Then, we had to listen to hammering, sawing, grinding until 6pm. Ugh!

We have stayed in multiple places in Sea Ranch over the years. This place was top notch with its location and views. Close to Del Mar center. Right on the walking paths. Beautiful views from every room. Kitchen was great and fully stocked with equipment. Loved the big couch and family room. Only issue were all the beds were queen size. The master mattress was also very firm so I didn’t get the best sleep. But 10/10 everywhere else.

Such a beautiful house and a stunning location. The hot tub was gross when we arrived & they sent a team out quickly to drain, clean & refill it & it heated up quickly enough for us to go in that day! Access was easy with a lock box on the front door & my friend even charged his Tesla in the garage! It was a bit stuffy in the home, the air conditioning was needed and was not very effective & there was no breeze & no fans. I bet if I had asked for some fans they would have brought us some. The patios are super tiny, not sure why. The kitchen is beautiful, well appointed, & so much fun to cook in! We had some wonderful home made meals. Walking along the path just outside the back door was so much fun. Beaches & tidepools were explored & interactions with neighbors & walkers were had. A photographer let us see his photos of whales breaching, we saw seals, starfish, deer, & a giant raccoon on the back porch! Great weekend with friends!! Thank you!!

Beautiful home, beautiful setting ! January on the coast is quiet and solitary- except for the wild windy and rainy weather ! Not a problem while staying here. Cozy fireplace, ocean view, well equipped kitchen, and comfortable furniture all made for a wonderful relaxing getaway.

Loved this house! Design is modern and classic to Sea Ranch at the same time. Has all the amenities you’d hope for- a cook’s kitchen outfitted with all the cookware you’d expect., the best combined dining/ living area to lounge in. We cooked all our meals here. It’s also just steps off of the Bluff Trail with killer ocean views. I would definitely come back! The downsides are - poor primary suite mattress (as other reviews mention) and limited outdoor lounging. But the indoors and panoramic windows are pretty perfect and makes up for the lack of deck space.

This was our fourth rental at Sea Ranch and our first right on the coast. The stormy waves were LOUD, but we really enjoyed this different and up-close vantage on the sea. The house is spacious and spectacular, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the beds were comfortable. We hope to come back!
