Ocean Bungalow - Tesla EV Station & Near Trails!

This home is amazing. I loved everything about it. The views are insane, the bed was so comfortable (my sleep score was a 100!), the kitchen had everything and more, and the sound of the ocean was so soothing. It is close to everything (stores, restaurants, trails, beaches). The only thing that I’d change about the description is there’s no couch in the den. It didn’t affect my stay at all, but if someone was thinking there’s a pullout couch, there’s not. I love this home and I cannot wait to come back!!

We loved our stay! The view is amazing and the sounds of the ocean are so relaxing. The house was comfortable and clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. Can’t say enough about the view from the deck! We spent two evenings watching the pelicans gather on the long stretch of beach, listening to the waves and watching incredible sunsets while eating dinner and enjoying a beverage. If you enjoy a good beach view… this is the place!

This airbnb is truly a jewel. The view, the sound of the waves ALL DAY, the lack of people or city noise. We honestly never really wanted to leave during the days, as just being there felt so fulfilling and nourishing to the soul. The host was super communicative throughout. The view was the highlight of the rental. The rule of closing the windows because of the threat of raccoons coming in at night made sleeping harder without the cool night breeze to keep the bedrooms from being stuffy and hot. I think for the price, there should be an investment of protective coverings over the windows at the very minimum for the bedrooms. It would not be a lot of money to invest into and I think it is very much needed. The sea breeze during the day was wonderful, but even with moderately warm days by the afternoon the home gets warm and we struggled being comfortable at night not having the benefit of the cool air outside. There are some safety issues that I brought to light to the host who assured me that they would address them, so I won't highlight them in this review assuming that they will be followed through with.

This was a wonderful place to stay! Incredible location with plenty of amenities and household supplies that made "staying in" to relax and enjoy the view very easy. Groceries and restaurants are an easy walk while the beach or the river/Redwoods are a short drive. We would love to return again

Incredible location. Views of the Pacific Ocean and the Gualala River are fantastic. Clean and comfortable home within walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. Very responsive and helpful host. Nice home, with a beautiful view of the Ocean on the back deck patio. Accurately depicted and an easy walk (5 min or less) to both grocery stores. Great showers, water pressure, and great fireplace too. Great for a private relaxing getaway.

Fantastic location in Gualala with great views of the ocean and beach from the living room and deck. The house was well equipped for cooking and had ample space with a den and a couple of bedrooms and bathrooms. Some of the throw blankets were not very clean (one had a bad smell and we found a used bandaid stuck to another one). In addition, the check-out was earlier than expected at 10am.

We absolutely loved our stay at this ocean view bungalow! Be advised, however, it is a bit of a walk to get to the beach. Other than that everything was lovely. This place has a million dollar view! I brought my mom and mother in law for a belated Mother’s Day retreat and they were blown away by the ocean view. This spot has some perks that staying at Sea Ranch does not have, including near by restaurants and a market. The beds and linens are comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The only thing that would make it extra perfect would be an upgrade to the rather old noisy dishwasher.

Fantastic stay and we had an awesome time. The house has the best views of Pacific Ocean. It is very calm and scenic. I could spend all my time just listening to the waves. Trust me when I say this - the pictures posted on Airbnb does not do justice to how nice the place is. The view is fantastic and this is a very suitable place for peacefully enjoying a weekend with the beach in your backyard. The house is walkable to everything Gualala has to offer. Nice restaurants and small village vibe going on. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the place to anyone who wants to chill on the beach and have a good time. I was counting on the sofa bed in the bedroom as advertised here, but it was missing. Not a big deal, but just wanted to put it out there.

The view from the living room is spectacular. Unfortunately, it's the only room in the house with a view but it is amazing! The remodeled kitchen was very well laid out and stocked. We had everything we needed to make great meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms are underwhelming, but the price is very fair. We loved being able to walk into town for shopping and restaurants.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning ocean view – it was truly breathtaking. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having that view right outside the window made the whole experience feel extra special. The house itself was very spacious and thoughtfully laid out, making it the perfect place for a relaxing getaway, even with young children :) There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and the large windows let in tons of natural light, really highlighting the beauty of the surroundings. The location was great. There were several great restaurants just a short walk or drive away, offering a variety of delicious options - Mexican, seafood, pizza. Trinks cafe is a 1 minute walk and offers delicious quick options for any time of day. Plus, the beaches and walking trails nearby were perfect for exploring. Our kids had the best time! We will definitely be back!

We were two couples enjoying this home for two nights. Wished we could have stayed longer. The weather was beautiful during our entire visit in January, and we were able to enjoy sunsets from the deck and pre-dinner drinks at the patio table on the deck with stunning beach views. The home was very nicely furnished, with very comfortable and clean couches with recliners allowing us to gaze out at the ocean. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was better equipped than any airbnb I have ever stayed in. EV charger a great addition. Our friends who had the second bedroom found it to be a bit small, and in comparison to the master suite it was, but I felt it was totally adequate. Would have been nice to have an 11am checkout rather than 10am, so we could pop over to Trinks cafe for breakfast before packing up to leave. However, we agreed that we would all like to stay here again in the future! 5 stars from me!

My wife and I recently stayed at The Beach Bungalow in Gualala, California, and it was an absolutely incredible experience. This 1950s-style bungalow is both chic and cozy, with a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern comforts. The highlight for us was the breathtaking view of the ocean – easily one of the best in the area. Watching the sunset and listening to the waves from the bungalow was pure bliss. The location couldn’t be better. There are excellent restaurants and stylish boutiques within walking distance, making it convenient to enjoy the local scene without having to drive. Another great perk was the charging availability at the home – we were able to charge our non-Tesla EV with an adapter, and it worked perfectly. The bungalow’s tasteful decor, serene ambiance, and thoughtful amenities made our stay feel truly special. If you’re looking for a relaxing and scenic coastal getaway, we can’t recommend The Beach Bungalow enough!

It is a gorgeous house with an amazing view of the ocean. We had some trouble finding the location since there are 2 house numbers and Google maps navigated us wrong. However the host was able to help us. The place was beautiful and the kitchen was well stocked. We saw mice in the kitchen which freaked us out, but they sent someone the next day to place traps. We overall had a great stay

Beautiful home and location!!! Immaculate inside and had everything you may need during the stay. Ample seating, very cozy with a spectacular view of the ocean. You can hear and feel the waves as you relax Orr drift off to sleep. Uninterrupted view of the ocean and front row seats to epic sunsets! My dog loved the stay as well. An amazing stay! The property is spacious and love the decor. The location is perfect! A very easy short walk to the restaurants and shops. The surrounding area is full of trails, beaches and so many points of interest. It was raining the whole time of our visit but it didn't matter, it was even more beautiful watching the wild ocean and river from the giant picture windows. So relaxing. Extras everywhere! We had everything we needed and more... blankets, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash and lots of towels. Loved the make up wipes...Brilliant!!! Great WIFI! You’re renting the location, and it’s fantastic. It may be the Northernmost most homes under Sea Ranch management. Smack in the middle of Gualala. NOTE: There is no cell service in town, so screen shot any check information you may need. There is a public wifi network, but it’s painfully slow. Afternoons in the back deck are wonderful. One of the chairs was broken and I told the property management. No problem. Strangely the headboard wasn’t attached to the bed, but it wasn’t a big deal. We enjoyed a lunch at the seafood shack (walking distance) and the Surf market great; they even do BBQ lunches. Great place to relax, enjoy the cool temps, listen to the waves, and recharge.

This home was spectacular. The view is awesome and there are many places on the deck to sit and enjoy the sounds of the water. The location is convenient as no car is necessary to access the small town. Navigating the remote controls was a challenge but we had a tech savvy person with us who figured it out.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ocean Bungalow during our long weekend getaway. The view of the ocean from the deck was breathtaking, and the sunsets were truly mesmerizing. At night, watching the moonlight reflect on the ocean from the living room was such a peaceful and magical experience. The house was very comfortable, check-in was seamless, and the location was perfect with supermarkets within walking distance. It was a relaxing and peaceful stay, and we would love to come back again. Highly recommend!

Our family of 6 (and dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It was in a perfect spot close to everything in Gualala and had really great views of the ocean. We would totally stay there again!
