Sea Meadow - Panoramic Ocean View

This place was simple, quiet and comfortable: an older home with adequate updates and beautiful surroundings. The best parts were the hot tub and deck, nearby hiking trails and the incredible ocean just a few minutes away. We saw a fox and some deer in the yard. The kitchen was well stocked and the grill worked great. We were surprised that there was no central heat, but we enjoyed the wood burning stove. Kindling and fire-starting materials were not provided, but we gathered some sticks from outside and managed to find some matches hidden in a kitchen cabinet. There is a good stock of larger firewood but we recommend bringing some paper with you. Downstairs there were space heaters in the bathrooms that kept us nice and warm. This was a work trip so the main challenge for us was limited spaces to sit and work. There are no desks in the bedrooms so the kitchen table was the only option. Would be a sweet getaway spot for those on vacation!

Awesome place for a girls weekend getaway. Views were amazing; easy to access trails made for beautiful and peaceful walks along the ocean. Grocery and pizza close by in Gualala were very convenient. Hot tub was perfect for relaxation at the end of the day. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen had most things we needed.

We really enjoyed Sea Ranch, despite pouring rain for much of our stay! It’s beautiful and peaceful. This house was quite comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed.

Sea Ranch is a magical place. The house was well stocked, everything was labeled, wifi worked as expected, and the hot tub was hot when we arrived :-) There were deer outside our window every day. It is right next to the sea bluff trail so you can walk to your heart's content. Would certainly stay here again.

Lovely home. In the dark we were not sure how to close the hot tub cover but they sent a handyman early the next morning who showed us how - you just read the instruction and push the supporting pole half an inch to one side so that it can engage and close smoothly - simple. There are 2 bathrooms both en-suite here and a 3rd half bath upstairs near the living room - the bathroom situation is perfect. Hot tub is quiet at night. Views of the ocean from living room and from deck upstairs. TV a little hard to see when sitting on sofa but by re-arranging chairs we were able to gather around. We would love to come back - thanks.

Host communication was great. Take care - we accidentally booked 4-5 days in advance and couldn't refund even within minutes of booking. The home was very decent but in need of general updates (i.e. the carpet is quite old) and some upkeep outside (large insects and nests near the hot tub and seating areas). There was a noticeable smell we couldn’t quite peg in the main living area but not in the bedrooms. The location is fantastic and in some ways better than being right on the coast.

Pretty much anywhere on the water side in Sea Ranch is spectacular, but this place had a great view, was on a corner, and had lots of space around it between any surrounding houses. The house is older, but is cozy and has plenty of space, especially upstairs for gathering in the kitchen, dining room, living room, or deck. It was also nice to have the washer/dryer and BBQ. The biggest obstacle we encountered was the second bedroom. It was cold, dark and had a strange smell to it when we arrived. The bed also looked and felt like a couch pull-out bed, even though it didn't appear to transform into anything else. It just was not inviting, and as a result, my son and I both wanted the main bedroom. We ended up sharing it, which wasn't ideal, but we still had a great stay.

Absolutely wonderful! We had the most peaceful stay at Sea Meadows. The house was well-appointed and had everything we could have possibly needed, while at the same time being completely free of clutter and minimal, which made us feel even more relaxed. It was also one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed in. There was plenty for my 7 year old daughter to do, and she was so delighted by the wildlife- from the dining table we saw a doe, two fawns, three bucks, and a fox! The location is unmatched and the accommodations perfectly complimented the serene surroundings. We would love to come back.

Such a beautiful location - we felt so relaxed and rejuvenated after staying here! We loved the trails and walkable access to the ocean. The place was very spacious and clean and private, and the kitchen was well stocked. The hot tub was in service (yay!), and we enjoyed using it while gazing at the stars. We also loved the upper deck, where we sat to have our morning coffee.

READ BEFORE BOOKING.....We rented this home because of the hot tub and it is missing! We love Sea Ranch so we enjoyed our stay but since we choose this home because it included a hot tub we were very disappointed to arrive and find it gone! Other than that the home is nice with a very well equipped kitchen, which we enjoyed. The beds are comfortable and the home was very clean. The forced air heater is broken so there are space heaters in each room (not the best arrangement). We would rent the unit again if it had everything listed in the photos.

This was a decent spot. It came equipped with a wood stove, and all the mentioned amenities. There were a few cute touches around the place, though I’d describe it as mostly functional and it met our needs for the weekend.

The house is spacious. The views from the living area, which is on the second floor, are nice. You can see the ocean. We walked on the trails around the houses and also went to the Gualala Point Regional Park. The restaurant options in Gualala are limited but the pizza place is very very good. We were celebrating my birthday so we went to the fancy restaurant one night. It was decent. We came to Sea Ranch to escape the stress of daily life in a more urban setting. Sea Ranch was very peaceful and calming. I felt rejuvenated. We will consider returning to the place.

Spent a lovely New Years in this home in Sea Ranch. Home was comfortable and had everything you need. The kitchen was very well equipped, however they could use a few more pieces of silverware. Otherwise, had everything we needed to cook in two dinners. Easy walk to the beach trail and we did two great walks during our stay. Played pickleball during open play hours at courts nearer to the Lodge. Super fun! The only slight downside to our stay was that the Hot Tub was broken, which we only found out about a week or so before our trip. However, we were compensated with a nightly refund for the inconvenience.

The house is perfectly situated. Apart from other houses but not isolated. There is a path very nearby to walk to the ocean. The views from both floors are lovely. The house is very comfortable and Mark and I really enjoyed our time there. The management company was very responsive. We stayed 4 nights and I wish we had booked longer. So we will be back sometime in the future!

Our little family enjoyed a very peaceful 3 night stay in Sea Ranch. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishes and needed cooking items, spices, etc. The main level had great windows to see the sunset, as well as a beautiful deck to sit outside. We didn't use it, but there is also a BBQ on the deck. We could hear the ocean, and smell the sea air when we opened the windows. The 2 bedrooms (downstairs) had plenty of room, and each opened to the deck where the hot tub is located. The hot tub was nice and hot, and specific towels are provided for its use. Each bedroom had a full bathroom with tubs. We also didn't use the wood burning stove, but there is firewood outside if we had wanted to. The town of Gualala is a short drive, and there is detail of local restaurants in the kitchen. We enjoyed getting coffee and a treat each day from Trinks. The home is very homey and comfortable. We will definitely look to see if it is available the next time we want to come to Sea Ranch. We loved it!

Inviting and sweet Sea Ranch property on large lot with wonderful West exposure and great views. Access to bluff trail across the road. Very private and welcoming. Having 2.5 bathrooms was very practical. Hot tub cover a bit heavy but so worth it under a full moon! Walk or bike to spacious Del Mar Rec Center. Will rent again for sure.

We had a wonderful stay at your home. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and supplies. I loved that the house is close to the ocean so that we can walk along the coastline. A few things though: We got checked in at 4p. The house inside was cold. The instructions say to turn OFF the Central Heat, but there isn't one in this house to turn it on. We finally realized there was a space heater upstairs and on/off knobs in the bathrooms downstairs. There were small pieces of kindling to start a fire for that afternoon, however there wasn't any pieces of paper to start the kindling. We had to go to a store the next morning in Gualala for fire starter and kindling. Paying this amount nightly I really would have thought that these two items would have been stocked. Lastly the TV - How can anyone watch TV with it mounted to the wall! The four of us would have to move chairs in a row in front of the TV to see it! The TV mounted to the wall needs to be replaced with a swivel so that you (we) can sit on the sofa and be comfortable.

The house itself is perfectly fine, comfortable and with a good view of the ocean and meadow. The issues I have are with the communication (or lack of) with the management. They did not seem to want to give out information unless I specifically asked for it, which resulted in our having to leave a day early because of road work that they had neglected to tell us about. I'm not a fan of keyless entry as every time I have encountered it there have been problems, and this time was no exception. The door code they had given me did not work, and they had to try two more before we found one that did. But it only worked for a week, and then they had to give me yet another one. I also had to upload a photo of my passport before they would give me check-in instructions, which made me very uncomfortable as I had never dealt with them before and had no way of knowing whether it was a scam. I would gladly stay in this house again if it were under different management. One good thing though: they did offer to refund me for the unused last day of our stay, since it was their lack of communication which caused the problem. Perhaps they will do better in future.
