The perfect little spot for two. It was cozy and clean. The area was super quiet. It gets really dark at night outside. Definitely bring a headlamp or flashlight if you plan on walking outside. They had lanterns for us to use too. We enjoyed our quiet and peaceful stay here very much.

My second time here and it remains one the best homes I’ve stayed in. It is cozy, clean, and comfortable. It is stocked with just the basics so make sure to bring your own stuff. Hosts were helpful and available.

Our stay at Sea Ranch was exactly what we were hoping for in a mini- honeymoon! Very private and secure feeling space, instructions and responses from Grand Welcome Sea Ranch were extremely helpful and timely. We ended up thinking we had locked ourselves out at one point, but we got very quick assistance from Grand Welcome Sea Ranch on how to troubleshoot the sometimes tricky front door. Amenities at the unit we rented were very luxurious, the view was gorgeous, had a great time!

This cute little loft/studio condo was absolutely perfect for my partner and I to celebrate a birthday. It is in a peaceful location with great views of the ocean. We spent so much time here and loved the hot tub. Would highly recommend!

Lovely home with amazing views/hot-tub. However, I feel like the house was too focused on design and not enough about function. Example, very limited lighting in master, we brought up lamp so we could see. The living room lights could not be lowered or the tv would turn off. Would stay again, however the lighting really affected out stay.

Had an amazing staycation! The Airbnb was spotless and all amenities worked great. Had the perfect view of the ocean and was an overall a perfect getaway. Also had one of the most comfortable beds. Kathleen and her team were very responsive and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Would recommend and will definitely be coming back

We were excited to stay in one of the cluster homes and had a nice stay here. It’s been remodeled in a contemporary way. The view was unbeatable and miles of trails out the front door. Kitchen was adequate for our cooking needs.

Actual place and location were fine and as described, was a perfect getaway for a couple wanting to experience Sea Ranch and coastal life it has to offer. Only reason why I did not give Five Stars for this stay was when I first noticed I could not find a corkscrew. When I asked the host, their response was not to help solve the issue but to point out that it was not on the amenities list. It was too late to go purchase one so I borrowed one from a neighbor. When asked if I could have Amazon deliver one the next day, that I planned to leave behind for the next guest to use. Again was told that was not possible. Next issue was when I tried to operate the induction oven..I looked throughout the unit for any directions and asked for help. Was only told there should be instructions in a drawers. I ended up looking on YouTube for a video that help solve the operation issue. When it did operate, it was much slower to boil water than a conventional gas’s or electric stove..quite a surpr

We had an amazing stay. The host was extremely quick responding when we asked for an early check in. When we had an issue with the hot tub they quickly worked through it with us and sent someone out the same day to get it working! They house was super cute and well stocked and there is beautiful hiking all around. There is also easy walking access to one of the sea ranch community centers either swimming, tennis, and a sauna. Would definitely stay again!

Exquisite location with a spectacular view of the ocean and meadow. Peaceful, serene, and tastefully appointed with comfortable and stylish furnishings. The place was beautiful and spotless. We especially appreciated the ocean view from the front deck. Our host was very helpful when we needed help with operating the stove top and lighting. And for us, an added bonus was access to the swimming pool at Del Mar Recreation Center as we are lap swimmers. We will come again. Thank you.

Extremely relaxing stay with terrific sunsets, fine dinning and plenty of shops and grocery stores within 10 minute drive. Enjoyed the amenities included such as recreation center, Sea Ranch Lodge and parking at some of the closer beach accesses. We can’t wait to come back again and again!!!

Great location, stunning ocean views and right by highway 1 (but not too close, no noise). The perfect base to start the date with a hot tub soak, before hiking and exploring the beautiful surroundings and returning for another hot tub soak :) dog friendly which is a great plus! Host is super communicative and helpful. We had a lovely stay and I recommend this place to others as well.

This place is truly an architectural treasure! We were looking for a peaceful and cozy getaway and it fit the bill perfectly. Everything was well set up and all the listed amenities were available which made our stay very comfortable. It did get a little warm during the day and at night since there isn’t an A/C but that’s a minor note compared to how wonderful the space is. We’d definitely love to come back again!

In a word, magical. This beautifully appointed cottage offered the perfect balance of luxury and sensibility, with everything you need plus thoughtful additions, like a woven satchel for beach jaunts and flashlights for night walks. The late-morning sunlight in the loft bedroom made reading in bed dreamy, and the amazingly comfortable mattress made getting up nearly impossible. The hosts were extremely responsive. The only downside was leaving. Counting the days until we can return!

Such a lovely place - smart set-up; great use of space. From eating out on the deck with a beautiful view of the Pacific, to cooking in a well-appointed kitchen, to lounging in a comfy loft, to watching movies on the sofa, to soaking in the hot tub under our own redwood, there was something for all of our moods :) Great location - we took lovely hikes with our pup along the bluffs, to the beaches, and into the forest, all from our front door. Sea Ranch is a special place.

Lovely little house with a nice view. Linens were clean and plentiful. Home is cozy. Kitchen was lacking some utensils II would have liked to have had. Working the stove was a bit confusing if someone is going to do a fair amount of cooking.

We had a great time at Grand Welcome! The space is recently remodeled, contemporary but true to the roots of Sea Ranch. It really has everything you need. Furthermore, we left something behind and they did an amazing job of finding it and sending it to us. One thing to mention. Because the loft has cable rails and the staircase is open, it was a little nerve racking with a toddler.

We stayed as a couple and that is the perfect party. Even though the place could sleep four, it is a studio setup and it would be tight. It has a functional kitchen with Miele appliances, so you can bring your own ingredients and cook. Eating out means a drive of at least five minutes (at the Sea Ranch lodge) or further. We would love to come back.

I stayed here on a solo trip with my little doggie companion. It was a perfect place for us! I really appreciated the decor and the care put into using the space very efficiently and comfy. They even put such care as to cut the firewood to perfectly fit the fireplace. Everything was top notch. I did have a question about the spa and the responded super quickly. Lovely space!

Great location and good ocean view. There are a few (though limited) nice restaurants around, but recommend to have some food prepared. Host is responsive, helpful and friendly, but there was some confusion, and hopefully the host can address this soon. Cars should be parked in the carport, but the welcome message was outdated and automatic, which asked you not to park in the carport. And be mindful that there is no dishwasher in this property. Other than that, it was a great stay.

This place was so cute and comfortable. Nice furniture, tons of towels, wool blankets and pillows, some Pendleton! Very aesthetically pleasing. Comfortable bed, couch, chairs, climate control. Lots of light, a view of the ocean, a perfect hot tub, pristine bathroom and kitchen. We cooked almost the entire time and the house had all cookware, appliances and utensils needed. The property management host was incredibly helpful!! We communicated with her a lot because the internet was not working. She had maintenance and the internet service provider out to the property so quickly (on a weekend!). It turned out it was a broken fiber. She was great. My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights for our 15 year wedding anniversary. I loved everything about the place except that that there wasn't anyway to close the mechanical shade on the skylight over the bed so we were woken before 6 am every day. Very quiet and peaceful location. It was lovely to see the ocean even if we couldn't hear it. End of May was pretty chilly so the heated floors in the kitchen and bathroom were great! Hot tub is near the front door but the wall is high enough to have some privacy. Great use of space and plenty of storage area for guests! Lovely location to just get away from it all for a few days.

our stay was very relaxing. the neighborhood was walkable with trails close by and it was a short drive to Gualala and all the different beaches. the bedroom is up the stairs in the loft and it was a bit different having the bathroom downstairs but the home is so beautiful that it was a very minor detail. we brought our young puppy (thank you for being dog friendly! ) and she had some trepidation with the stairs and open loft area and all of the beautifully tempting nick nacks and decor, so next time we will leave our pup at home. but older more experienced dogs would be fine. we had a really lovely stay, loved the hot tub and beautiful patios, front and back, and would definitely stay again. the kitchen had everything we needed.

This place was everything we hoped for, both rustic and modern, with windows that frame a large ocean view and let natural light in that gently wakes you up in the morning. We also enjoyed the hot tub on the private patio under the redwoods, and the hiking trails nearby that take you into all of Sea Ranch's natural beauty. We hope to stay there again!

The home is in great condition and all works as expected. It is a great example of the "Sea Ranch" experience. It's a little small for the price. It's quiet and with a really nice view. The bedroom was the disappointment. Half the ceiling is too low, the bed is too big for a room that size, and the lighting was almost non-existent. The furnishings were nice, except one of the animal fur blankets shed like crazy. There was some construction going on next door but it wasn't invasive on our stay. Overall, it is that fair a very good stay.

We had such a good time during our stay here! Convenient location with an amazing view. Perfect for two people. Loved the Hottub and everything else about the place! Only thing was unlocking the door was slightly tricky but we figured it out (turn handle to the right while unlocking with the key). Wish we had stayed for more days!

The perfect getaway weekend. Your own slice of Sea Ranch peace and beauty. Everything you see is everything you get. Grand was very responsive and the house instructions were detailed enough to follow without issue. A few notes helped me skimming through reviews before arrival so I’ll drop them here quickly: you get a parking pass upon arrival it’s inside the unit, the heated floors for the bathroom are inside the cabinet directly in front of the door, there is no dishwasher get ready to scrub, the lamp next to the fireplace has a bluetooth speaker option (hold down the top button to pair), the entry code is not a smart lock but rather a lock box, hot tub temp was great but dropped a bit during initial use so bump it up a few degrees before you get in to account for that, there are no shades for the top windows or skylights sleep early-ish and/or bring a mask. Overall, this place was a dream. Will definitely be back to Sea Ranch one day and hopefully back here at this cottage. Enjoy!

We loved this cottage at Sea Ranch and will definitely consider it when booking again. The place is comfortable and charming. There are trails right from that spot either down to the bluffs or into the woods. That said there are some things potential renters should know: There are 14 stairs down to the cottage from the parking area so you might want to pack food and other items in small bags - you will be making lots of trips. The short firewood is in a shed area at the bottom of the staircase from the hot tub deck. If you want to take a drink to the hot tub, bring a plastic glass from home. It says no glass in that area, but there are no alternatives to glass or ceramic. There is no way to close the skylight blind. We had a very hard time finding the controls for the radient floor heat. The thermostat for the bathroom floor is inside a cabinet and for the kitchen floor to the right of the coffee machine. Turning off the sconces turns off the TV.

Wonderful setting, beautiful architecture and an unbelievable view.! This was our first time to visit Sea Ranch, but hopefully not our last. Communication with Grand Welcome was very timely. Comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and a clean hot tub were all a special bonus. Plenty of things to keep guests happy during a rainstorm: lots of firewood provided, puzzles, games, streaming TV, etc. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed here for 4 days/3 nights and couldn’t have been happier with this property. I can’t say enough about the wonderful view and the natural light. This place had everything we needed whether we stayed in or went out and explored the town. We will definitely come back to this property; absolutely loved it!

Lovely and cute space. Big enough for two! Walking trails near by, which is great for those with dogs. Heated floors in the bath & kitchen were amazing to have. Some wood was not cut to size to fit into the fireplace. The only major downer was that the bed comforter smelled like the hot tub chlorine. Otherwise, highly recommend!

Very well appointed. So peaceful. We loved the ocean view and the sheep right through our windows. We wished that we had booked much longer than two nights. Plan to go back and stay for a minimum of 4 to 5 next time.

Really beautiful cabin with tasteful design details and a great view of the ocean. Spent a weekend here with our dog and it was serene! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a spot close to the coast.

Very beautiful and relaxing would definitely stay there again. The view is lovely and the hot tub was nice. The tree coming out of the deck is so cool. Bed and couch were super comfortable. Maybe the fireplace chimney needs to be cleaned or something, but it was too smoky to use even once the fire was well established and burning hot. The shower does splash a lot of water on the floor so you have to be very careful as it gets very slippery. I really liked the lighting options, felt very cozy and well designed.

Beautiful home with great views. The house is very central is you want to take a drive around the coast, but it’s also well worth staying in and enjoying the hot tub or fireplace. The area is remote, so recommend to bring your own supplies and groceries from home to avoid driving around too much. Host was very proactive with communication and the experience was very easy.

We had a lovely weekend stay at the sea ranch. A cozy stay especially with the wood burning stove (wood provided) and hot tub, plus it was walking distance from many coastal hikes. Had all listed amenities and plenty of space for 2. Would go back!

The house is beautifully designed with thoughtful amenities like radiant floor heat in the kitchen, a heated towel rack in the bathroom and a beautiful sliding glass door that opens the whole front of the house and leads to a nice deck. Great hiking trails are in the woods just behind the house. As noted by another guest, the shower can make a mess on the floor if you don’t angle the shower head properly (you have to aim it into the corner as best you can by angling the rubber coated fixture). One other suggestion for the host is it would be good to provide some simple instructions for operating the coffee maker. It is not intuitive, so I had to google it to make sure I was doing it right. Many Airbnbs I have stayed at have some coffee and tea available to get you started. This one does not, so come prepared with any groceries you want to have. There is a grocery store in Gualala, about 10 mins north if you find you need to stock up after arrival. All in all, it’s a beautiful spot!

What a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing retreat. It's a snug studio, with a good kitchen and a good bathroom, a combined living and dining, and a loft bedroom. The little deck was perfect for reading snuggled in one of the many blankets, sipping tea from the hot water kettle, and enjoying the truly stunning views. Bed is comfortable. The front door lock was really difficult for me - keep turning the key more and more to the right, past hearing the deadbolt move, and eventually the knob works. Note that lighting inside at night is not substantial. There is little lighting in the living and dining area, so it gets quite dim. I found myself cozy in bed with the bedside lamp by 8pm because it was too dark to read downstairs. Note also that the stairs are exactly as pictured, open with a railing, that the top stair has a gap between its left edge and the landing, and the landing area at the top of the loft is quite small, so be very mindful of where you step. I hope to return soon!

It’s a really nice area, super peaceful. It was clean other than some hairs on the couch it was a really nice. We just weren’t fond of the shower not having a door and the water made a mess outside. Other than that I’d go back

Gorgeous home with an amazing view. This space was the perfect place for two! We would absolutely stay here again. We did bring our small dog and I would note that the house is a bit precarious to navigate for a small dog. The lofted upstairs is protected with a thin stretchy wire barrier and the stairs were a bit difficult.

Amazing place, unfortunately there was construction going on next door and obstructed the amazing view. We had to keep the curtains drawn all day for privacy. Cleaning was mostly great a few little areas were overlooked and needed to be cleaned. Overall, would definitely stay again.

I especially loved sitting on the rear deck looking out through the trees to a good view of the ocean. The location was serene and peaceful up against the forest. The place itself was quite cute and I appreciated being able to bring my dog. I wish that the induction cooktop had come with instructions. I was not able to use it. I never found the dishwasher, so I suppose that the checkout instructions regarding loading the dishwasher were generic. Lastly, the refrigerator was quite noisy. However, all in all, I really enjoyed my stay in this lovely little place.

We truly enjoyed our stay. It’s perfect for a couple’s getaway. The location is perfect for hiking trails and the view of the ocean was amazing. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub which was very clean. We took our puppy, Luna, who did well with the stairs which was one of my concerns. It was a five star trip all the way around. Celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary. Thank you!!

The house was great, beautiful ocean views. It's small, but great for a couple (no bedroom door - loft only). The fireplace was so cozy. The only comment is the 10am check out is a little harsh. Other than that, 10 out of 10.
