A lovely smaller home in Sea Ranch, but was perfect for four adults and two kiddos. Location is wonderful, walk to the rec center. For sure feels like a rental, but very well organized, had everything we needed and was a great value for the price.

We had a great stay - very clean and cozy home in a beautiful location. It poured our entire visit so we didn’t get to do the outdoor adventuring we had pictured, but the house was set up so that we didn’t have any regrets staying in.

Even prettier than the photos! Honestly I'm confused by the negative reviews on here. The place was spotless and even more modern than the photos showed. A little pricey but it's a very nice area and a huge house with full ocean views, so kind of expected. Full of high end kitchen appliances (but bring your own oil and spices, they weren't that well stocked) so we made an amazing thanksgiving meal. We really appreciated that the house was dog friendly, he had a blast all around sea ranch and we especially appreciated the fenced in yard and deck with jacuzzi. We will be back!

The house was exactly like the pictures. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the coastal trail, and only 10 minute drive to Sea Ranch Ledge for dinner. It’s also only 5 minutes from Gualala. Getting in the hot tub for sunset/sunrise was the best part.

The house was great mostly. Good location. Would be nice if there was a deck off the main floor to enjoy the views. Can only see the ocean if you’re standing looking out the upstairs window. There are bugs everywhere in the house. I understand the close proximity to nature- if you don’t mind bugs crawling next to your toothbrush. Beds were comfy. Hot tub only accessible thru master bedroom or office (which we had kids sleeping in both rooms). Very strong fish smell at entrance of house but it didn’t seem to penetrate thru front door. Everything was nicely labeled and easy to find. Please supply one shot glass, for measuring purposes! All in all it was great for what we needed. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Drifter. We found the house to be represented just as claimed in the AirBNB listing. The reverse floor plan made this house very inviting to us as it allows for beautiful views of the ocean and the meadow from the living areas. We found check in to be easy, the house to spotlessly clean and round all the amenities to be as expected. The house is less than a 5 minute walk to the bluff trails with miles of trails to enjoy. We enjoyed evenings in the hot tub watching deer and rabbits in the meadow a short distance away. We are frequent visitors, and family are prior owners of a home in Sea Ranch, and have found this vacation rental to be the best yet! We highly recommend this property and will certainly be booking here again. Enjoy your time here, just don't take all the dates :)

We’ve been visiting Sea Ranch for more than 20 years and it never fails to relax and recharge us! The Sea Drifter is one of the nicest Sea Ranch homes we’ve stayed in. Check-in easy, the place was spotless, and the how looked exactly like the photos in the listing. There was large variety of games, puzzles, and books to choose from and the furniture was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the ocean view from the livingroom and the quiet location near the bluff trail. The walk to Walk On Beach took about 15 minutes. We saw whales spouting off in the distance every day on our walks along the trails. The home was extremely comfortable with a decently appointed kitchen, plenty of towels, and extra blankets. We ended most days in the hot tub to stargaze. We picked up groceries at the Surf Market minutes away in Gualala where there is a Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings. We also had dinner out at Vue which was delicious with great service. Thank you for having us! We’ll be back.

We really enjoyed our stay! We could see the ocean from the dining room and living room and it was so easy to walk to Walk on Beach, which was my kids favorite! The home was as described in the listing—spacious, clean, and with two bedrooms, it’s well-suited for larger groups. However, my stay was just two people, and while we enjoyed the space, I found the cleaning policy to be a bit excessive. The $195 cleaning fee felt steep, especially since we were still repeatedly asked to do chores like washing the dishes and taking out the trash. I understand that cleaning a home of this size can be a big job, particularly after larger groups, but for smaller parties like ours, the policy could use some flexibility. Perhaps scaling the cleaning fee based on group size or adjusting expectations for smaller groups would help create a more welcoming experience. As someone with a disability, even small tasks can be challenging, so a more guest-friendly approach would make a big difference.

This place is such a gem! Waking up to the ocean view with just a walking distance away from private trails for miles. There are two rooms but there's a den with a pull out couch so enough space for us all. The host was communicative throughout the entire process and was such a lovely stay. Everything was terrific —only 2 peeves — the master bedrooms mattress — we have a bed very similar to the one in the other bedroom but it was to small for both of us — that a garbage can was not under the sink in the master bath.

I have stayed in many places in Sea Ranch over the last 15+ years, and this was one of the nicest. It has a beautiful ocean/ sunset view, is a short walk to the bluffs, is close to Gualala for shopping and dining, and has all the amenities you need including a BBQ and Jacuzzi. It was heavenly! My dog and I intend to return to this beautiful property, and I've already recommended it to a friend!

The home is beautiful and a wonderful location right on the heart of Sea Ranch. Breathtaking bluffs just a two-minute walk away with trails that stretch miles in every direction. The hot tub was fantastic as well. Loved that the home is dog friendly. Unfortunately, we found some poison oak in the enclosed yard which we messaged the host about. They said poison oak was against the HOA policy and someone would come out to address it, but no one ever did. Just a warning to those of you with dogs- we ended up not able to use the enclosed yard space because of this. Still, all around an amazing stay and we would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. The home is in a beautiful location. We’ve stayed at sea ranch a dozen times and this home rates high. The amenities in the home are nice. The couches are not very comfortable. The bed sheets are microfiber and the pillows are flat and old. The proximity to the coastal trail and ocean is ideal. Hiking tails are lovely. Overall the home is recommended.

Beautiful home in a great location, short walks to the bluff and the community center. Well equipped kitchen and beautiful views from the main floor. I think it’s important to note that the office does not have a door, there were three of us and that was to be the 3rd bedroom with a futon but lacks privacy and did not block noise. Based on the listing I thought it was a proper enclosed space.. The host company was very responsive when we needed the hot tub cleaned.

Sea Ranch was beautiful as ever. The house was very clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The tree in front of the living room window needs a trim for a better ocean view! But the big windows of the top floor (kitchen, dining room, living room) made the space bright and inviting even on rainy days. The couches are very soft, which felt nice for lying down but not amazing for sitting up straight. If working remotely, there are no great work spaces (dining table has benches, no chairs with backs). Be aware that the house has stairs to enter, then stairs down to sleep and up to hang out. My mom (in her 80s) was with us and she was ok, but I don't think I realized how many steps there were when I booked. Management was super helpful and prompt answering all questions, and brought a charger for the tv remote, which was very appreciated.

Excellent house and location. There was a problem with the septic sewer system which was fixed by local plumbers after we called Grand Welcome. The hot tub is not impressive as it is clearly a 120 vs 220 watt so it would lose heat after a while.

The house is located west of Hwy 1, just a short walk to the bluffs and trails. The house was clean, and very comfortable…the hot tub was a plus and provided some incredible star gazing in the evenings. The house is a short 5 minute drive to Gualala for supplies or dining. The many west facing windows in the house provide the perfect view of the sunset….another pleasant bonus. Communications with the property management team was very prop and provided incredible service when we inadvertently left an item behind. A fantastic place for a quiet getaway on the North Coast….we’d definitely stay again!

This property is in a great location of sea Ranch, close to the Del Mar recreation center and to Gualala.The good: Clean, good water pressure, nice linens, stocked kitchen (nice selection of pots and pans, knives, and utensils) and a lovely bookshelf with books and games. Loved all the labels on everything. Nice large dining room table with an open Ish floor plan. Comfortable living room with ample couch and seating for the whole family. Could be better: the beds could definitely use an upgrade, and the scratchy toilet paper and lack of Kleenex feels like the usual Grand Welcome short cuts. Otherwise, lovely!

We had the best time! The house is very well kept, has everything stocked that you would need, and is walking distance from everything. Would definitely stay here again!
