Kabella - Pet Friendly With Hot Tub!

Beautiful Sea Ranch stay with stunning architecture and incredible water views. The house felt very private, was close to walking paths, and had a well-stocked kitchen. The hot tub was a highlight. Highly recommend.

Great location close to walking trails along the ocean. Beautiful interior living and dining space. Tastefully done with neutral tones embracing the interior wood architecture. Beautiful ocean view from the deck.

Second time staying here and probably not our last! The home has a wonderful Don Jacobs design - full of classic Sea Ranch charm. Everything was in good working order, though the stove does take a little getting used to. Beds and furniture were comfortable, and overall it made for another great stay.

I like the house and the location, but it needs to be thoroughly cleaned, and there were quite a few things that could have made a big difference: get clutter out of closets, put the closet door on the track, get better shower heads, remove clutter (something stored in lawn bags) from the ledge in the bedroom. Has tons of potential, but not living up to it

Returning to the Kabella house after many years was a real treat. We loved its location within Sea Ranch, its one story layout with a dramatic ceiling, and its enclosed yard. The beds were comfortable and we loved the window seat. The kitchen was well stocked and perhaps the one less stellar aspect of the house was that the dishwasher didn’t clean so well and some of the stove top dials no longer have labels guiding the user in knowing which burner and degrees we are selecting. Overall, this is one of our favorite homes in Sea Ranch and we hope to be back again..

We had the most incredible stay at this Sea Ranch property! The views of the ocean are absolutely stunning, we spent hours just watching the waves crash against the cliffs. One of the highlights was sitting in the hot tub at night under the stars, spotting shooting stars while listening to the ocean, pure magic. The house itself is beautifully maintained, with a well-stocked, spacious kitchen that made cooking a joy. The WiFi was super fast and reliable, which was great for both relaxing streaming time and a bit of remote work. Everything about our stay was perfect. This place is truly special, and we can’t wait to come back!

Our 3-day trip was positively magical. The house was spotless and had every amenity I could possibly imagine. It is amazing how 3 days away at such a gorgeous place and beautiful house can make such a difference in how one feels. I could have sat all day on the deck watching the hummingbirds dance in the lilac bushes and staring at the ocean!

Beautiful views of the ocean and forested hills from the many windows of the home. Very easy access to a beautiful trail overlooking the ocean. Comfortable and clean. Lots of counter-space for cooking. And very fast responses from Grand Welcome Sea Ranch. We were very pleased with this working vacation in Sea Ranch.

Beautiful Sea Rach getaway- the Sea Ranch Lodge is under 10 mins and there are trails right outside the house. Things to know are : Nongrovery stores nearby and the ones that are shut at 8PM , so plan ahead and pack well. The house had a lovely layout and the hot tub was well- positioned. There is no coastal access from the community but you can drive 5-10 mins to get to trails with coastal access.

Stayed for a few days with our 2 dogs. The place worked very well for what we needed. Nice location, nice view. Good walking areas. The kitchen is fully stocked which was great! Overall, a great space to stay.

This property is as advertised. The location is beautiful. The view of the ocean on one side and the ocean on the other is majestic. We arrived on a Friday evening and left early Monday morning, which felt like just enough time to enjoy the home and the surroundings. The kitchen is well stocked and the bedrooms are comfortable. The hot tub was hot and clean when we arrived. We’d highly recommend.

We had a great stay in Sea Ranch. The house was in a wonderful location with beautiful ocean and meadow views. It was a an easy walk to gorgeous ocean side trails. The house itself was very clean, well-stocked and cozy and is the perfect space for two couples or a small family. The outdoor area had ocean views and a very nice hot tub. It was a super relaxing retreat and we really enjoyed our stay!

When paying $1200 a night I expect a few extra towels, T.P., dishwasher pods, kindling for the fire, placemats for the wood table or a table cloth and more dish towels and kitchen rags to wipe things along with a cleaner for the counters. I also think that the bedding needs to be much better than what was there. The TV did not work while we were there and we contacted them and they were not very helpful. Loved the house, but the details were not there.

House was a good layout for us and a baby, would be a bit tight for two couples. For a family with one kid it’s the perfect size and a great open layout. Stayed through a storm, and no problem with heat as some mentioned. Thermostats in each room, and they stocked the wood for us, was great with a fire going the whole time in the wood fire place. House was clean with a decent kitchen set up, but bring your own coffee, oils, salts, etc. they left us three dishwasher pods, be nice to have a few more since there is no store nearby and they ask you to do dishes even though you pay a high cleaning fee. Grille is charcoal. Location is decent. Not one of the big meadows in sea ranch, feels a little bit suburban, but close enough to the ocean for an easy walks. Can see the waves from the jacuzzi which is nice but the house next door is pretty messed up and right on top of you. Beds are really comfortable, but they could use some fresh pillows and new linens, bring a pillow!

This was the perfect little getaway in Sea Ranch. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings, proximity to the beach, and the hot tub. It was so gorgeous waking up everyday to the nature of Sea Ranch, and even more special seeing the Milky Way at night. We were comfortable and cozy at Kabella. Our host was extremely responsive and helpful when needed. Lots of towels for showering and hot tubs, and all the kitchen basics to cook dinners and breakfasts. The TV has a lot of remotes, but once we figured it out, we were able to enjoy a movie night too. We loved reading by the window and doing puzzles at the kitchen table. We'll definitely be coming back.

Great location if you like to walk / hike, close to trails. Quiet - perfect for us. Kitchen was kitted out well, good dw. Comfy living room + Dr + deck. Smart TV worked seamlessly + WiFi was perfect indoors + on deck. Bathrooms are the compromise but I would stay here again without question. I didn’t get away for a shower - and the hummingbirds, sunsets and idyllic Sea Ranch setting makes it all work. SR Lodge has been redone, great food and wonderful wine list too. Outdoor dog friendly. I really appreciate a house of this quality accepting well behaved furries. Very dog friendly living space, small front outdoor enclosure for off lead, must have them secured on the deck - outdoor space is open. Just a pet FYI. House has good light and beautiful ceiling height, wood burning stove + wood and a classic Sea Ranch bench ♥️ which is a must.

This place is stunning inside and out. We loved our stay - it was peaceful and beautiful. We loved walking the bluff trails and went kayaking on the Gualala river. The house is gorgeous, and well equipped. It’s a perfect size for a couple &/or with one child. We would love to stay here again. Notes for my sensitive friends: It has had obvious water damage on the bottom of windows and baseboard/walls. It appears to be dried out as I am mold sensitive and did not have a problem. The laundry room is quite fragrant from detergent but with the door closed it wasn’t an irritant for me. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying at this house- the location is perfect- just in the center of sea ranch- we had views of the ocean from the deck and hot tub. It was very close to the beautiful network of coastal trails. It had everything we needed for a perfect get away.

It's a stunning house. Great location and walk to the bluffs, and short drive to Gualala and the Lodge. The house was also very well stocked with the basics (solid kitchen equipment foundation, extra towels for hot tub, logs for the fire place, etc), which made it very relaxing. I'd definitely recommend to anyone visiting Sea Ranch, and hope to come back soon.

We stay often in Sea Ranch, and I would call this place "pretty good". It was definitely clean and in a great location. The fireplace and hot tub were both great. Rental was easy, etc... All good. A few SMALL honest criticisms for the seasoned sea ranch renter: Didn't love that the bedrooms and baths were very bunched up at one end of the house (not much privacy from each other). Lack of a gas grill and patio furniture was a bit of a downer. The biggest complaint was the very minimal stocking of the place. When we pay 100's in fees it would be nice to have more than the absolute minimum kitchen supplies, bath supplies, no charcoal, no lighter fluid, very few spices.... etc. I know it's not up to the owner to provide everything needed, but compared to other rentals over the last 20 years, this is one where I felt a little extra consideration would have gone a long way toward swallowing all of the fees. Don't hesitate to rent the place, just know to bring absolutely everything other than firewood and paper towels.

The home is located in a friendly area with good views of the ocean and a nice deck with lots of green space. Overall the house is great with the exception of the beds, bed linens and pillows. Given the high price point I would expect those items to be updated. They are all old and uncomfortable. A Sonos speaker would also be a nice upgrade as most people no longer listen to CDs. Otherwise it's a great spot for people and dogs!

This house is in a fantastic location, with the kitchen/living room and hot tub looking out to the ocean. The house was clean and had everything we need. The walk to the beach from the house was further than anticipated. Unfortunately, the beach was closed for preservation during our stay which was a big reason why we booked this home. Otherwise, this house and our stay in it was wonderful.
