Sea Pine - Hot Tub with Ocean View

A truly relaxing and cozy stay. It was the perfect setting for a solo retreat. The space felt warm, welcoming, and easy to settle into. I left feeling refreshed and recharged.

We had a lovely stay, didn’t want the trip to end! The view from the house was amazing, so peaceful and serene. The host was very responsive and all the instructions and information was clear and easy to understand. Would be lucky to stay again!

Every room was clean as a whistle, even the appliances. The bed linens and comforters were like new and cozy. Hot tub was at a comfortable temperature when we arrived and it was clean and clear as could be, offered total privacy and a great view of the stars. The home's proximity to the ocean allowed us to hear the heartbeat of the waves even when inside (heaven!). Ton of closet space. Generous use of the washer and dryer was appreciated. Only downside was an inefficient heater during this cold snap. Probably our own fault for not remembering to pick up kindling when we shopped in Gualala. I had a very difficult time opening the kitchen cabinets but that's not a huge downside of this wonderful place. Don't forget to pop down to Stewart's Point for latte's, warm bread and fresh pastries and even pizza at Two Fish Bakery.

We had a lovely stay at this sea ranch home. Wonderful for two people. Lots of big windows with great views of the sunset. Very close to the Bluff so walking along the trails was super accessible. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay here! As close to the ocean as you could get: just a short walk to the coastal walking trail, and great ocean views from the couch or the outdoor chairs (we loved drinking coffee in the morning on the back deck and watching the birds and ocean). The house itself is a nice size and very comfortable, with everything we needed and more. Hot tub and wood fireplace were great perks. The hosts were super communicative and helpful, too! Highly recommend for a peaceful vacation by the ocean.

My husband and I came to Sea Ranch for our 2 year wedding anniversary. We absolutely loved our stay. The hot tub was perfect, the views amazing and the place was cozy and quaint. Loved our stay here. We were right on the ocean and could hear the waves at night and look up into the sky at the stars. The hiking trails are amazing and make sure you go to walk on the beach. We loved Gama in Point Arena and the farmers market in Gualala on Sat. We played tennis and golf and would’ve swam, but we’re so busy exploring, we didn’t get around to it. I have to say lying on the couch watching Poldark after a long day was super pleasant. This was a great Airbnb. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Pines. We loved the timeless elegance of the simple forms that define the original Sea Ranch aesthetic and that are reflected in this place. Being right on the bluffs overlooking the ocean is the perfect siting. The hot tub was clean and delightful. As were the hikes along the coast that were so easily accessible. We also enjoyed the use of the nearby rec center for swimming and a little sauna. While this place could hold two couples or a family with a couple children, it was perfect for just the two of us.

I am an experienced AirBNB user & have mostly dealt with single owners, so dealing with a management company was different for me. I felt this management company was a bit over the top in needing validation and "5 star reviews". The place was great overall. Great view, private, quiet, very well outfitted kitchen. If someone is doing long term stay, you have everything you need to cook almost anything and the kitchen was a generous space to cook and eat. The hot tub was clean and hot and plenty of beach towels were provided for this. Comfortable king bed. Average linens and no extra pillows. To be true 5 star, I would have liked more than one set of bath towels for a 5 night stay without having to ask for this. They did bring these after I requested them, but not without some back and forth: ie: did I look in the linen cabinet for them! We had planned to grill, and the grill was nice, but the propane tanks were empty.

We only stayed for a weekend, but the location was magnificent and views from the deck were absolutely beautiful. Very quiet and relaxing time at this home, the hot tub was in great condition, seemed relatively new and very well maintained and offered a great view from it's location next to the house. We loved being able to walk right to the hiking trail along the coast.

The house is a tad dated but incredibly comfortable. Bed was very comfortable! The kitchen had everything you need and the house had the biggest TV I ever seen. But of course the best thing was the wall to wall windows with beautiful view of the Pacific. We made great use of the patio for morning coffee, evening wine and star gazing. And all the Sea Ranch Trails were right there. We had a wonderful, romantic laid back holiday!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Relaxing, beautiful, quiet, an amazing setting. It was perfect for what we needed - some work here and there, but mostly a get away with no stress. The communication was ideal and left nothing uncovered, and access was straightforward. The kitchen is well equiped for cooking - everything you need, and more than most Airbnb's. As other reviewers have noted, the 10AM checkout is unfortunate. It leave very little time to enjoy the last morning. It would be ideal if that was adjusted. We will be back!!

The place and the area was amazing, it was quiet and restful and just what I needed. There was a bit of a hiccup where someone else showed up an hour after we checked in for the same rental that was kinda awkward. They had rented through another service and I guess the place was double booked. The other person was able to get a hold of the host before I was and I guess they were able to resolve the issue and we stayed and they might have gotten another rental I hope? It kinda put a damper on the stay, wondering if it would happen again but otherwise everything was so wonderful. Loved the fully stocked appliances in the kitchen and all the helpful notes around the place on how to use or do things.

Our stay was such a delight. The house is a bit dated but cozy and has everything you need. Location is awesome, easy access to Bluff trail and perfect conditions for astrophotography. We also saw a fox and few bunnies after sunset! One thing to consider for people who need 2 bedrooms is that the one upstairs gets pretty hot during warm day. What a homey place to spend time! The furniture is a bit dated, but everything else was perfect. The setting could not be better. The kitchen is supplied with everything you could need. I LOVED the hand written cookbook. Each shelf was carefully labeled and we wanted for nothing. How many places can you open your eyes in the morning and see the ocean? We spend so many hours watching the stars, waves, and looking for whales. What a special time we had here.

Perfect location to take advantage of all Sea Ranch has to offer. Great views and access to the walking trail. Watched whales spouting from the windows every morning in the kitchen and on the deck. Been staying at Sea Ranch for many years and this was our favorite place lately. Only draw back at all was the check in time being 4 PM. Since we ALWAYS leave on depart day by 5AM, seems like we just got there. I'd love to be able to check in earlier. Otherwise, this house had everything, even great temperature control, everything expect for cabinets seemed brand spanking new. Thank you! We'll look for this same home again!

This is an amazing place to stay, with interesting architecture and a great view of the ocean. The whole side of the downstairs faces the ocean and you can see whitewater from the waves crashing while you have breakfast. The hot tub has basically the same view! The upstairs is just a sleeping loft, and there's a second bedroom downstairs, so it would be good for two couples but there is not a ton of privacy, so it should be couples who know each other well. There are walking paths you can access right outside that go up and down the coast. The kitchen is a little dated but to me that adds to the 1960's charm of Sea Ranch!

Beautiful home in a serene location. The place is just as described. Loved the home, hot tub, and well stocked kitchen. If you're planning on cooking, make sure you buy groceries on the way because the markets in Gualala are insanely priced. Please note that the ocean is not a sandy, lay around the beach kind of ocean. The home is located in front of the water overlooking rocky cliffs. It was still stunning! If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend this home in Sea Ranch. I hope to come back!

10/10. My wife and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary and we couldn’t be happier with the location. The house had everything you would need. We enjoyed all the hike trails this location has to offer and the jacuzzi was a plus after our hikes. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

This is a beautiful property - comfortable, well-stocked and incredible view. We were lucky enough to visit during a new moon and the stars overhead were breathtaking. The decor is quirky, and in my opinion, fits just right - I liked the character that was more unique. This place is so well managed - great communication, easy check in and departure. I’ve been traveling to the Sea Ranch for over 20 years and this was a beautiful place to stay in this area. It was very clean and comfortable. All little details were thought of. My husband and I have stayed at many coastal rental homes up and down the California coast, and this was one of the nicest ones we've stayed at overall. Now having stayed there, we're not sure why some reviewers referred to it as "dated," as we found the whole setup charming. If you're looking for coastal chic or some all-white beach house, The Sea Ranch - a planned community famous for its mid-century architecture and design - may not be the ideal getaway for you. We felt Sea Pines was very cute and very comfortable for us, as a couple. This is one of the cleanest Airbnb's we've stayed in, check-in and check-out were easy, the kitchen was well stocked with newer appliances that all worked great, the bed was awesome, and there was great water pressure and hot water in the shower. Best of all, the house is situated right on the coastline, meaning you can walk out the sliding doors and pick up the bluff trail along the ocean anytime you want. We wouldn't hesitate to come back again!

Perfect escape from SF city life! Loved waking up, walking to the kitchen and having coffee with the views of the ocean. There is also a walking/running path accessible next to the house which takes you down the coast. Due to the lack of light pollution, the view of the stars on a clear night is wonderful. We have been coming to Sea Ranch for many years and always love its beauty, serenity, and peace. This house was just right for us--smallish, cozy, well-stocked kitchen. Beautiful meadow/ocean view. Loved the all-windows wall facing the ocean. Loved the little deck to sit on and enjoy a nice wine hour! Close to beautiful bluff trails along ocean. Only suggestion is to put warning/safety tape on the 2 stairs down to the wood-burning stove--can be hard to see.

We really enjoyed this cozy home for two. Located adjacent to the Bluff Trail, we took long and leisurely walks every day. We really enjoyed the calming sound of the ocean waves. Watching the sunset from the small back deck was great!We have rented several houses in Sea Ranch and this was by far the most comfortable in that it was not cluttered with things :-), and is well-supplied with linens, towels and kitchen equipment. The bed is very comfortable, and the furniture in the living area cozy. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, servers, bowls, and cooking pots and pans, utensils and table ware. All is in excellent condition. Spices, herbs, oils, vinegars, teas, etc. available to use. There is also a gas grill which we used often.We will recommend to friends and will be back to enjoy another stay at Sea Pines.

Small house perfect for two people, located right on the Sea Ranch bluff with an easy walk to the Bluff Trail. You can see the splash from crashing waves from the family room - and the occasional deer.The hot tub was clean and relaxing.At night, if the skies are clear, there are fantastic star gazing opportunities.

While the location in The Sea Ranch is beautiful and peaceful, and the bed itself was comfortable, this rental felt quite outdated and in need of updates and maintenance.The kitchen is particularly dated, with dirty grout on the floor tiles that appears to need deep cleaning and resealing. The coffee maker was unclean and missing a fresh reservoir filter, making it unusable without first boiling water for deep clean and running a cleaning cycle.The bathroom shower is extremely small—smaller than some RV showers—and the light fixtures throughout the house are old and outdated. Additionally, the toilet was unstable and rocked on the tile floor.The heater in the bedroom was very noisy (like a freight train) and cycled on and off frequently (about every 8 minutes), making it impossible to sleep with it on—we had to turn it off entirely at night.The pillows were overly thick and lofty, which made them uncomfortable to use.Finally, the hot tub's chlorine and bromine levels tested very high (high on the charts at the upper end), which concerned us about safety and prevented comfortable use.Overall, the property has potential but could benefit from modernization and better upkeep to match expectations for the price. We hope the owner addresses these issues for future guests.

The house was very nice. The view was spectacular even in the strong winds & rains. A beautiful view of the ocean with windows across the front for a 180-degree view. The house was very clean with notes on shelves, even the spice counter. (Very Nice) The bed was very comfortable. Vrbo is very nice to work with again. I have rented successfully with them before.Grand welcome lacks in their communication. Several different people & phone transfers, sometimes dropped during the process. Additionally, the local office I found near the Gualala grocery store said open 9-5, but I never found anyone there during the hours on 3 different days. a little disappointing.Additionally, no one told me there was no cell phone connections in Sea Ranch or Gualala, except by satellite & other carriers that charged for connections.The house was very nice, great view and I would rent there again. I loved this cozy house. The side facing the ocean is 100% windows. The deck, tho small, is perfect for morning coffee and sunset wine. The best stocked rental I’ve ever encountered - from high quality cookware to spices and even office supplies. Comfy furniture. Lots of lights in living area but none strong enough to read. But that was ok - I watched the giant tv! And nice not having to drive into Gualala on arrival. Never used the pool but loved the roomy hot tub.

We love Sea Ranch and this home was perfect to celebrate our anniversary. The location is wonderful right by the ocean and the coastal trails. The home was well equipped and the furniture and the bed were very comfortable. The wall of glass was perfect for ocean viewing, and we were often able to see white caps. I would say the only improvements would be better reading lights in the living room and maybe a safety strip on the stairs leading to the wood stove. But overall great stay and we would love to visit again.

We loved our stay at Sea Pine. The location is incredible with views of the ocean and right off the coastal trail. We appreciated being able to walk to beautiful vistas and the rec center, and then relax in our own hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals for ourselves.

Beautiful location and amazing property. The hot tub is situated perfectly to guard from some winds and allow a perfect view. Very well stocked kitchen also, makes it so easy to enjoy without ever needing to leave. Comfortable bed. Wood-burning stove (wood also provided). Can't wait to make a return trip with my wife.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The check in process was not smooth. We had to wait around 2 hours before we could get into the property. Apparently there was one contract that had not been signed by me, and one identity verification. I never received notifications telling me that these were outstanding forms. So I ended up missing out on a few hours in the space. There also weren't really enough towels for the amount of time that we were there.We were there for two nights and there was only enough coffee and filters for one morning. The check out time was 10am, rather than the usual 11am. In general, we felt like for the amount of money we were paying for this house, it would have been nice to feel that there was more abundance in the details. Make sure there was more than enough coffee and give us a nice morning before we need to check out. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

This was a lovely cozy house with great views of the ocean from the house and the hot tub, as well. The sofas are old and the springs from the cushions could be felt - so they could be replaced, but I'm concerned that to do so would motivate the owners to increase the price, which currently is relatively affordable. We placed some cushions that we have from home and the car and that was an adequate remedy. Other than a slight carpet stain by the master king sized bed, everything else was absolutely perfect and delightful. I would return here enthusiastically!
