Winterset #01 Condo Near Year-Round Fun

Great and cozy place to stay with your friends! Very big and spacious; bigger than I anticipated. The hosts were very responsive. Overall, this was a great location with only minor complaints that do not detract from how good a cabin this is. Minor complaints: - Upon arrival, the entry code that had been provided in the check-in instructions did not work. We had to call to get a new code - The location claimed to have a trundle bed, but instead of a mattress on the bottom bed, it was only a thin sleeping pad. The guest who would have slept there decided to sleep on the couch instead.

Let me begin by highlighting the positives about this property. It's located in a great area—very quiet and conveniently close to a variety of restaurants and stores. The house itself is overall clean and well maintained. That said, there were a few challenges during our stay that I think are worth mentioning: Cookware Condition: One of the main reasons we choose Airbnb is to cook at home due to dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, most of the cookware was in very poor condition—nonstick coatings were peeling, and several pots had burnt bottoms. Only the baking pan was usable. We ended up purchasing a few essential items just to manage during our stay. Dust in the Loft Area: The bedding in the upstairs loft was covered in dust. While there was no noticeable odor, the dust level was problematic, especially since my children have allergies. This made it quite difficult for us to use that space comfortably. Entry Code Expiration: The entry code stopped working exactly at the checkout

this airbnb is absolutely fine as long as you don’t mind dirt and dust on the floor throughout the residence. i wouldn’t advise it for children who crawl, but if you’re all adults and wearing socks, the location can’t be beat. the shuttle stop is right outside and it’s very convenient for skiing/snowboarding as they also have a closet right out the door for your gear. for the cleanliness, i asked management if they could supply a broom and dustpan so i could sweep up all the dirt and debris around the house, but they had a canned answer of “let me check up on that for you” but never having an actual response for me. it was the same canned response whenever i realized that i had left some stuff behind- despite following up multiple times, they were never really able to get back to me in a meaningful way with any real follow up. but if none of this bothers you, the location was great and we loved how close the shuttle stop was!

The location is fantastic! The stop to get to Eagle Lodge is right out the front door. We walked to dinner one night. The company was quick to respond to any emails. It’s an end unit, which was nice. The three level condo was fun and we had plenty of room!

Love that this place has 2 master bedrooms, a total of 3 bathrooms, and plenty of couch space for movie night for everybody. Made it easy for adults to have their own rooms and the kids to sleep in the loft. The kitchen was well-stocked with basics. The pots and pans could use an upgrade, though. Property management was very responsive whenever we had questions. We had a very comfortable stay.

Everything is great, especially the location. It’s a cozy little place where everything is close by. Owner is very responsive and easy to communicate. The only thing is the place needs some updates in the bathroom. I would recommend this place!

Easy check in with a key code entry. Overall this unit is a great price for 3 bedrooms with three full bathrooms. It was very clean upon arrival - well dusted! Overall the decor is very rustic and it is darker than the photos. The mattresses could definitely be improved- you can feel the springs in the beds. Kitchen is well stocked. The one issue we had is that most of the windows don’t open. It would have been nice to air out the lower bedrooms.

Great communication from Grand Welcome. Condo is on the rustic side but we knew that going in. We enjoyed our stay for the price paid. Beds could be a little more comfortable but the location was clean. We enjoyed the pellet fireplace and large windows. We would stay here again.
