Convenient Condo Near Zilker & Barton Springs!

I stayed for a month here, I’ll list out the pros and cons. Pros: -The apartment is huge! Lots of space which is great, and high ceilings too. -Easy access to the main road and walkable to nearby stores. -The management team was very responsive and professional for dealing with any questions/concerns. Cons: -The unit is managed by a company instead of a person, so it lacks that personal connection feeling. -The unit was really dusty upon check in, and the air vents also needed to be replaced. -The unit is also very industrial, concrete floors and metal finishes, meaning it felt cold walking around without shoes. -Supplies such as dish soap, toilet paper, detergent ran out quickly. Not a big deal though as there was a Walgreens next door. Overall a good stay, if you’re looking for a big place to live with high ceilings this is good value. If you want a comfy and cozy stay I’d look elsewhere.

Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well supplied and had everything we needed for an extended stay. The location is unbeatable. Grand Welcome was communicated well, and was very responsive when I needed them. I'll definitely be staying here again!

This is a great apartment in a convenient location. The kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and living spaces are exactly as described and make for a great place to home-base out of for a trip to Austin. Only reason for 4 stars vs. 5 is the bed—it was incredibly uncomfortable and noisy. It’s so uncomfortable you find yourself rolling over repeatedly through the night, and the bed frame is so loud that when you do you will definitely wake up anyone sharing the bed.

Great place, great location. Loved the interior layout and decor. Roomy and comfortable. Would stay again. On the downside: refrigerator beeped non stop for 2 days, but that was resolved. Amateurs (ships, shampoo, laundry detergent gel packs, dishwasher pods, and toilet paper, etc) ate left like war rations. Tiny little tubes like in a hotel that last 3-4 days ( I stayed for 9 nights), Huge security gap… front door does not have a second lock. Anyone with a code to the door could enter at any time. This is extremely unsafe.

Overall, it was a nice property in a great location. However, our stay was marred by a malfunctioning refrigerator for 3 of our 4 days, causing an intermittent and sometimes constant alarm for 3 straight days. It was loud enough to wake us each night with bedroom door closed and AC running. Additionally, the malfunctioning icemaker also periodically poured water into the freezer section and onto the floor. We eventually had to unplug the refrigerator at night, affecting our ability to keep food or beverage cool. Management was initially very responsive in sending someone out, however they did not send an appliance technician. They sent an office employee that googled the same troubleshooting steps I had already done. When we requested consideration on the rate for the 3 affected dates, the contact had to escalate to upper management and after 6 days they only offered platitudes and a “ maximum” refund of $50. We requested $50 per affected day and opened a mediation ticket.

I had a perfect stay! Great location, near several bars and restaurants but tucked away so it was still quiet. I was able to cook meals with everything I needed. Super smooth check in and check out. I was a returning guest and this stay was just as good as the last. Highly recommend

Great condo just off of the main roadway. We could walk easily to many restaurants. If we felt like going further, getting a rideshare was extremely quick. Place is clean and comfortable for a long weekend stay. The day we were leaving, our flight was cancelled at 4:30am. Communication and working with us to get another night added to our trip was extremely easy. This allowed us the extra day to explore more of what the city has to see.

Great experience. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Short drive from downtown. Great view of the skyline from the private deck. Well worth it with a very responsive and helpful host.

Had a great stay here during my weekend in Austin. The place was accessible and just off the main strip of S. Lamar- easy to get to nearby spots and downtown and the parking was easy breezy. Also the AC worked great which was a must after spending the day in the Texas heat. Overall, had a great experience and would book this rental again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Welcome Austin and Highland Lakes! The Airbnb was conveniently located in our favorite part of Austin next to all the amazing restaurants. The view of the down Austin skyline was amazing from the balcony and large living room bay window. Also, the bed was super comfortable, and there was plenty of seating in the living room to embrace the view of Austin.

Stayed here with a few friends this past weekend and had a great experience! The place was super clean and the unit was beautifully designed we didn’t want to leave! Was walking distance from some good restaurants which we enjoyed and was conveniently located by a walgreens in case we needed to get anything. Overall good experience!

Airbnb was in a perfect location. Very close to DT. Also very convenient with a walgreens within walming distance a long with a few different food options as well. Overall airbnb is very spacious and definitely has a great vibe to it!

Everything was great. It felt like home away from home. Communication has been excellent. And the amenities were just right. The only thing would have been if the fridge had ice. But we got our own. Thank you and will be returning again!

Nice property; comfortable, nicely appointed, and great location close to downtown Austin. Property seemed safe and secure. We enjoyed staying there. However, there were some issues:1). Finding the property was more challenging than it should be. First off, by tapping on the map in the Vrbo mobile app for the property, we were taken to a very wrong location north Lamar Blvd. This is an egregious error. By entering the property address directly into another mobile mapping app, we still had trouble. Perhaps you could provide some additional verbal directions, such as "The building is located behind the Walgreens located at the intersection of S. Lamar Blvd and Bluebonnet Ln."2). No hot water at the kitchen sink. Why??3). The bedroom window is/was absolutely filthy, which ruined the view. Would it kill you to periodically hire a professional window cleaner to reach the tall windows? Instead of having your housekeeper do a half-ass job, as clearly has been done in the past.4). There were shampoo residue and pubic hairs in the soap/shampoo niche in the shower, presumably from the previous guest. Kinda gross!

Great location for us! Pretty view of the Austin City skyline! For an even better guest experience, it would be helpful to provide an ironing board to use with the provided iron, replacement of burned out light bulbs and have functioning ice maker.
