The Grove Haus | Stunning 4BR with Pool & Sauna

Amazing house with a fabulous backyard sauna. The pool had too much debris from the surrounding tress to be usable, and the hot tub heater was broken, but the property management team were responsive to our concerns and tried to get it working again.

Lovely home in Austin perfect for our staycation as our home was being repaired. The house is on a quiet South Austin street, a short drive from great coffee shops (such as Cosmic) and South Congress restaurants & shops. Loved the home design and feel. Having read other reviews that mentioned the sauna and hot tub not working (not obvious in listing), I reached out before booking to inquire about their status. While I was bummed these items were still out of commission during our May 2025 stay, the team was very responsive to my questions. Pool had a good deal of leaf debris when we arrived, but that's kind of to be expected given the tree-shaded yard so that didn't bother me. Pool cleaner apparently comes by on Thursdays currently, and he did a terrific job. Tons of towels and easy check out.

Rented this awesome house for my 30th birthday with my mom and a couple of friends! It was the perfect location. Make sure to walk a block to the Cosmic Pickle! And it's just a short drive to downtown. The private pool and sauna were perfect!Can't recommend this place enough.

We stayed 5 days and our family of 5 made alot of great memories at this home. Stayed in alot of vrbo and this home is right on point for the nightly rate. If your looking for fancy this isnt it as the bathrooms are outdated. That didnt bother us as they were functional. The beds were all acceptable with plenty of linens. The keurig is ancient so bring your own if thats you otherwise they have a drip there. The pictures on the site are outdated and the upgrades were much nicer. You practically get the beach to yourself on weekdays and the loungers on the deck overlooking the shoreline were what I miss the most. This place will be remembered and if I were back in the area I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.

The property and amenities were great and well-kept! Instructions were concise and the house had plenty of rooms, beds and baths!Our ONE complaint was the lack of a microwave but we managed re-heating food with no real issues.We will be back!!

We booked our stay with the hopes of enjoying the hot tub. Unfortunately after reaching out to management to figure out how to turn the hot tub on, they said that it does not work and that it should say that in the listing. After triple checking the listing, it does not say that anywhere in the listing, but it does list that one of their amenities is the hot tub. If I would have known that it wasn’t working, I wouldn’t have booked this home. The shower upstairs has mold & ants, pans & plates in the cabinet were dirty & had dried eggs on one of the pans. There were no extra pillows or blankets. It was not worth the price at all. Especially having to pay such a high cleaning fee when the home wasn’t decently cleaned for our stay.

We loved this VRBO! We were here for a bachelorette and they graciously let us check in early since the bride had an early flight. Check in was super easy, they just sent us a code. The pool was amazing, we hung out there two of the days. We even used the sauna once even though it was July. Very clean, and they had everything we needed. A good neighborhood with a coffee shop in walking distance.

Amazing house in a perfect location minutes to downtown without all the traffic and tons of great restaurants nearby. The house was perfect for us, nice separation of upstairs vs. downstairs, good living room and we had a great stay. The sauna was an added bonus and heated very quickly.
