We enjoyed our stay at this property but felt there were a few things missing that should have been standard. There were no wash clothes available, the furniture in the living room was not very comfortable, and one of the shower heads was broken. Also, the water in the hot tub was green with a brown film in the corners. We didn’t end up using it.

The property was clean,spacious and comfortable. It has a big yard and enough space to host a big group for a weekend in the mountains. I’m looking forward to the next time I stay here.

We stayed at Shuteye Ranch for a trip with friends and family and had a fantastic time. The house is spacious, clean, and well-stocked—plenty of room for our group. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the game room and hot tub were perfect for relaxing after a day out. The views from the patio were stunning, especially at sunset. It’s a peaceful location but still close to Yosemite. Would definitely come back for another getaway.

Location is great. It was a 30 minute drive to the south entrance of Yosemite. The house was spacious and able to accommodate our party. The views were a nice plus also.

We took a family trip to Yosemite for the weekend and enjoyed our stay in this home very much. We had all ages from 2 to 69 and the home had something for everyone. The view is amazing and the house is only 30 minutes from Yosemite. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a pretty secluded, private Airbnb. Nature views all around, very pretty and peaceful. Looks like the pictures, fit our group of 13 perfectly, and kids had a great time in the game room. Bring spices if you are going to cook as there was only pepper there. Only thing we had an issue with was the Jacuzzi. After the adults had gone in along with the kids, we tested the water with the chlorine strips that were there, and it had no chlorine in the water. The remainder of our trip was busy, so we didn’t let them know about that until leaving, which they said they will look into taking care of the issue before the next guests arrive. Shops were close by, and Yosemite about a 30min drive. All in all was a great trip, and definitely a good place if you have younger kids with you, since they have the playground right out front as well as the game room, it really kept them occupied the whole time.

This home is a great space for a large family. We had three generations gathering for a long weekend, and there was something for everyone. The outdoor space has plenty of room to sit and relax as well as a playground and outdoor games for fun. Although the house has some areas that are more lived in than others, it was welcoming, clean, and enjoyable for all ages.

Stunning surroundings and extremely spacious! There are technically four rooms if you count the game room as one. The house includes everything you see in the description and is very private. We took our two dogs and they absolutely enjoyed the backyard! The little kids took advantage of waking up with a play ground and a hot tub! There’s definitely a lot to do indoors and outdoors of the home. Oakhurst is roughly a 9 minute drive and there’s lots of little shops as well as restaurants and grocery stores. However when we arrived one of the rooms did smell like someone had been smoking in it regardless of the no smoking policy. There were used cigarettes in the fireplace outside and some even in a water bottle by the horseshoe. We did contact grand welcome immediately and they offered to send someone the next morning. The communication was great, they helped us out right away. Overall we enjoyed the home and had a lovely time! Yosemite isn’t too far and we actually stopped at sequoia!

This was the perfect place to have our family vacation for a Christmas trip! There was plenty of space and beds for everyone. I love that they allow dogs for an extra fee. We had everything we needed to cook the entire time we were there. The views were breathtaking and the hot tub was an extra bonus. Our family enjoyed staying here and we would definitely recommend this place and stay here again! The only complaint would be that the amenities listed a fire place and we really were looking forward to enjoying that. The binder with the house instructions said that the fire place couldn’t be used. I would take that off of the list of included amenities. Bring your own beach towels if you plan on using the hot tub.

Beautiful spacious house for a large family. The check-in and check process was extremely easy. Beautiful scenery and peaceful area. The kids loved the playground and game room. Bass Lake was only 20 minutes away.

First time staying in Oakhurst to go to Bass Lake with our extended family. The house was big enough for our party of 10. The kitchen was spacious with all the kitchen needs. The playroom worked great to sleep all the kiddos. The backyard was nice and open. We all enjoyed the hot tub. The house itself was beautiful.

whole house was clean and inviting. Bed I was using was so soft I could not sit in the edge while putting on my socks. A chair or stool would have been helpful. A couple of patio chairs and the glide on patio need repair or replace. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would enjoy returning

This is such a spacious beautiful home. My family and friend needed to get away from the city and this house was away from the city yet close to everything we could possibly need. We go to see plenary of deer and peacocks, along with amazing sunrises and the stars at night are beautiful. The host allowed us to get in a few hours earlier since we were traveling from LA and needed the rest by then, and it was supper easy to get ahold of Ursula who was amazing to our group. I would recommend this property to big families with kids as they have a play ground set and a game room along with other games out back. The hot tub hit the spot after walking in Yosemite and needing to relax. It is also pet friendly, so it was perfect for us

Amazing property, lot, landscape, location and house itself were all better than expected. Peaceful quiet neighborhood with deer & turkey constantly roaming the neighborhood & property. Very clean house & ample room for our family of 7. House was in a quiet location but a close drive to town to grab something from the store. Overall, amazing place to stay and posting well describes and shows what you are getting.Only downside was the check in and check out process. Had to wait at the house approximately one hour after arrival/check in time for access to the house, this was after several phone calls and text messages Check out communication was poor with lack of communication and incorrect information given.

I have rated you 5-star. Yet there is something you could do better.1. you should provide a map showing the location of your property and also give the direction instruction from Oakhurst. Since your property is located in the remote mountain area relatively far from Oakhurst (6 minutes drive), such a map is necessary.2. your instruction to open the door is far from satisfactory. First you said that the key-box is outside the house. We spend more than 20 minutes searching for it outside the house, which is located near the car park at least 30 yards away from the house. Worse still the code to open the key-box you gave us was wrong! I have to call you (luckily you respond) to get the correct code.Just imagine if I arrived after dark, the place had no public lighting, wandering in the dark in mountainous terrain for 6 minutes uncertain about the exact location. Then have difficult in locating the key-box, finally found the key-box but found that the code did not work. How frustrated, worried and afraid I would be.I dare claimed myself a seasoned traveler. I have tried all sorts of hotels, motels, resorts and vacation rentals. My experience is that if I rent a airbnb or similar, I have to make sure that I arrived in broad day light. If not, I'll stay in a hotel or motel for the simple reason that I mentioned above: difficulty in locating the property and uncertainty in unlocking the door. If you can address these two problems, then your business will certainly grow.

The house is lovely and very well stocked with kitchen stuff and games. They even had an immersion blender! The view is beautiful and there is a lot of privacy. The only thing I would recommend is bringing a bottle of cleaner with you in case of spills.

Amazing location. House is spacious and comfortable for 8-10 people. Good backyard along with a nice n clean hot tub. Some not so great things: 1. Propane tanks were completely empty. Had to go out and get it filled. 2. Amenities in kitchen can be hugely improved. There was no salt, sugar, or cooking oil. 3. No aluminium or cling wrap either. 4. Bathroom supplies were inadequate. Maybe good for 2 people. 5. All towels had a musty odor. Even after washing them, couldn't get rid of the smell. So chose not to use them. 6. Garbage cans outdoors were completely full, so had to hoard all the garbage in the house throughout the stay. If the owners stop skimping on basic home amenities, can go a long way.
