11th Heaven | Cozy Seaside Home Near Monterey Bay

Very cute house that was a great size for my family of three. I liked that it has its own driveway, garage, and backyard. The only bad thing is that one of the beds had not been changed. (There were hairs on the pillow and sand in the sheets). I was able to find a clean set of sheets in the closet and change them myself. The kitchen isn’t stocked with anything so be prepared to buy any and all ingredients you’ll need to cook. Overall, it was a nice place to stay for the price.

I really enjoyed my stay at this Airbnb! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing trip. The location was peaceful, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home. The only small issue I noticed was that the outdoor areas could use a bit more attention when it comes to clearing spider webs. Other than that, everything was great, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

My family had a great stay at this place over the spring break weekend. Our toddler enjoyed playing in the backyard. The house was super clean and host was responsive in addressing any queries. Also the host was able to give us additional hour for check-in and check-out as things with kids always take time. We really enjoyed the stay and would choose again in future.

Great location and spot for our family of four. I love that the location deadends into a safe, walled area. It was great that our kids could jump out of the car and play out front without having to worry about traffic! The accommodations were great. Fun and stylish house with ample room inside and out. The backyard was great and spacious. Was a great bargain for doing all things Monterey! We would return!

We really enjoyed our time here. The house was very clean and comfortable. We did stay during New Year’s and unfortunately the neighbors were playing loud music until 3 AM the night before our check out date so if you’re planning to stay here during a holiday, you may want to reconsider. The communication with the host is also automated so keep that in mind. Other than that, we loved this house!

A well stocked, charming property in a quiet neighbourhood. Delightfully comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, comfy front porch chairs. We loved the gas fire in the living room area and the walk in shower!

Cute house everything we needed to spend a weekend away. Very clean and inviting house. Had a little trouble getting the WiFi signed on and they responded right away with help. Great communication.

A magnificent welcoming venue that really captures the decor and vibes of seaside life. The property management team were always courteous and super responsive. For instance, they were flexible and very accommodating of our early arrival due to unforeseen schedule changes. Highly recommended, well situated with access to the sights and scenes in the area a short drive away.

Nice place. Check-in requires additional steps of personal verification and a contract at the last minute. But we got it done in time before arriving and company was helpful.

The house itself was wonderful! Beautifully updated, clean and very comfortable. The outside area with the grill was a nice space to relax.The rental company was terrible to deal with. We reported that the fire pit was out of propane within four hours of our arrival. They immediately replied and we were promised a new propane tank the following morning. The propane was never delivered during our stay. In addition, the washer did not work which was reported to the rental company the day after our arrival. We learned through their reply that they knew there was a problem with the washer prior to our arrival. They couldn’t schedule the repair during our stay so we requested additional clean bath towels. It took the rental company over 48 hours to provide these. This lovely property deserves a better management company!!

This is a nice little house that is adequately equipped and has an enjoyable backyard area. It is in a decent neighborhood and a short drive to groceries, restaurants, etc. The check-in was a little annoying, with necessary forms being sent to me rather last minute so that I did find myself sitting on the porch, filling them out so that I could receive the door code. Several issues came up during our stay that kind of soured the experience. The washing machine does not work beyond getting your clothes wet and then stopping functioning. In reading a review from about a week ago, I see that this has been a known issue that apparently remains unresolved. So, I got to bring home wet, dirty laundry. I also encountered an empty propane tank for the BBQ, which nearly threw our entire meal plan down the drain. Ultimately I ended up taking the propane tank from the fire pit and using it instead, but then, of course, no fire pit. Linens provided are just what you need and no extra. So, when I sure could have used an extra towel, none was to be found (and I didn't have a functioning washing machine to clean any).The only cleaning supply available was dish soap, making clean up of a spill *very* challenging.There is no recycle bin in the house, so I was given the choice of either walking every recyclable item out to the bin at the side of the house as it was emptied, or accumulating them on the kitchen counter--not great.Lots of issues, altogether not a great value.

Switch on one of the bedroom lamps is missing plastic thing you twist. Light bulb burned out in bathroom vanity light. Otherwise everything was great. We’re sorry to have to leave.
