The West Entrance to Joshua Tree National Park is just 16 minutes away. From there explore the many famous hikes of the park, find scenic lookout points on driving tours, go rock climbing or horseback riding, and be sure to stay late enough for the famed stargazing. Yucca Valley itself has wonderful nature walks, local shopping, and popular restaurants. Many find this location ideal for its proximity and easy access to Palm Springs, Coachella, Big Bear, the Colorado River, and the casinos and resorts of Laughlin, Nevada.
